Sorry for my absence. I really hate to write this but I really don’t have time to moderate this roleplay anymore.
I apologize if anyone feels their time has been wasted - I really do. Maybe someday there will be a more opportune time for me to continue this group but I just don’t have the expendable time right now.
I hope you all understand.

ACCEPTED -  Welcome Ada to the group as Kavita Martell, THE CORSAIR QUEEN. Our follow list has been updated. See Ada’s awesome application below!
CHARACTER TITLE: the corsair queen
CHARACTER NAME: kavita martell
FACE CLAIM: lashana lynch
DIRECTION:
i. Kavita has lost hope of returning home long ago but with the marriage to the Sun Prince, her hope of having her feet rest in the sand has made it’s way back into her mind. There is just one problem though, the home that she remembers so fondly may not even be there and that little thought could be a major reason why she will never return home. The fear that what she left behind has vanished is too great. The island may be the place she grew up in but it can never truly be home again. Her memory of the island has been failing throughout her years and what she does remember may be lost forever. I would really love to explore more of this conflict between wanting to return home and fearing that the place she knows is lost. There are too many variables in play that going back to her homeland just may not be possible, especially now that her heart has found a new place to lie.
ii. Her past is something that she never once has been ashamed for. Everything Kavita did was for her survival but when the time came and she had to face her crimes, she did it with her head held high. Kavita is not the kind of person to beg for forgiveness but rather to face the consequences of her actions with pride. Imagine her surprise when she wasn’t given the noose but instead her inheritage was brought into the light and she was treated as a princess, something she once forgotten. She’s in the middle of who she once was - a princess - and who she had to become in order to survive. There are two sides of her that constantly argue, one saying that’s not very lady-like and the other claiming she should do more.
iii. The one trait that could really be used to describe Kavita is adaptable. She knew she couldn’t return to Jhala, so she found herself learning the traits of thieves, murderers, and sailors. She did what she had to do in order to survive and if that meant committing a few crimes then so be it. There are a few things that she may have done differently but now, the past is the past and her actions will be something she will always defend. At least there is one lesson she learned through all of this; sailing. While she may be trapped on the streets or in a castle, Kavita will always find her way back to the sea. The sea is a part of her and it’s one part that she doesn’t ever want to lose. With the marriage, she spends plenty of time in the waters, creating and building the naval force that will strike fear in all their enemies hearts. I would love to see more about how she goes about doing so and the success (or failure) the naval force may have.
HISTORY:
i. She was so young, so foolish once. Kavita thought the world couldn’t touch her family but she didn’t know about the war that was outside her window, the war that would soon tear herself away from her home and lose sight of family members. Kavita was once naive but when she walked out her door for the last time, the naive part of her died alongside the good memories she had. How she found herself on the sea is something she doesn’t know, but she can remember the days spent out there alone - the hunger she felt, the way the sun was beaming down on her, the loneliness and the fear. The fear wouldn’t go away, not even after she found herself on the Stepstones. Stealing was the first thing she would learn how to do. With so little to eat in those passing days, it was a necessary.
ii. The young princess wandered these islands for quite some time before one group of pirates would take her in and teach her everything they knew. Sailing was by far the hardest she had to learn, stealing would a typical event of the day and selling, well she was a natural. Her ambition began to rise as she wanted to control her own ship, sail into storms that no one would ever dare. That day would soon come and she spent quite a few years in command. However, she grew too cocky, believing once more that she was untouchable, and that would be her downfall. Her head rose high as the guard escorted her before the prince and she was ready to meet her end.
iii. Yet that would never happen. How her past life, her inheritable, was brought to the Sun Prince’s attention is unknown. Surely she didn’t look like the little girl who fled her home all those years ago but regardless, the death sentence was taken off the tables and instead she was given a warm meal, a place to sleep and clothes that she would have stolen and sold if given the chance. The kindness that was shown to her was something she seemed to have forgotten and was meant with suspicion on what the Sun Prince really wanted from her, the answer to that would soon come. Marriage came into question and not taking his hand wouldn’t be very beneficial for her. The money that the Martell’s had was enough to build a naval force, small but with her help, strong. She could take this force and fight for Jhala, fight for her home. Once her homeland came into play, she would have gladly done anything for the Prince.
iv. She spends her days building this naval force, helping it become something great, something that their enemies will fear. Anytime she has free, she’ll sail herself. The idea of going home should excite her, and it really does, but the home that she spent such a short period of her time at seems to escape her memory. And how would she feel about leaving the Sun Prince behind? True, their marriage didn’t begin to love but those feelings soon came. For now, she’s putting aside the idea of truly returning to her home and focusing more on driving the naval force forward.

At its apex Valyria was the greatest city in the known world, the center of civilization. Within its shining walls, twoscore rival houses vied for power and glory in court and council, rising and falling in an endless, subtle, oftsavage struggle for dominance.

ACCEPTED -  Welcome Charlotte to the group as Elaena Tyrell, THE FLOWER MAID. Our follow list has been updated. See Charlotte’s awesome application below!
CHARACTER TITLE: The Flower Maid CHARACTER NAME: Elaena Tyrell FACE CLAIM: Adelaide Kane
DIRECTION: i.There are more soft petals than thorns on Elaena, but there will always be a sharpness within her. Using her image to her advantage, Elaena has managed to go unseen and therefore is a powerful tool for the Tyrell’s to utilise. She’s reliant on her siblings, when it comes to their strength. I would love the see her finding her own feet more. After all, experiences can so easily change a person. Morals can be thrown into question. ii. Elaena has always dreamed of a better world, a kinder world. She’s given since a young age for two reasons, the first being that she genuinely cares for the poor and the second was for the way it made her look. She’s always understood the power of image and whilst she does not have to falsify her kindness and gentility, Elaena is certainly aware of the upper hand it gives her in court. I see her bolstering her image more, the older that she grows. iii. Her advantageous father would see her marry for the glory of House Tyrell. Pressure for her to interact with the Prince is constant, but she feigns shyness before her father. Her beauty is renowned and so is her grace and gentility, her father reckons that it makes her a desirable mule. So she looks to subtly quiz them on their nature and views. iv. Loyalty between siblings has been uncontested, Elaena being the dutiful informant who keeps the remaining Tyrell’s in the loop. And whilst Elaena loves her brother, it’s her sister who she seeks council from and even learns the ways of. Some of that thorniness lives within Elaena, which has made her stronger. There may come a time when she’s torn between protecting her friends ( Targaryens ) and giving her family information. I would like to see he inner turmoil there.
HISTORY: There was no question of beauty, the moment Elaena Tyrell was brought into the world. Birthed with gentility in her bones, her smiles spreading over features like the opening of flower buds, she was nurtured, her petite body clutched to her mother - who was enchanted by her youngest. The child who never whined. It was said when she was a child that people had made guesses about how she might turn out, if her sweet nature would remain or if she would transform into a dark orchid, to be devoured by the sins of their world. But such things were worlds away, with her safe in the sanctuary of Highgarden. With golden roses entwined within the raven strands of her hair, she grew, sauntering around the white stone with a spring in her light step. She often stepped outside of the luxury she was granted, to give aid to the poor who suffered so dearly. It pained her to see them starve, to see children so bereft of anything good - so she gave them food, shelter, wooden toys to keep them entertained. Elaena loved to teach the young girls how to dance, and tell tales of brave knights which would have the young boys and girls squealing. What people failed to discover was the steel thorns beneath her silken petals, that hidden agenda which ticked away. People dismissed her as a gentle fool, without cleverness or wit. But in truth, her words could be as every bit measured as The Cunning Lioness. However, she would always have more love in her heart. The common people cared for her because she gave them her love, her friends cherished her because she nurtured them. Her cleverness was recognised only by her siblings, who used her charm and pragmatism to ensnare others. The Tyrell’s were the wealth of the kingdom, but not the power - they wanted both. So she did her part dutifully, arriving in King’s Landing with a perfumed cloth pressed to her nose. The stench was ghastly, but she quickly shunned the sweet scent which provided her with a mask, to descend from the carriage and visit the hovels of flea bottom. She charmed them, using her talents in the Highgarden to her advantage in the capital of Westeros. The only thing she was disappointed about was the scenery, in Highgarden she painted often, but the landscapes were far more enchanting than that of Kings landing In the princess’s service, she found herself coveted by many. But she cherished the company of the Targaryen, admiring her gentility in a world which made so many little girls cruel. For the first time she admired someone other than her older sister, finding comfort in the violet eyed princess. Given the state of court, with the Mad King losing grip of reality, it was a relief that there were still Targaryens left to believe in.

alternatives for the cripple?
I would say Hugh Dancy, Max Irons, Rupert Friend, or even Peter Mooney would all be acceptable alternatives.

You mentioned in response to an ask somewhere about doing a page for relationships or households? Could you include marriages and stuff in that as well?
I most certainly will - this would be implemented into our houses page.
