So, About the New Update...
Hello, lovely people!
I know that it has been a long time since I have posted, which I apologize for. University has kept me very busy!
However, today I want to try to be more active and start posting more regularly, so I thought I'd start off light, with a discussion post.
(Warning: CRK spoilers ahead!)
I am sure that most of you have seen the new update trailer and everything that entails. It seems like a pretty significant update- up until now, the St. Pastry Order has remained incredibly mysterious, and not much is known about them in terms of lore, other than what we have seen from a few key events. This update will be a good way to learn more about them.
But I have one question... WHERE. Is Pastry Cookie???
Please correct me if I'm wrong, guys, but I did not see her at all/not much. Considering that she was the main protagonist in one of the side stories for CRK, I thought that she would have more prevelance here. So I am really surprised to not see her, and kind of bummed, because one of my OCs is connected to her and I was hoping to get more Pastry Cookie lore.
But, anyways! What do you all think of the new update? I am excited to finally see the lore behind the Avatar of Destiny, I think that it will be so cool, since up until now this villain in the guild battles has largely remained a mystery.

Hey hey everyone! First off I want to apologize for being a bit more inactive, school started back and my mental energy has been focused on that. However, this weekend I have a post planned, and will post it Friday evening! Anyways, let's get to gushing about this art, as has become my tradition. This piece is by karlatinina. Genuinely, everything about it, from the muted color scheme to the way Mystic is looking directly at the viewer, to the smudges and blurred lines that give off the sense that Mystic is unraveling- this is a beautiful interpretation of her story. Genuinely. It's very haunting in the best way possible.

It has been a while since I reblogged art, so that's what I'm going to do today!
I genuinely find these pictures so adorable, they're by keterok. I never envisioned Dark Cacao with cute little ears like that- until now, and now I can't unsee it. It's awesome! This piece of art definitely made my day.

CRK OC Profile: Strawberry Marzipan Cookie (Part 2)
Hello, lovely people!
I have been feeling ill, and thus have not felt like posting- but since I have a lot of time on my hands, I figured I would do at least something. So, I thought it would be really fun to continue talking about the lore of my darling OC, Strawberry Marzipan!
If you haven't yet, please go check out my other post about her first, it has the basic information about her. You can read it here. Another important post I'd recommend (but is not required) for you to read is my precorruption headcanons for Burning Spice Cookie, which you can read here.
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
(I normally warn of Cookie Run lore spoilers... but I think this is all original material? At least the bulk of it? There's some stuff about Allspice so I guess, lore spoilers still apply here.)
Her Backstory
Born into a modest but cultured family, her earliest and fondest memories were of sitting beside her father as he played the piano and sang, his joy for music filling every corner of their home. When he passed away during a war, music became her refuge. It was a way of keeping his memory alive. Every note she sang felt like speaking to him again. This deep connection made her performances more than mere entertainment; they became offerings of love and remembrance. So, when the opportunity arose to join an opera troupe, she did. Slowly but surely, she rose to fame, and music became both her greatest joy and her career.
A Fated Encounter
One day, Strawberry Marzipan delivered much-needed supplies to a region recently devastated by conflict, soothing the souls of survivors through her music. Allspice Cookie was there as well, first to defend the region and then to aid in its rebuilding. They met during this time. At first, he was skeptical, even if he recognized her good intentions. But then he heard her sing, and it stirred emotions deep inside him that he thought had long been buried.
They began having long conversations during their time there, and after parting ways, they stayed in touch through letters and occasional meetups. Over time, they fell in love, and she eventually married him.
Their Core Dynamic
Allspice brings stability. He is a warrior-builder who refuses to let civilizations crumble without a fight. Strawberry Marzipan, on the other hand, thrives in performance, presentation, and music; her world is precise, curated, and deeply tied to identity and emotion. Where he works in broad strokes, she focuses on fine details. Where he carries the weight of kingdoms, she devotes herself to the heart of the individual.
At their core, both are perfectionists of a kind: he with duty, she with artistry. But their definitions of “enough” differ. He believes the hard, simple work sustains the world, while she believes beauty and refinement give that world meaning.
This creates a dynamic of both deep admiration and occasional conflict.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! If you have any questions about her, please ask them in the comments or send me an ask; my inbox is open, and I will answer all of them!
I have every intention of adding more to her lore tomorrow! As previously mentioned, I wanted to break up her lore into several posts because there is a lot to unpack. So the first two posts have mainly been summaries- starting tomorrow, I will be diving much deeper. I just wanted to lay the groundwork first.
---------------------
TL;DR: Strawberry Marzipan Cookie grew up with a deep love for music, inspired by her father. After losing him in a war, music became her way of keeping his memory alive, eventually leading her to fame in an opera troupe. She met Allspice Cookie while helping survivors of a war-torn region, and their bond grew into love and marriage. Their relationship balances stability and artistry. He works to protect and rebuild civilizations, while she focuses on beauty and meaning through music. They admire each other deeply but sometimes clash over their different ideas of what truly sustains the world.

Discussion Question; Minor CRK Leaks Mentioned!
Hello, lovely people!
First off, I want to apologize for not posting the last few days. I recently fell ill and have not felt up to posting what I usually do.
However, seeing as I have a lot of time on my hands because of my sickness, I would love to have a conversation in the comments section of this post and here your thoughts on a theory that has been circulating around the CRK fandom recently.
(CRK spoilers ahead!) There are some people that think, just as White Lily is fractured, Silent Salt is the same way- that he and Elder Faerie Cookie are one in the same. This comes from an image that was recently released that makes a striking parallel to book 1 of Beast Yeast and how we see Elder Faerie Cookie interacting with White Lily, shown above.
It is also interesting that a sword is both of their primary weapons. But, what do you think? Does this theory have any credibility, or is it too far-fetched in your mind? I personally am still undecided.

CRK OC Profile: Strawberry Marzipan Cookie
Hello, lovely people!
The day has finally come... the one I’ve been anticipating since I started this blog: sharing my darling OCs with you. Since she’s both my profile picture and the only CRK OC I currently have art for, it feels only right to start with this lovely lady: Strawberry Marzipan Cookie. There’s a lot to unpack with her, so I’ll likely be splitting her lore into multiple posts over the next several days. Today, I’ll be starting with the basics.
Before I dive in, I’d like to note that the reference sheet pictured above (minus the written bio) is by candy.__ on Discord/Candypopboptop on Instagram. The character and design are based on my concept, with some wonderful creative touches from her! Her art is absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
-> If you’re interested in commissioning her, she currently has emergency commissions open, and her turnaround time is usually the same day! The link to her Instagram is here!
---------------------
Her Role If She Were In the CRK Game
Battle Type: Support
Default Positioning: Rear
Where you'd find her: The Bygone Gacha, with Rememberance Cookie Cutters (made up of Cookies that are from past eras. Lord Oyster Cookie, for example, would appear here if this were a real gacha. The name for the gacha is a work in progress, but that's what I have at the moment).
Bio Text (from reference sheet): Alive during the Golden Age, she was a famed opera singer and philanthropist of Earthbread, beloved for her angelic singing voice and kind heart. Sadly, she disappeared without a trace.
Personality
Refined and warm-hearted, Strawberry Marzipan Cookie exudes poise without pretension. She adores elegance and beauty, but her deepest joy comes from using her singing voice to lift others’ spirits, whether in grand halls or war-torn streets. A touch of playful wit keeps her approachable, even to those awed by her fame.
Profession/Occupation
She is an opera singer who travels extensively, sometimes joining renowned opera troupes, other times venturing alone into distant lands. However, she is never content to simply bask in applause; her heart belongs equally to the stage and to the streets where broken societies struggle to heal after conflict. Between performances, she organizes charity concerts, raises funds, and personally delivers much-needed supplies to war-torn regions.
Strawberry Marzipan Cookie firmly believes that music is never “just” music; it should always serve a purpose, whether to comfort the grieving, rally courage in the fearful, or preserve a cherished memory. Because of this, she never sings casually or without intention. Every song carries weight for her, imbued with the emotion she feels in that moment.
-> Her voice type is a coloratura, and her (singing) voice claim can be found here!
Design Inspiration
Her design draws heavily from late Baroque aesthetics, inspired by the lavish gowns and hairstyles of Marie Antoinette and theatrical costumes such as those from "Les Indes Galantes" by Jean-Philippe Rameau.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! There will be more posts soon about Strawberry Marzipan that dive deeper into her lore and story! If you have any questions about her, please ask them in the comments or send me an ask; my inbox is open, and I will answer all of them!

Precorruption Headcanons, Part 2: Burning Spice Cookie
Hello, lovely people!
I am very excited to share my next set of headcanons! These ones are for Burning Spice Cookie. I hope that you enjoy them!
P.S.: My headcanons for Shadow Milk Cookie are here if you want to look at those, too!
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
His Name
After much consideration and thought, I decided that his pre-corruption name would be Allspice Cookie.
Allspice is most commonly used in Caribbean, Latin American, and Middle Eastern cuisines, but it is sometimes used in other regions as well, notably in America and northern India. It has a warm, sweet, and slightly peppery taste, reminiscent of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
His Job
Allspice Cookie, as the Herald of Change, had but one job: to foster, protect, and preserve the civilizations of Cookiekind.
He traveled constantly, visiting cities and kingdoms under siege or persecution, fighting for those who could not fight for themselves. When the battles were over, he stayed to help with the rebuilding: lifting stones, mending walls, and doing whatever job needed to be done. In his mind, there was no task beneath him.
He also sought out civilizations that were new and fragile, helping them grow into something sustainable. Those who served under him provided regular reports on the state of the world: which kingdoms had risen, which had fallen, and which teetered on the edge.
Even he had his limits. He could not nurture every fledgling realm, nor save every fallen one. Yet he did what he could, driven by a deep sense of duty. But the endless battles left their mark. They hardened his spirit, wore down his strength, and sometimes left him blind to the delicate nuances of peace he fought so hard to secure.
His Personality, Likes, Dislikes, and Hobbies
Allspice Cookie was vibrant and commanding, a presence impossible to ignore. Loud yet purposeful, decisive without recklessness, he faced life head-on with unflinching resolve. His boldness came not from vanity, but from a deep, hard-earned confidence shaped by countless trials. Though he could be intense, there was warmth in his nature. He relished good company, shared laughter, and the rare quiet moments between battles. Beneath the strength was a steady sense of responsibility, the quiet knowledge that when others faltered, he would stand.
He enjoyed simple pleasures: a warm, homemade curry, the glow of a campfire, and learning the customs and traditions of the nations he visited.
Cowardice, however, stirred his ire, especially when enemies relied on underhanded tactics rather than meeting him openly in battle.
In his free time, he honed practical hobbies like woodworking, stone masonry, and glassblowing, which were useful for reconstruction efforts.
His Little Secrets
When alone, he sometimes liked to dance as a form of stress relief. He was surprisingly good at it, but he never showed it to anyone. Well, almost anyone.
His favorite smells were the smells of curry, freshly cut wood... and almonds.
All of the weapons that he used in battle, such as his bow and arrows, he had a hand in making, even if he didn't fully craft it.
Because of how often he traveled for war campaigns, he made a point to stop and visit his friends, the other Primevals, when he was able to.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR: Allspice Cookie, the Herald of Change, was a bold, duty-driven protector of civilizations who fought for those who couldn’t fight for themselves. Vibrant and commanding yet warm at heart, he enjoyed simple pleasures, valued honest combat, and took pride in hands-on rebuilding. Though hardened by endless battles, he carried his responsibilities with steadfast resolve, and kept a few quiet joys and quirks all to himself.

It's time for my daily ritual again- reblogging art and saying what I love about it! This piece is by 0law.
But, if I'm honest... I don't really have any analysis for today. I think I'm genuinely at a loss for words, it's just- beautiful, and does Mystic Flour Cookie's new costume justice in the best way possible.
This is breathtaking. I don’t even know what else to say; it's such an amazing piece of art.

The Shadowed Counterpart: A Comparison of Mystic Flour and Pure Vanilla Cookie
Hello, lovely people!
Before I begin today’s post, I have a little announcement: after much consideration, I’ve decided to make this particular blog focused solely on Cookie Run content. I really enjoy what I’m building here, and, if I’m honest, I’d like to keep the tone consistent rather than juggling multiple fandoms in one place. Eventually, though, I may open another blog for one of my other favorite fandoms, Twisted Wonderland, once I get into a comfortable posting rhythm here.
Anyway! I’m so excited to create another post about my favorite Beast, Mystic Flour Cookie, alongside Pure Vanilla Cookie, who is a fascinating character in his own right. I wanted to post something different today besides my CRK AU content. This concept has been living in my head rent-free, so let’s get into it!
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
Introduction
While many fans in the Cookie Run community often compare an Ancient and their respective Beast counterpart (for example, Dark Cacao and Mystic Flour), I don’t often see much discussion about ancients and beasts who don’t share two halves of a soul jam, yet still share notable similarities or thematic parallels. That’s what I’m aiming to do today: highlight some connections I’ve noticed between Pure Vanilla Cookie and Mystic Flour Cookie.
Physical Appearances
Mystic Flour and Pure Vanilla share several striking similarities worth pointing out:
Both most often appear with their eyes closed.
When Mystic Flour is starred up to 1A and Pure Vanilla is awakened, they each have circular, radiant motifs behind their heads, resembling celestial bodies like the sun and stars.
Both have something prominent on their foreheads (Mystic Flour’s soul jam, Pure Vanilla’s distinct marking).
Gold and white are central to both of their color schemes (this is particularly true when comparing Mystic Flour to Pure Vanilla’s awakened form).
Other Notable Similarities
They are both of the Healer class and default to the rear position in-game.
Though for different reasons and motivations, both generally carry a serene, calm demeanor.
Their light motifs go beyond visuals; Pure Vanilla is described as having “a bright halo of light,” while Mystic Flour’s lore mentions her “once radiant light tarnished.”
Before Mystic Flour’s corruption, she played a role very similar to Pure Vanilla’s: both used their strong magic to help others, granting cookies’ requests and desires.
Why It Is Significant
While I can’t say for sure whether Devsisters intended these similarities, they create a compelling thematic parallel: Pure Vanilla embodies what Mystic Flour used to be, and could have remained, if she had stayed virtuous. Mystic Flour, in turn, represents what Pure Vanilla might have become if he’d allowed his suffering and burdens to harden his heart. She’s his shadowed counterpart. A dark mirror.
There’s a certain tragedy in knowing they now stand as adversaries when they once championed the same virtues and held similar roles in Earthbread’s history. Had things turned out differently, I can imagine them as the closest of friends, enjoying quiet games of Go over steaming cups of tea without a care in the world.
If the canon Cookie Run: Kingdom timeline, and by extension, “The Seeds” AU (because the timeline closely mirrors canon), didn’t make it nonsensical, I might even say they could be related. But, alas, it’s not possible.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR: Pure Vanilla and Mystic Flour Cookie share more than a few visual and thematic similarities despite not being soul jam counterparts: both were once serene healers with powerful magic used for the good of others. Pure Vanilla represents what Mystic Flour once was, while Mystic Flour reflects what Pure Vanilla could have become if he had lost his virtue.

It’s that time of day, the time for me to reblog an art piece and gush about why I love it so much! I am so, so excited to share this beautiful sketch of my favorite Beast, Mystic Flour. This wonderful piece was done by nanamiririn.
Here are just a few of the things I love about this drawing:
This might seem like an oddly specific detail, but I adore how her soul jam is drawn. It looks awesome, just like it does in-game!
I have artist friends, and they’ve told me before how difficult it is to draw hands. So I have to commend this lovely artist, the hands on Mystic Flour are genuinely amazing and so pretty.
I’m loving her facial expression and features in general. I’m not an artist, so it’s hard to explain exactly why, but it captures her canon appearance perfectly.
That’s all for now! Again, this piece is just- gorgeous.

You are so beautiful mystiflou

CRK Chronology: My AU
Hello, lovely people! Today is a busy day for me, so I decided to make another post that’s a bit on the shorter side. I wanted to drop a little more lore, specifically, the chronology of my alternate universe. I hope you enjoy learning about this as much as I enjoyed writing it!
For context, chronology simply means “the arrangement of events or dates in the order of their occurrence.” In other words, it’s the timeline of history for this AU.
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
P.S.: Want to know more about my AU? All of my total lore and headcanons so far can be found under #the seeds crk au (the first hashtag at the bottom of this post).
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
The Golden Age
The Golden Age marks the era when the precorrupted Beasts, whom I call the Primevals, helped usher in the dawn of civilization on Earthbread. They weren’t just rulers; they were visionaries who nurtured the growth of culture, knowledge, and magic. Under their guidance, cities were built, trade flourished, and unprecedented breakthroughs in both the arts and sciences transformed daily life. While no society is perfect, as conflicts and flaws still existed, this was an age of unity, prosperity, and hope, stretching across millennia.
The Sundering
The Sundering was a tragedy of ages. One by one, the Primevals fell to corruption, their wisdom twisted into hunger for destruction, transforming them into the Beasts. The harmony of the Golden Age collapsed: nations turned on each other, alliances shattered, and fear ruled the land. Even when the Witches finally sealed the Beasts away, Earthbread did not return to peace. The damage had been too great, and the scars of this age shaped the centuries to come.
The Silver Age
The Silver Age began with the rise of the Ancients. They were powerful and wise Cookies who, though unable to replicate the sheer grandeur of the Primevals, still brought stability and growth back to Earthbread. Their reign sparked another wave of invention, artistry, and magical advancement. It was a period of rebuilding, where fractured lands slowly knit themselves together again. While not perfect, it was an age that reminded Earthbread of its potential.
The Dark Flour War
The Dark Flour War was unlike anything Earthbread had seen before. Dark Enchantress Cookie emerged, and commanded hordes of relentless cake monsters. Her campaign of destruction left cities in ruins and entire regions uninhabitable. The war culminated in a desperate act: Pure Vanilla Cookie casting a powerful sealing spell that bound both himself and Dark Enchantress away. Although the immediate threat was gone, the devastation left behind would haunt the world for centuries.
The Gilded Age
The Gilded Age spans from the end of the Dark Flour War to the present day, where the main story begins. Despite the name, it is not truly “golden.” While some pockets of culture and trade still thrive, overall society has been in a slow decline. Many lands remain isolated, progress has stagnated, and the grandeur of earlier ages feels like a distant memory. Beneath the surface, tension brews, setting the stage for the events to come.
Conclusion/Final Thoughts
Though much of this draws from canon, I wanted to give each historical period a name and more defined identity. I wanted to blend familiar events and my own interpretations to weave a richer, more interconnected history.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR:
This post outlines the major historical eras of my AU’s Earthbread, each with its own tone and significance.
The Golden Age – A long era of unmatched prosperity led by the benevolent Primevals, who fostered civilization, art, science, and trade.
The Sundering – The Primevals became corrupted into Beasts, plunging the world into chaos even after the Witches sealed them away.
The Silver Age – The Ancients rose to power, bringing stability and cultural revival, though on a smaller scale than the Golden Age.
The Dark Flour War – Dark Enchantress Cookie’s destructive campaign devastated Earthbread, ending only when she and Pure Vanilla were sealed away by Pure Vanilla’s own hand.
The Gilded Age – The present era, beginning after the war’s end. Civilization persists, but it’s weaker and less vibrant than in past golden eras.

Behind the Layers: Who is Pastry Cookie?
Hello, lovely people!
Today’s post is going to be a bit shorter than my usual essay-length dives, but there’s a good reason for that. This post serves a dual purpose: it’s both an integral piece of my AU and a teaser for a future post. Depending on how you all respond, and a few other factors, this deeper post (perhaps multiple posts) will be coming your way soon.
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
P.S.: Want to know more about my AU? All of my total lore and headcanons so far can be found under #the seeds crk au (the first hashtag at the bottom of this post).
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
Let’s start with some official lore that really sets the stage:
“Pastry Cookie left her name and her past behind on the day of her Sacred Brining when she was rebaked as a devoted sister of the St. Pastry Order.” -her official in-game description.
And then there’s this:
“This stone holds a piece of Pastry Cookie's soul. Looking inside, you can distinguish many thin layers protecting the stone's core from the outside light.” -from her soul stone description.
Those words alone hold so much weight. Pastry Cookie’s identity is shrouded in mystery, but one thing stands out: she was once someone else... someone completely erased, or at least buried so deep that her former self barely exists anymore. The “Sacred Brining” didn’t just remake her physically; it wiped away her past, her name, and perhaps more- perhaps even her old memories.
But here’s where it gets interesting, and where my AU picks up: Did she really give up her old life willingly? Or was it forced upon her in a way that even she couldn’t resist? The official descriptions are cold and clinical, but the layers inside her soulstone hint at something else. Those thin, protective layers suggest that the Order went to painstaking lengths to guard not just her body, but her very soul.
What’s hidden beneath those layers? What’s the core they’re protecting so fiercely? That “something” that is hidden could be the key to understanding who Pastry Cookie really was before she became part of the Order... and what she might become again.
In my AU, this idea isn’t just a mystery to solve; it’s a thread that unravels the whole story. The question isn’t just who she was before, but what fragments of that person remain trapped inside, and how they might fight back against the Order’s control.
So, why does this matter? Because there is a reason the Order guards her soul so fiercely. There’s a hidden truth behind her transformation, one that could change everything we think we know about her, and about the Order itself.
I won’t say more just yet, but stay tuned. If enough of you are curious, I’ll be diving deep into this in an upcoming post (maybe more than one).
---------------------
Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR: Pastry Cookie’s past was erased when she joined the St. Pastry Order, but hints in her soulstone suggest her true self might still be trapped inside. There’s a deeper mystery about who she was and why the Order protects her soul so fiercely... stay tuned for a full reveal soon.

It’s time for my daily ritual: reblogging art and gushing about why I love it so much! I meant to do this yesterday, but my day was ABSOLUTELY crazy and I ended up putting all my energy into making headcanons for Shadow Milk Cookie instead. But I am determined to do it today!
This piece is by thesparkledash, and wow, I just adore it. Here are just a few reasons why, though there are many.
First off, the lighting, especially on Dark Cacao, is literally so cool. It looks uber realistic, and the whole aura surrounding him and making him glow all pretty… just makes me so happy.
I also love how Mystic Flour’s veil flows so beautifully. This might just be my interpretation, but it almost feels like it’s making a bubble around her, which reminds me of the cocoon she made. Such a cool detail!
And even though they’re different pieces, both are set in the night sky, because dusk transitions into night, and the morning dew transitions into day. It’s just… so, so, so cool.
Anyways, that’s all for today! I just love this art!

Precorruption Headcanons, Part 1: Shadow Milk Cookie
Hello, lovely people!
Today, I’m taking my CRK AU in a slightly different direction. Instead of focusing on the fall of the Beasts, I want to spend some time exploring who they were before their descent: their personalities, roles, and little quirks that bring them to life. Today, I chose Shadow Milk Cookie. This will be a four-part series, eventually five, once the official Silent Salt update drops and I have a clearer idea about his canon personality, so I’ll hold off on posting about him for now.
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
His Name
I think it’s safe to say that a large part of the fandom agrees that his old name was Blueberry Yogurt Cookie. I agree, too. It just fits too well with his character and the lore surrounding him.
His Job
As the Fount of Knowledge, I imagine his duties were split into two major parts: collecting and preserving knowledge, and teaching it.
The canon game says he was all-knowing (except for what the witches kept from him, in my alternate universe), but obviously, no one else could be that way because they weren’t created for it. So, a big part of his job would be to gather as much knowledge as possible to benefit Earthbread. He likely had a large group of disciples (scholars and archivists) who searched the far reaches of the world for lost or forbidden knowledge. They would bring back scrolls, artifacts, and information to be refined and preserved in the grand library at the Spire of All Knowledge.
This library, I imagine, was the largest in all of Earthbread, open to everyone. Any cookie seeking to learn could come and study there. It functioned similarly to the famed Library of Alexandria in our world; an open center of learning, wisdom, and discovery. Blueberry Yogurt Cookie believed that knowledge was power and that it should never be restricted. He welcomed all visitors regardless of their social standing, gender, nationality, or any other divisions that often influence access in other cultures.
The second part of his role was teaching. His lectures were renowned and traveled across Earthbread. Many cookies would make pilgrimages just to hear him speak. But he also frequently traveled himself, visiting towns and cities to make knowledge accessible. Despite his lofty title, his teachings were straightforward and easy to understand, even for those less educated. His goal was clear: no gatekeeping. Learning should be open to everyone.
The Blueberry Yogurt Academy
Though Blueberry Yogurt Cookie was deeply committed to making knowledge accessible to all, he held a special place in his heart for the children and young cookies who represented the future of Earthbread. The Blueberry Yogurt Academy was born from this twofold desire: to offer opportunities to cookies who might never have had a chance otherwise, and to gather the most talented and promising young minds in one place where he could nurture their potential. Though magic was the main thing taught at the academy, the curriculum at the academy was broad and comprehensive. His vision was to cultivate the next generation of artists, wizards, mathematicians, scholars, and leaders who would carry Earthbread forward. But more than that, Blueberry Yogurt Cookie wanted his students to be well-rounded individuals, capable of thinking critically and creatively.
He firmly believed that a society could only be as strong as its education system. To him, investing in education was investing in the future. Because of this, tuition was intentionally kept very low, ensuring that financial barriers wouldn’t prevent eager learners from attending. Additionally, each year, he awarded a number of scholarships to gifted cookies who lacked the means to pay.
He appointed a trusted disciple as headmaster, someone loyal and wise who could uphold the academy’s values and care for the students. However, a terrible magical accident resulted in the opening of a dangerous dimensional portal within the school grounds. The responsibilities of the headmage expanded dramatically as a result; beyond educating and mentoring, they now had to safeguard the students from the dangers lurking on the other side of that portal.
His Personality, Likes, Dislikes, and Hobbies
I picture Blueberry Yogurt Cookie much like his Sage of Truth costume suggests: charismatic, mysterious, and benevolent, but with a playful streak of mischief beneath it all.
Though he had a deep love for all forms of knowledge, he was especially fond of the performing arts: music, dance, theatre, and other creative expressions. He often attended concerts, exhibitions, and plays simply for the joy of experiencing art. He was also a fan of good debates, not to prove superiority, but because he genuinely loved hearing different perspectives and sharpening his own understanding.
One thing he strongly disliked was anyone who weaponized knowledge and used it to elevate themselves above others or dismiss those with less education. He believed learning was a lifelong journey and that no one ever truly finished learning.
For hobbies, he enjoyed making puppets, writing plays, and pressing flowers inside his favorite books.
His Little Secrets
Nothing delighted him more than a fine cup of tea. He sampled many varieties from all over Earthbread and considered himself quite the connoisseur.
His personal scent was a unique blend of blueberries, the comforting aroma of old parchment and books, and a faintly sweet undertone reminiscent of quill ink.
Whenever the pressure of his duties felt overwhelming, he would climb to the tallest point of the Spire of All Knowledge, look up at the stars, and find a moment of peace and perspective.
Over the millennia, he maintained regular correspondence with the other (eventual) Beasts. He kept every letter they sent him carefully stored in a special chest in his room. He only read these letters when he needed encouragement, using their words to steady his resolve during dark times.

TL;DR: Blueberry Yogurt Cookie, the Fount of Knowledge, was a charismatic and benevolent scholar who founded the Blueberry Yogurt Academy and ran the largest public library in Earthbread. He valued open access to knowledge, loved the arts, and kept close ties with the other Beasts. He balanced his heavy duties with simple pleasures like tea, puppetry, and stargazing.

Following the Leader: How Shadow Milk Cookie Led the Beasts to Ruin
Hello, lovely people! (I sense a catchphrase in the making; this is the third post I’ve opened with this…)
It’ll probably be a while before the multifandom part of my blog bio becomes true... I’m very invested right now in posting lore about my AU! I’m really excited to keep sharing my creative musings with you all.
Let’s begin.
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
P.S., if you're new here and are confused by what I've written below, check out The Seeds: A CRK AU to get context on the core concept of this alternate universe!
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
Introduction
We all know the saying, “follow the leader.” It’s a game, a song, and a concept that shows up everywhere: in nature, in art, and in stories throughout time. Where the leader goes, those under their influence often follow. So let’s apply that to my alternate universe.
Canon Analysis
From the visuals and narrative hints in CRK alone, it’s clear that Shadow Milk Cookie is the leader of the Beasts, much like Pure Vanilla Cookie is the leader of the Ancients. There are strong parallels here: both are the first of their kind to appear in-game (Pure Vanilla in the early Crispia chapters, Shadow Milk in the first chapter of Beast Yeast), and both stand at the center of their group’s gacha animation. Symbolically and visually, the message is clear: they are the hearts of their respective circles.
Leaders have tremendous power, not just in ability, but in influence. When Pure Vanilla recovered from his amnesia, the other Ancients soon rallied behind him and found renewed purpose, even though he wasn’t physically with them the entire time. Why wouldn’t the same logic apply to Shadow Milk Cookie? This is a truth the witches knew all too well.
Blueberry Yogurt's Fall
Blueberry Yogurt Cookie, the name many of us in the fandom use for Shadow Milk in his pre-corruption era, was likely the guiding voice of the Beasts. Wise, slightly mischievous, and charismatic, he was probably the one the others turned to for support when times were hard. He held them together. And that’s exactly why, for the witches’ plan to work, he had to fall first. Because if the leader fell… the others would follow. His descent would light the path to ruin for the rest.
When Blueberry Yogurt Cookie’s seed reached maturity and he became the Beast of Deceit, his lies poisoned not only minds, but the very fabric of Earthbread. His influence spread like rot, corrupting beliefs, twisting trust, and shattering hope. And, more importantly, the anchor that held up the morale of the other four Beasts was gone.
The Domino Effect
In Mystic Flour Cookie’s backstory, we see that the ones who attacked her Pagoda and harmed her disciples were acting on rumors, not truth. But not just any rumors. Shadow Milk Cookie’s rumors. His descent was so deep that he chose to spread falsehoods, even when it put his friends in danger.
This spiral of deception played a role in the unrest seen elsewhere. Distrust leads to confusion. Confusion breeds fear, and fear breeds destruction. The fallen civilizations in Burning Spice Cookie’s backstory and the grief of the cookies in Eternal Sugar’s story may not explicitly mention lies, but the suffering is there. Shadow Milk’s descent into deceit set off a domino effect that made it all possible. It created new problems, and amplified the ones that already existed.
And that, of course, was exactly what the witches wanted.
(I will update this post whenever Silent Salt's backstory is shown, and tie in his story to this alternate universe, as well.)

Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR: In my AU, Shadow Milk Cookie (precorruption: Blueberry Yogurt) was the leader and emotional anchor of the Beasts, much like Pure Vanilla is for the Ancients. The witches targeted him first because his fall would cause a chain reaction. As the Beast of Deceit, his lies destabilized Earthbread and helped trigger the downfall of other Beasts and civilizations. His corruption was the first domino, and exactly what the witches intended.

Okay, time for what I think is becoming my daily ritual: reblogging art and gushing about why I love it so much. Today’s pieces are by sillyloyie.
Here’s what I adore about these:
The variety of expressions. I love seeing the range of emotions Eternal Sugar shows; they’re delightful!
The first piece, the one that looks like a painting, is stunning. The colors, the shading, the detail… she looks divine.
The second art piece honestly gave me chills. It captures her more sinister side perfectly. The reaching hands, in particular, are my favorite part, I love how they're outstretched towards the viewer.
Thus ends my little rant. I adore these pieces so much!

The Seeds: A CRK AU
Hello, lovely people!
Since this is officially my second day on Tumblr, I thought I’d keep up the momentum and dive back into Cookie Run: Kingdom, specifically, to introduce the core ideas of my alternate universe: what makes it different from canon, and why I think it matters. So let’s get into it!
-> TL;DR at the bottom of this post
(Warning: CRK lore spoilers ahead!)
Introduction
This AU, like many in the fandom, centers around the Beasts, and more specifically, what the witches did to them.
I don’t believe all witches in the CRK world are cruel. Characters in other Cookie Run games seem to suggest otherwise. However, in CRK, we do see multiple witches laughing and sneering as they eat Cookies, and even rebaking White Lily Cookie purely for the twisted thrill of it. So I think it’s fair to assume that a large number of them are, at best, selfish and crude, and at worst, outright evil. But even then, I don’t think they’re stupid. At least not the ones who created the Beasts... and later, the Ancients.
And that’s where my AU begins.
The Witches' Plan
When the witches made the Beasts, they weren’t reckless. These Cookies were the most powerful creations they had ever crafted. Think about it: the Beasts are already catastrophic with only half of their Soul Jam... imagine them at full power.
The witches wanted to ensure their rule. Their creations could never become so strong that they might rebel, or worse, discover the true nature of their creators: that they are not benevolent at all, but cruel and twisted beings, watching Earthbread like some kind of magical Hunger Games. That knowledge had to be kept from the Beasts at all costs. Because the Beasts held massive power, prestige, and influence across Earthbread. If they turned against their creators, it would spark a worldwide rebellion. The witches might still win (we don’t know the limits of their power in-game), but it would cause them serious trouble regardless.
So the witches created a failsafe. A leash. I call them: Seeds of Darkness.
These are small things planted in the souls of the Beasts, lying dormant like real seeds do, until the right conditions awaken them. And like real seeds, they can stay dormant for a very long time. But their purpose is simple:
If a Beast ever becomes too powerful, too influential, or starts uncovering knowledge the witches don’t want known, these Seeds will activate. It would be a slow but potent process. Seeds take time to grow, and so would these. But eventually, Earthbread’s greatest heroes would be turned into villains before the world's eyes. Their soul jams would be corrupted by darkness. The general population would have no idea what truly happened.
The witches would then seal the Beasts and frame themselves as saviors. Then they would weaken the Beasts, stripping them of half their Soul Jam, and create a new army in their image: the Ancients, more obedient and less aware of forbidden truths.
The Hidden Truth (& Conclusion)
That’s the key to this AU. Not the public, not the Ancients, and not even the Beasts themselves understand that their downfall was orchestrated by outside hands.
To me, this feels plausible because even now, almost no one in CRK knows the truth about the witches, not even the Ancients, except maybe White Lily. It’s Earthbread’s best-kept secret. And I believe the smarter witches would go to any length to keep it that way.
The St. Pastry Order also seems deeply invested in keeping up appearances. They work too hard to maintain the image of control and sanctity. I’ve always felt like they and the witches must be hiding more about the Beasts. Why should we trust them?
And that’s how this AU took root (pun absolutely intended).
More is coming soon: subplots, individual roles for each Beast, CRK OCs, and more. I just wanted to start with the core concept as a warm-up.
---------------------
Thanks for reading! I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions.
---------------------
TL;DR: This AU explores the idea that the Beasts were never meant to last. The witches created them with a failsafe: “Seeds of Darkness” that would activate if they grew too powerful or discovered forbidden truths. Their downfall was orchestrated by the witches to maintain control, and no one, not even the Ancients, realizes it.
