"Thick Skull" - Vicaly

A little me lore, Back when I was still going to high-school this was an interaction I had with someone for the swim state finals at the airport. Para athletes didn't get their own disability categories so my thick skull didn't realize what 3rd place actually meant until an embarrassing amount later

I decided to draw it because the mountain drop of that realization lives rent free in my head

Went out with a friend to a fair.

They had nothing I could really eat without my body hating me, so I just ate a cone. Much to her embarrassment as people passed us lol

Gotta enjoy when people mistreat you. Even if it's unintentional!

I went to the store, and the cashier assumed I wanted a bag and had me pay for one without asking. Which was mildly irritating. Advocating for my little blind self that I didn't want a bag for literally 3 small items when I was wearing a backpack despite the guy insisting it would be "easier on me." Was annoying.

Realizing I don't have my receipt AFTER walking away was annoying. Especially when I found out I got the wrong pens and immediately go to the other section of the store to return them WITHOUT A RECEIPT.

The salt in the wound was when I realized he still charged me for the damn bag I gave back once I got a copy of my receipt. It was, you guessed it, annoying.

Oh, and the cashier at a cafe I went to right after kept five dollars before I came back and was like, "Wait a damn minute."

Yay, cane life.🦯

Decided I wanted to post my old AP Digital Art portfolio! (not all but most) :D

I understand why I got a 3, but I still remember how upset I was about it.

My theme was abusive relationships, which these two were supposed to embody. From the slow progression of control to being completely taken over and trying to leave.

I love hearing people's interpretations and how they notice my meanings while finding their own :]

Unfortunately for most of the month I'm being shipped off to a program that doesn't allow me to bring my digital art program, HOWEVER, I will be doing traditional attacks and I'm stacking up on digital art right now while I still can :]

Tiresias is so baby girl and he won it all

Mans survived the gods in all versions of his story, could understand birdsong and have visions, tried out womanhood via accidental snake stomping and got a family, lived way past normal expiration for a half human half nymph, then went to the underworld and was chilling with a mind that didn't dim.

And got to mess with Odysseus! At least in the EPIC version, in the original material he was chill and said Ody would die happy and old, but that doesn't really scream suspense✨️

Personally like to imagine he was blinded by Athena after accidentally seeing her bathing when he went searching for his mom as a kid. Just a big ol startled godly hand print burning his eyes and all Athena could do after was plead "oopsie daisy have a cane kid "

Kpop Demon Hunters - I actually might rewrite this thing because of all the ways it could have been fixed and flowed better

My Notes:

Kill demon king = demon get free will

Her dad a demon = he freed himself who was he? Where is he? Doesn't that mean demons who break free can/do have a shot at redemption

Her adoptive mother never brought up again hello? Accept or not that history of hunters can't just be erased? Also needed more interactions between the mom and daughter

Rumi came clean her girl friends would accept her not shun her

They were hypocritical

All three girls felt like an outcast in some form they would have accepted Rumis secret

Rumis secret as a half demon should have been a show don't tell, her quietly going into her own bath while the girls go to the bathhouse

The point of no return for her trio was raising a weapon to her after revealing she was a half demon, tf they were literally just running to save her

Can't come back from that unless you have deep convo and act of service

The guy should have seem rumi as his younger sister not weird lover maybe since you know 400 year old with way to much baggage and not enough intertwined with plot flow

Aka his redemption would have been being the older brother to the sister he lost

He lost his little sister? Rumi there

He lost his mother? Rumi adoptive mother there who he helps accept her OR IF NOT he stands up for Rumi as a older sibling and becomes the person she can rely on

He brings up points like:

Was her father not a demon? Do you believe all of us the same?

He could have been an ancestor of Rumi via his little sister and show how deep it goes - older sibling

Also his memories could have been altered by the demon king, that should have been a tell not show because it got messy as to what was real and what wasn't, as he spends more time with Rumi he realizes as such

Small tid bit "my little sister loved birds and cats..." could have been awesome

Would have been good if they had the tonal delivery of ultraman

Narinder's mer form! Based off of a lion fish and transparent fish, courtesy of @ane-doodles for the idea! I'm too tired to draw his Kaiju form but just imagine its the first image where he's most translucent but with his face ripped open and a lot scarier :,)

I like to think after Nari gets nerfed and taken back to the Lamb's cult the robe is more for protection since light.

Also bonus Lamb :D

I wanted to spread my happiness by making you all art before I take a small break since my family is visiting WITH MY SOBRINA! So enjoy this while I spend my week with my favorite bilingual toddler :]

I think this is the first time I've done art for Shamura, ever. So, oops but also I like the way bigfin squids and spider crabs look and think they fit the vibe perfectly.
