So, have had a couple hours to process Superman, but... Oh my God, this movie is so good. I cried twice in the theaters, and sobbed like a baby when I got home it stirred up so many emotions in me.
I love seeing a Superman who's dedicated to helping people.
That's it. That's my Superman right there.
This entire movie feels like a love letter to the character. And this whole universe, and as someone who's loved DC since I was a kid... It's so refreshing to see my personal heroes on the big screen, and... And hear people cheering for them. Hear kids cheering for them. Sitting in a theater and hearing the audience fall in love with these characters like I did all those years ago...
Genuinely still very emotional about it... And it's not a perfect movie... But by God... It made me remember why I love these characters. And why I love Superman in general. It's his kindness.
And that's pretty fucking punk rock.
