I explored the night watch by Rembrandt, emphasising firefighters in my study. As I was looking through an art book on famous paintings for a piece to analyise, I considered this. I decided to add my personal touch to the classic piece.

As a university foundation year project, I wrote and illustrated a children's storybook about Lilly, a brave lifeboat, and her friends. The story follows the adventures of Lilly the Lifeboat and the other boats.
