been taking a break from world stuff for a bit to play in the fanfiction sandbox again, and i’ve noticed two (2) things so far:

1.) writing fanfic is the perfect exercise for writers block because I can just take the characters as they exist in my lil noggin and not worry about staying setting perfect. there’s already written lore telling me the bounds I have to work with, and I can just mess around with everything else. who says I can’t make Dean Winchester wear the bad man pink vegeta shirt, he’s a comic store owner in this au anyway!

2.) my characters live so deep in my subconscious I can’t stop seeing them in other media now, so I guess i’m gonna have to dedicate a tag to “characters that remind me of my characters” or something. characters squared. fractal characters. what’s the math concept i’m thinking of.

anyway, write more fanfic guys. it’s good for your brain and helps you stay creative while you feel stuck.

anyone else find it way more entertaining to write little headcanons about your characters' childhoods pre-plot and what kind of people they were before the story than writing the actual story

people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

i'm not "undiagnosed" i'm largely headcanoned as neurodivergent but with no confirmation in canon. i hear a showrunner said something at a panel last year but it hasnt been leaked on youtube yet.

Blood test results are back. 0’s across the board, dry as a bone under the hood, they’re not sure what they’ve got in those vials but it recoils from light and lunges towards living tissue, which is all normal for girls these days.
