what are your favourite complex characters and why?

OOOO fun question… I don’t know if all of these are viewed as “complex” by the fandom but I view them as such

violet: my second favorite character and my favorite love interest I’m kind of obsessed with her. I think the reason I got so attached to vi is because of how much I see myself in her… she’s just me if I was in a zombie apocalypse basically. she’s flawed but realistic and I am going to defend her forever

kenny: there is so much to say about this guy (both positive and negative) but my opinion of him leans towards positive. it’s so hard to not feel sympathetic for him. I don’t think you can really expect anybody to be mentally stable after losing their wife + son and then their second love. doesn’t mean I defend his actions (especially in episodes four and five of season two… 😭) but he is sooo interesting as a character I’m glad he came back after s1

minerva: would you look at that… my favorite twdg antagonist?? GOD I love minerva she makes me feel SICK. her story is so tragic- given away by someone you thought was your friend (resulting in you being ripped from your friends, little brother, and girlfriend) to forcibly become a soldier to fight for something you never wanted to in the first place is TERRIBLE. and then being forced to k!ll your twin sister on top of it… cannot even imagine. yes her actions are WRONG but you gotta remember she was brainwashed and molded like clay into something she never wanted to be. after all, she never liked killing walkers

What is your opinion on Louis?

I LOVE LOUIS! 🎹 he’s my guy for real. I feel like I would get along very well with him in real life (especially because one of my best friends irl is a lot like him) and he’s my fifth favorite twdg character

I like that he brings some cheeriness to the depression shitshow of TFS… we REALLY needed a lighthearted character to balance everything out imo. also his friendship with the rest of the s4 trio (violet and clem) is so cute and it is one of my favorites in the entire series I really like them lol

negatives wise? uhhh whole marlon shebang and his reaction in episode two. while his ANGER is understandable I do Not really like his idea of taking away the gun from aj 😭 one because the last bullet was used on marlon and two it was aj’s gun. also him voting to kick clem and aj out into the woods basically defenseless was… not his best moment for sure. his reaction itself was valid especially considering marlon is his best friend, I’m not saying it wasn’t! but it doesn’t mean I have to agree with his response

^ however louis 100% redeems himself in the end by my eyes. he is a flawed character for sure but so is literally everyone else 😭 so in the end it all evens out. his jokes also make me laugh because they are exactly my sense of humor which I REALLY appreciate

all in all I think louis is a fantastic character and one I really enjoyed :) I think his arc is realistic and was done very well + I think about him dealing with the aftermath of marlon’s death every day :( even though his reaction was a little.. unpleasant to watch.. in the end I see why he did what he did even if I don’t think it was right of him. but he is still a good person. I’ve grown to like him even more because of my dog design for him (which I am very happy with)

sorry for the ramble TLDR is I enjoy funny piano man
