Shout out to fictives who feel uncomfortable and exposed by the fact that their sources exist as public media that anybody gets to see. The fact that anyone can just pull it up and see all of your history and traumas and mistakes, without your say or even knowledge. The fictives who don't even feel they're allowed to be upset about it because it's "just fiction" and therefore doesn't matter. Who feel like less than "real people" because of it.

What I think the absolute coolest thing about mathematics is, is that everything already exists. It's all out there already, in the universe in some fashion, as some sort of concept, even if unknown by anyone. The hat and the spectre, i.e. the first discovered aperiodic monotiles, both always existed as some sort of concept, they just had to be found by someone, and they eventually were. In the same way that far away planets, stars, solar systems, and galaxies exist out there that we as the human race continuously work towards finding, mathematics is also out there somewhere, except instead of being millions of light years away from us, it's RIGHT HERE, it's within us, our minds, and we just have to keep digging within ourselves to find and discover it.

hi can you like/rb this post if you are also struggling with loneliness and mainly interact with people online or through doctors/therapy appointments?

i've been so mean to myself about my difficulties with in-person socializing and. i know i'm not alone, or worthless, logically.

but it'd help me, and could help others, to just have that little in-your-face remidner that no, you're not alone... no, you're not a failure... you're just struggling, and that's okay.

i need to take my own advice. always easier to be kinder to others than to ourselves, huh?
