"what was that all about?" Love Vander (:
From, PROMPTS FOR A LITTLE JEALOUSY
"It’s nothing! Forget it," Vi spat, storming past Vander as she made her way towards the door of the hideout. She wiped the blood still trickling from her split lip with the back of her hand, the sting only serving to fuel her frustration. Another fight, another scuffle—nothing new. She’d been protecting Powder again, and she wouldn’t think twice about it. But Vander had overheard her conversation with Mylo and Claggor, and despite their cheers, she wasn’t about to calm down. She could feel it in her bones—that creeping sense of inevitability.
The city was full of people who saw weakness and pounced on it, and as long as Powder was around, those comments would keep coming. The boys’ compliments felt hollow, a fleeting distraction from a much bigger problem. Vi couldn’t let her guard down, not when she knew this fight was far from over.
Some boys from the undercity had been the latest to call out Powder, questioning her place among them—calling her weak, a liability. Vi clenched her fists at the thought. No one was going to talk like that about her sister, not on her watch. She was the only one who could protect Powder from the harsh reality of the undercity, and if that meant knocking a few heads together, so be it.
As Vi reached the door, she could hear Vander’s footsteps following close behind, the creaking of the old wooden steps betraying his approach. He was always there, ready to step in, to try and protect her from herself. But right now, she didn’t need his interference. Not today.
"I'm fine," Vi snapped, turning on her heel to face him. Her voice was sharp, but the simmering anger in her expression made her words feel anything but final. The fire in her eyes burned with a frustration that was more than just the fight—it was the constant feeling of being responsible, of being the protector.
"Can you just…" She struggled to find the words, her arm flailing slightly as though to push him away without touching him. Her brow furrowed, and for a moment, she seemed to shrink under the weight of everything that had happened today. But then the anger bubbled up again, too strong to ignore. "Forget you saw me today…"
#note to self: make younger vi icons#okay okay so i set this beeeeeeefore the events of episode one#beeeeeecause its pretty obvy that this isnt their first rodeo and vi is just being protective big sis huff huff#im sorry vander for your hormonal teenage daughter KJDSHSHJD#BUT HEY LOOK AT US#LOOK AT ME I FINALLY WROTE A THING FOR YOU#feel free to continue it ;)#<3

" do you remember your nightmares ? "
From, THE SOUNDS OF NIGHTMARES SENTENCE STARTERS .
𖤉 Sat atop a small hill, with a view of the sky stretching endlessly above, Vi found herself beside her sister, Jinx, looking down on The Haven. It was the place where their father, Vander, was being cared for—his battered, broken body tended to by Viktor’s strange, Hextech healing methods. Vi’s breath caught slightly as she took in the sight of it. It was a serene scene, but one laced with a great weight of emotion.
She broke the silence with a soft smile, her voice warm, though tinged with the familiar ache of longing. "Howd I know I’d find you here?" The words hung in the air, gentle yet laced with unspoken history. While Vi hadn’t often sought solace in this spot—only visiting it once or twice—she knew it was a place Jinx might find herself when everything became too much. They had been apart for years, their lives taking wildly different paths, but Vi knew her sister well enough to understand the need for distance, for space to think, or to escape. And after everything that had happened, after their reunion that felt both like a relief and a weight, it wasn’t hard for Vi to expect Jinx might pull herself away to this quiet place, if only for a moment.
Vi walked over to Jinx, her footsteps light but purposeful. As she reached her sister, she paused for a moment, taking in the quiet, the distance between them that felt both familiar and foreign. Without another word, she swung her legs over the edge, dropping down beside Jinx. The movement was swift, but calculated—her palm pressed against the ground to steady herself, softening the impact of her descent. There was a brief, almost imperceptible brush of her shoulder against Jinx’s, a reminder that, despite everything, they were still here—together once more.
Vi sat silently for a moment, her hand still on the earth beneath her fingers, grounding her. She looked at Jinx, who appeared distant, lost in her own thought as the silence between them stretched, thick with layers of emotion. It was a quiet that was both comforting and filled with unspoken questions. They were together again, but for how long? And at what cost? They’d been through so much, separated by time and circumstance, and yet their bond still existed, though it had been fractured in too many ways that neither of them could easily repair. Vi let out a heavy sigh, her gaze drifting towards the place where Vander was being cared for, and then back to her sister.
"Do you remember your nightmares?"
The question was so casual, but it hit Vi like a hammer. She froze, her lips parting slightly, almost as if to speak, but the words wouldn’t come. Her gaze flickered back to Jinx, searching her face for some clue as to whether she truly wanted to hear the answer. But before she could respond, Vi’s eyes fell back to the distant Haven, the weight of her past pressing down on her chest. A lifetime of pain, memories, and guilt—all of it resurfacing in a single, simple question. She knew Jinx had nightmares, just as she did. The demons of their past weren’t so easily escaped.
“That’s a… loaded question,” Vi muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. There was so much she wanted to say, but there was no time to unravel everything in her mind. The nights spent in that cell, trapped in the darkness, unable to escape the echoes of what had happened, haunted her still. And then there was the guilt. The guilt of losing Jinx, the complex pain that still held weight from Caitlyn and of not being able to protect those she cared about. The weight of it all was unbearable at times, and no matter how many rounds she fought in the Undercity Pit or how much alcohol she consumed to numb the pain, it never went away.
“I… can’t remember the last time I had a dream,” she said quietly, almost as if she were questioning herself. Her words felt hollow like she was trying to convince herself of something she didn’t believe. But it was easier to say nothing, to avoid the pain of delving too deep. Jinx didn’t need to know everything; she didn’t need to hear about the nights that left Vi writhing in fear and regret. The guilt would always linger, but perhaps this wasn’t the moment to confront it.
Without another word, Vi reached for Jinx’s hand, her fingers gentle as they wrapped around it. She gave it a soft, reassuring squeeze, her thumb brushing over her sister's knuckles. It was the kind of comfort that didn’t need words, a touch that spoke volumes. There was so much they hadn’t said to each other, so many things left unsaid, but for now, this was enough.
"I think the nightmares have scarred us, but they've also made us who we are now—stronger, even if it's... hard to see sometimes," Vi said, her voice steady, though there was an honesty there that was raw and real. She looked back at the Haven, at the figure of Vander within, healing and struggling, a reminder of everything they had fought for, everything they had lost. “But I’m not leaving you again.” The words hung in the air, heavy with promise and a sense of finality. They had both suffered, they had both been scarred, but they were together again, and Vi would be damned if she let Jinx slip away from her again.

Vi’s excitement was fleeting, obliterated by the sharp lash of her sister’s words. She hadn’t hoped for much—maybe not even forgiveness—but the venom in Powder’s voice cut deeper than she could have anticipated. It wasn’t just the words that winded her; it was the sheer weight of what they meant, the memories they unearthed. "Powder—" she began, but the name felt foreign in her mouth now, like trying to summon a ghost.
Then, from the shadows, her sister stepped forward. Vi’s breath hitched. No, not Powder—not really. The figure before her was someone else entirely, a phantom of the girl she had once known. Her skin was pallid, almost deathly, like a canvas drained of life. Deep shadows clung to her hollowed eyes, but it was the shimmer—an eerie, neon light that danced in her irises—that stole Vi’s focus. They weren’t the soft, curious eyes of her sister anymore. They were weapons. They burned into her, unrelenting, dissecting her in ways words couldn’t.
The rumours had been true. Powder was gone. And what remained... Vi wasn’t sure if it was grief, guilt, or something far worse clawing at her insides. She wanted to say something, anything, but her throat tightened with panic. Her heartbeat roared in her ears, drowning out even the broken fragments of Powder’s tirade. Her hand instinctively moved forward, desperate to bridge the distance between them, but faltered midair as her sister’s gaze snapped back to her, sharp and unyielding.
Vi froze, her outstretched hand recoiling as if burned. Not from fear of her sister—no, never that. But fear of her own failure, fear that any movement, any word, would worsen the damage she had already done.
Jinx's voice, frenzied and fragmented, rose again, her words incoherent in their chaos. They weren’t aimed at Vi so much as unleashed—untamed and raw, like a storm with no direction. It hurt to hear. It hurt worse to watch. Vi searched desperately for the Powder she remembered, her eyes darting across the cracked veneer of this stranger. And then, for the briefest of moments, she saw her—fragile and flickering, buried deep beneath the neon glow. The little girl she had promised to protect.
A sharp sting alerted Vi to tears welling in her eyes. She let out a laugh—shaky and brittle, a sound as fractured as her heart. Her head bobbed in a frantic nod, as if convincing herself as much as her sister. "It’s me," she whispered, the words catching on a lump in her throat. Her voice wavered, a plea thick with desperation. "It’s really me. I swear, Powder, I can explain everything." Her breath hitched again, her gloved hand trembling at her side. "If... if you’ll just give me a chance. Please."
Her words faltered, and she felt the silence stretch like a noose, tightening with every second her sister didn’t respond. All she could do now was wait, her heart thundering, and hope—hope that Powder could still hear her through the storm.
WAS IT REALLY VI? She'd been seeing her sister in every dark corner and heard her voice echo through the wind. Her head lolled to the side, though Vi had changed somewhat, in the same breath; she hadn't changed at all. Perhaps her hair was a little longer, a bit more gangly. She laughed at that thought; there's nothing gangly about Vi.
But where had she been all these years? Why hadn't she come for you? You know the answer, don't you? It's your name after all...
The call of her childhood name dragged her from the racing thoughts inside her mind and stilled the voices that plagued her waking moments and her nightmares. Jinx didn't move, not an inch. Not even her face twitched. Jinx watched Vi approach her, watching the struggle in her steps. "I can see that..." The remark fell off her tongue quicker than she could stop it. Jinx's quick-fire remarks had become almost a comfort for her, protection from the rest of the low-lifes that resided down here. It was natural. But still, she watched, because she couldn't be sure.
But why... why now? I was doing fine. He lied. He lied. He lied. He lied. He lied.
"Shut up!" Her hands clasped to her ears, and those words repeated like a mantra in her head. Jinx buckled to her knees, curling in on herself as she attempted to block out those thoughts. No, he didn't know. He couldn't have known. He wouldn't lie to me. He wouldn't... How desperately she wanted to believe that... just as much as she wanted to think this was Vi in front of her and not some messed up trickery sent to mock her. Or worse; her own mind making this up.
She counted to three in her head slowly, eyes shut tight. Calm... Calm... The monsters aren't real... They're just in your head, right? The soft words hit her ears, she heard the hitch in Vi's breath as she opened her eyes to look at her. They won't get you while I'm here...
"You're... really here?" But she left you before... "...Vi?"

PROMPTS FOR A LITTLE JEALOUSY * assorted dialogue for when you see the person you're interested in with someone else and go... hey wait a minute, adjust as necessary
are you two... together?
i should probably ask if you're single first.
who was that you were talking to?
did you two have a nice chat?
are we really doing this now?
what was that all about?
i don't like it when they touch you.
they need to learn to keep their hands off you.
are you trying to make me jealous?
you just gave me the impression we were exclusive.
who was that, anyway?
was that someone you know?
it's completely innocent.
were you flirting with them?
that was a little bit excessive.
they were flirting with you.
i'm not jealous.
i'm upset with you.
they didn't mean anything by that.
i just thought we had something going on.
they know i have feelings for you.
i hate it when you get jealous.
i'm two seconds away from throwing a punch.
they did that on purpose.
wait a minute... are you jealous?
you have no reason to worry.
i'm not interested in them, i promise.
they do get a little touchy-feely, i'll admit.
they don't mean anything by it.
did they just try to kiss you?
we're just really good friends!
you know i only have eyes for you.
please ignore them, okay?
it's not like i'm in love with you or anything.
they're just trying to upset you.
i just don't like it when someone else flirts with you.
i don't blame them, of course, but you're mine.
next time someone tries to hit on you, call me over.
i'll give them a piece of my mind.
they know you're taken, right?
i didn't want to get in your way.
clearly your mind is elsewhere.
if you'd rather be with them, then just tell me.
i need to know where we stand.
can we be more exclusive?
i just don't like it when they talk to you like that.
you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
if they make you happy... i can't stop it.
maybe i have a crush on you. so what?
there was a better way to go about this, you know.
you could have been a little bit nicer.
did you have to be so nasty about it?
i'm going to scream.
i don't want anything coming in between us.
you trust me, don't you?
if you trust me, you have nothing to worry about.
this jealousy of yours is getting a little bit out of control.
i love only you.
why do they have to hold your hand like that?
they couldn't keep their hands off you.
i hate watching you deal with that.
i should give them a piece of my mind.
what? me? jealous? never.
i think i'm allowed a little jealousy every now and then.
you're mine, and i want everyone to know that.
did you just... get jealous over me?
you said you weren't the jealous type.

A voice she hadn’t heard in years—whether it was the inflection, the tone, or the accent—Vi recognised her immediately. Her eyes flickered first, then her head turned, and for a moment, her breath caught in her throat. Neon blue, bright enough to cut through the darkest alleyways, flooded her vision. Her sister was standing right in front of her.
Time had taken its toll, but not in a way that was entirely for better or worse. Powder had changed. The girl she remembered, the one just the right height for hugging, had grown. Now, when their gazes met, their eyes were level with each other. Vi's heart twisted in a way she couldn't explain, but she couldn’t dwell on it. Not now.
Her attention snapped back to the thug still caught by the gauntlet she had clutched around his throat. The only thing that brought her focus back was the sound of his struggling breath. Her fingers tightened for a moment, her guard still up, teeth bared in a snarl. "You're lucky," she muttered, voice low and dangerous.
With one sharp shove, she sent the thug stumbling away, signaling him to get lost. Vi’s eyes never strayed far from Powder as she took a slow step back, her body still humming with the aftermath of the fight. The years apart hadn't dulled the anger, nor had they erased the ache.
"Powder!" Vi’s voice broke, raw and desperate. It didn’t seem real, and her knees nearly buckled under the weight of exhaustion, but she kept moving, pushing herself forward. When was the last time she’d eaten? Drank? It didn’t matter. Her feet dragged, but each step took her closer to her sister, the one person who had always been her anchor.
"I’m here," she said, the words tumbling out before she could even think. "I never meant to leave you—" Her breath hitched as she closed the distance, her eyes wide, heart pounding. She didn’t know what to say anymore. There were no words that could fill the years between them, but she needed to try, needed her to hear this.
No matter what had changed, no matter the distance, she was here now. And she wasn’t going to let her go again.
@getjinnxd (lets try tagging your blog again <3)
Covered by the shadows in the nearby alley; Jinx was more than content to watch how the situation would unfold. Would Vi hurt him? Would she kill him? The anticipation was welling in the pits of her stomach, eyes widening while she all but cooed in excitement. Such fun.
The echoes in her mind were quiet; all she could hear was the static of her overexcited mind. Hands clasped in front of her face, nails biting where they found purchase; what has he done, I wonder? But that excitement soon gave way to disappointment.
She doesn't have the stomach for it... she's not a killer like you.
Jinx grit her teeth; so much for peace and quiet in her mind. Those rare moments of static were what she longed for.
Powder... Wait; why was that so familiar..? Oh, right, that was her. Or it was her, a long time ago. A name she hadn't thought of in so long -- it was her, right?
She stepped out of the shadows, nails scraping along the wall; "Didn't look hard enough... I'm right here...!" Oh, but she abandoned you, didn't she? Called you a Jinx. Her gaze flicked between her sister and the pathetic weasel she had pinned against the wall. "... been here all this time. Unlike you..."

an independent roleplay blog dedicated to Vi, from Arcane.
Dash only.
I'm here to bring the chaotic, protective spirit of Vi to life while respecting the depth of her character. Expect heartfelt, gritty, and sometimes messy interactions, all with a healthy dose of vulnerability.
EXCLUSIVES: Jinx, Caitlyn(Single Ship), Viktor, Silco.
Cherished by andrea. (25+) Est nov 24
Rules Under Cut:
RULES(under cut:)
howdy, i'm andrea. long time roleplayer (fifteen years +) first time dabbling in this fandom. I have a long ass history of being here on dumblr but its been over a year since i've commited to anything so Oop! here i am (iGuess)
simple dimple rules.
be a decent human being. i'm not here for popularity parties, whO PoRtRAYS xyz character the best, on the whole i'm duplicate friendly, but i won't follow another vi first. -- unless its stated in your rules that you're also dupe friendly! honestly, i just like to exist in a world where there's no competition and we can have long, healthy chats about characters we love - we don't own them for gods saKes, let's just Enjoy Them Together.
please, do not pester in messages. my discord is available, but i am a single mum (though i do have support from my fiancee who lives with me <3) who is working AND also studying at University - so just know that i am Slow and I will reply eventually. Essentially, i will reply and engage when i can give the time to have a conversation, i don't like to one message and dip!
ship and let ship. I'll sail on my boat, and I'll wave to you from yours! I headcanon Vi to be a lesbian, with that Exclusivity extending to Caitlyn only. ( @cupcakenforcer ) the writer behind caitlyn is my fiancee kay, and so, I won't be writing with another. However if another cait follows, or likes a headcanon or just wants to talk and schtuff, I am more than happy to do so - i'm not here to push anyone out - but i jumped on this bandwagon with her and another good friend of ours, so that's just how it is!
on the note of exclusives, the same rules apply. Mains however are different, and to get your name as a main I would want there to be development and crazy loopy shenanigans on both sides!! so mains will generally get preference, but they are not the same as Exclusive (for example Ekko, I might have a main Ekko and they will be treated as such in other replies where their character is mentioned, but I will also write with other Ekko's alike.)
Lets just have fun and go insane, honestly - and i can quote all my friends on this - i have the ability to talk to a rock, so i can chat your ear off and i'm super easy to approach :)
drink coffee and support jacket potato supremacy!
#thats it tbh#im gonna make this look nicer later but shhhh its been a minute since i did the dumblr thing#oh aND if you don't know hannah montana and abba ur too young to be on my page (oldie who is 30)#(okay god bless ty)

"You've got a good heart…"
How many times had those words echoed in her mind? In moments of weakness—when death had been 𝑎 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦, when she was 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄 to rise up one last time, to throw one final punch. But what had it ever achieved? Those words had been spoken to a younger Violet, one who hadn't abandoned her sister, one who hadn't caused so much PAIN to the people she loved. Maybe, just maybe, she was only now realising that the Violet Vander had once seen wasn’t the woman standing here now.
And yet, no matter how much she tried to push them away, she knew—though she wouldn't admit it now—that those words would always ignite something inside her, giving her the strength to keep going, even when she had nothing left to give.
"Powder!" Her voice rang out, the gauntlet pressing harshly against the throat of another of Silco’s thugs, his fear palpable. "Where is she?"
The words were a snarl, laced with frustration. Her teeth ground together as saliva dripped from her lips, and she could almost feel the heat of her anger boiling over. Someone had to know where Powder was—she wasn't exactly hard to M I S S.
