If I see one single fanfic writer using Joe’s cancer as a fucking story prompt, I swear to God, I’m going to report/block. That shit is gross and it’s goddamn unacceptable.
JOE IS THE ONE FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE. ROMAN DOESN’T EXIST. ROMAN IS A FICTITIOUS CHARACTER. JOE ANOA’I IS A VERY REAL HUMAN PERSON AND TO WRITE ABOUT THIS IS A HUGE INVASION OF HIS PRIVACY. NOT TO MENTION FUCKING SICK.
It’s already bad enough we have writers on here and on fanfiction forums who write as if they know the person behind the character in real life and bring up their personal business (marriages/spouses/kids, divorces/legal troubles) for fic fodder and the like, but this is just..
