You and Leon worked together at the RPD. It was simple: follow orders and help people. At least, you wished it was that simple. Everything would’ve been perfectly fine if you had never developed that dumb crush on your colleague. You’re 99% sure Leon is straight and doesn’t have any feelings for you whatsoever… right? Right. That being said, working with him was causing you to have internal panic attacks. What does it mean when he says that the RPD uniform looks hot on you? Is this some sort of joke or is he being honest? And, for the love of god, why did his hand move over yours at least fifty times per day? Again, is he joking?

Every interaction you ever had with him made you lose two hours of sleep every night. You were just being delusional; you were sure of it. Even if he did like you, he would probably leave as soon as you told him you were trans, just like everyone else. That’s what you thought for the first couple months of work until your heat cycle started. You hate it. Most of your colleagues are alphas and they didn’t understand why you would want to turn down a mating session with your heat being that bad— it’s not like you can just tell them your biggest secret. Leon was the only person who never brought it up. Despite hating when other people brought it up (whether it be your scent or how you’re acting), you wished he said something. Hell, you wished he could just do a little more than hold your hand. Your gaze, at this point, was burning a hole into the back of the poor man’s neck so he turned to face you with his sweet expression, his voice the most relieving thing to your ears as he spoke, “Do you need any help?”

Finally. You could almost jump for joy at this point. A shaky breath escaped you as you nodded and then quickly corrected yourself, “No- no… never mind. I’ll be fine.” Idiot. How could you forget that this perfect being of a man would never even consider liking you? He’s probably asking if you need any help with work.

Leon’s eyebrows knitted together. “Let me…” he moved towards you, “Let me help you, please. I-I’m not offering to mate or anything like that… but just tell me what you need, okay?” Leon said gently. You shook your head, “No, I’m fine, I swear. Besides, if anyone were to help in anyway I’d prefer it to be someone who loved me mutually or something…” you laughed nervously. Your alarm set on your phone went off, signaling that your shift was over for the day. Quickly, you shut it off. Leon grabbed his sweater that was previously draped over his chair and laid it over your shoulder. Before you could say anything, Leon, with his face completely red, gave you a quick kiss on the cheek along with a whisper of, “I do love you” before slipping out of the office.

You were oblivious. That’s what you thought as you laid down in bed, wearing Leon’s sweater. His scent caused you to calm yourself down for only a couple seconds before your mind brought you back to that moment… he loves you. But will he still love you after you tell him you’re trans? Small tears blurred your vision as you buried yourself in his sweater.

To get it over with, you pulled out your phone and shakily pulled up Leon from your contacts. You swiftly sent him a message that told him you’re trans and that you’d understand if he wanted to leave. You didn’t expect to get an immediate response back of him telling you that it didn’t matter to him… he loves you either way. Not even giving you enough time to start endlessly sobbing out of pure happiness, he sent another message asking if you wanted to arrange a date. Why wouldn’t you want to arrange a date?

It was a sweet date at a cafe. You wore Leon’s sweater, not wanting to go without his scent turning your terrible, pounding heat into a quiet hum. His presence soothed you even further. Normally, it would’ve made your brain go haywire but, now that you know he feels the same way, being around him is warm and comfortable. Fuck, and the way he gave you those sweet kisses made you want to melt right into him. He liked to place his kisses on your birthmarks, finding your reaction cute. You both weren’t ready for an actual kiss yet, like two nervous teenagers, so you both stuck with kissing everywhere else but the lips like the cheek, forehead, nose, and hand. Holding his hand felt better. You got to trace over his palm, feeling his callouses.

Going home with him for the night was even better. No more lonely nights of craving a partner to hold you. Now, you had Leon and Leon had you.

Leon and Y/n have been partners for a while now. They work well together, however, thanks to Leon’s combat skills and Y/n’s intellect. Over the past couple months, Leon has been trying to make a move on Y/n but he’s too oblivious! He just thinks Leon is just being cocky when he calls Y/n “cute” while y/n is talking about his interests and Leon was sick of it… but it was still cute.

Y/n just had no idea how handsome he was to Leon. Leon could listen to him for hours, he could look at him for hours, he could eye him up for hours… anything. Damn did he hate the fact that he could barely get a blush out of him, though. It’s like y/n built up this wall in his mind that Leon would try to get past no matter what. He needed Y/n. Stop being so hot and dumb and start being in his arms.

He realized he had to be touchy with Y/n in order to make him flustered. Just an arm around his waist or a hand on his thigh was enough for him to start randomly talking about something to ignore both the tension and the blush that was so prominent on his cheeks it hurt. Y/n still didn’t take the hint, though. So aggravating.
