hey gamers what’s up, it’s been a while! i have very little video game stuff to talk about anymore but i’ve been playing the hell out of elden ring. still doing the record label tho. just released some tapes for a band from new jersey. they are a pretty killer group tbh!
my label has also been working on some ttrpg and video games to release, is that something that would interest any of you? i’ve been thinking of making a tumblr for it or using this one because i don’t even know how many active/non-bot accounts still follow this. i like talking a little more than other socials let me and the twitter algorithm has been a headache.
anyway, hope you’re all well! tell me ur fav build if ur playing elden ring, i just got my ruins gs to +10 and have a +10 starscourge gs in my offhand.
also check out this band if you want some new music to listen to! Spotify | Bandcamp oh and here are the tapes!

Game-On: Tabletop Card Game Comes To Life With Your Smart Device
With the pioneering of AR and VR technology, we’re seeing a lot of interesting experiments and projects in the industry, and one such project, Game-On, is opening up a nexus. We know you all love Yu-Gi-Oh, you still play, I still play, whatever, but remember the show how the characters in the cards would come to life when they’d duel? Of course you do, now that junk is possible irl, your dreams have come true. Developer Damien Lopez is currently crowdfunding the project on Kickstarter, and we’re talking about the ability to use your phone or smart device to look at cards and reveal some secret content. Look at a card with your obsolete human ocular devices and you see some Mondrian meets Picasso abstract craziness going on, but with that sweet advanced technology, you will see a whole new world come to life on that table where your dad used to whip your ass at Monopoly.
There are currently a few teams working on titles that make use of this tech, but don’t you have some ideas of your own? You can totally share them with Damien, but don’t forget this needs the funding or it’ll only take longer til this development system is made available. Now you’re probably thinking about all these kinds of RPG’s and zombie apocalypse games you wanted to make as card games, and it’s possible. Get on the train and check them out on Twitter, pledge on Kickstarter or simply spread the word if you can!

Crash World
Two Story Games
Platform: PC/Mac/Linux
Release Date: TBA
So I get a pizza truck (delicious), stick a flamingo on the top (thank you for adding that cause I’m obsessed with flamingos) and bust out of a heist (not sure what I stole yet). What’s the first thing I’m going to do in the bustling city presented in Crash World? I think I was supposed to get away from the cops but damn I really wanted a hot dog so I ran over the street vendor (no hotdog :[ ). I have a damage meter for my vehicle, repair wrench pickups along the streets, and all kinds of little events going on that I can disturb with the rigid body physics of my pizza truck’s sweet booty. I’m not delivering pizza, but I am serving up some vehicular blockslaughter and property damage. The black and white didn’t dig that, so my rampage was constantly interrupted by the law, darn.
Crash World plays like a Crazy Taxi/GTA mashup with a great low-poly visual style. Aside from the score and leaderboard, there are little bonus objectives added in as well. The objective is clear in this game, avoid death and keep running people over and causing damage which are two important game mechanics I’m always on the lookout for. Addictive gameplay accompanied with a great game world composition makes for a hysterically great time, and Crash World achieves just that. I was rollin before the game started as I watched a hobo get sent flying into my car as I was choosing my flamingo hat for my truck. NPC’s have dialogue bubbles that pop up and react to what’s going on in the game world. So far, my favorite was “Bush did 9-11″ which I’ve been personally saying for years, so I connected with that bus driver who said that on a deeper level. AI is such a beautiful thing…
The scripting is on-point, the controls feel great, and the overall atmosphere has a strong integrity for a demo. Not quite sure what the developers have against hobos, but running them over seems to please the dev gods of Crash World, so I obey without question. It’s also important to mention I dropped my flamingo trying to jump on a building and I screamed. If you’re tired of running people over irl and want to try it out in virtual reality, you can follow the development on Twitter and await the news of a launch!

Wow, video games
Man I used to love them shits, but my sweet children, mama is sick to death of the games. What, they just released call of duty 69 endless shooting people whatever? I’m waiting for the one where there’s literally no guns and the only way to beat the game is to talk your way out of global conflict. That sounds like the old Genghis Khan games actually, nvm.
ANYWAY
This blog is the source for game news, announcements, alphas, betas, reviews, crowdfunding…. The future is NOW. Or whatever.
I’m a developer, primarily an environment artist working in Unreal Engine, buuuut, I was also a journalist for a couple years and built a nice network. Now the remnants of that side job (that doesn’t pay for shit) are haunting my email box with press releases from AAA and indie studios/companies from all over our beautiful dying planet, so it’s an injustice to not help spread the word with my writing. Unfortunately, I’m busy with 2 jobs, tons of animals, and projects of my own, but I’m going to contribute any way I can to get you all the coverage you deserve. So here’s my attempt, where I’ll be dumping little bite-sized posts to save me time and allow me to keep up with this.
If you’re a developer:
Feel free to submit a post, talk to me about your project, ask for advice from marketing to development, or if you need an announcement posted about updates or crowdfunding, I’ll do what I can. The best way to get a hold of me is email: [email protected]
All my other social media is on the nav sidebar of this blog.
If you’re a player of games:
You want me to contact a developer of a project you’re looking forward to? Wand to play a game? Let me know and we’ll figure something out. I’ll check my library and we can play or livestream. I usually play DayZ Standalone or League of Legends but if you can find a way to get a Halo CE or Quake III Arena server online then please for sweet Lucifer’s sake let me know cause I’m always down to frag. Shit even the first Unreal Tournament would be great.

Nintendo will offer New 3DSes for $99.99 this Black Friday sales holiday, the first time it’s put the hardware out that cheap in the States! The discounted portables will be available in two versions, black and white, both with Mushroom Kingdom characters on their cover plates. Great news for people who’ve waited for a more affordable tag on the New 3DS, and even better news for kids trying to convince their parents to buy one as a Christmas present!

Titanfall 2 [Spoilerless] review in progress | Campaign so far
I know what you’re thinking, “dammit, another “review in progress” but I think I’m starting to see why they are so popular. As someone that enjoys games, I’d like to take my time and actually enjoy the game, when you turn it into a job it seems to take the fun out of it and makes reviews a little more harsh, so I’m going to try this out.
So I finally purchased and played a game other than Overwatch and honestly I’m super happy I did. At this point I wouldn’t say it’ll take Overwatches place as my main game but I’m having so much fun in the campaign currently. After just the first few missions I wanna jump back into it and keep playing. I personally didn’t like how long it took to start controlling my character but once I claimed control I didn’t want to stop. The world felt alive and the levels felt well designed. Playing on medium difficulty, the enemies felt a little easy but there were some intense moments already (I’ll be turning up the difficulty to see if it makes enemies smarter). Controls felt smooth and quick just like the first game, and if you didn’t like how the first one felt there are a few presets that change how it feels.
I’m still very early into the campaign but I’m having a load of fun, this is just my first glace at the and I didn’t go into it thinking of doing a review, but I decided you wonderful people should know my thoughts on it. I’ll post updates every few days until I complete the campaign and put a decent amount of hours into multiplayer. Until then, have a good one!
