If you're selected as a contributor, but every song option you wrote down has been taken, you'll be able to join either of the remaining categories!

What happens if I change my idea and require a spread instead of single page or vice versa? Depending on my song choice I think it might be better to do a spread, but I won't know my song until later.

Page formats cannot be upgraded to spreads, as we have a limited number of spreads available. Spreads may be able to downgrade to pages if we're notified with enough time, but it is not a guarantee.

We ask applicants to carefully consider which format they'll work with, and are confident they can finish their pieces in.

Question about the song category: do the songs need to have a love theme or is it any vocaloid/voice synth song?

Songs must include love themes, that being romantic, platonic, familial, etc. in either positive or negative connotations (i.e. heartbreak, toxic relationship, and others).

when you say "in charge of illustrations for our social media posts" for the art mod, what does that look like? would we have to make the graphics from scratch, or would we be drawing character(s) to be inserted into a graphic template (like the silhouette in the current graphics), or something else?

related, is the ability to make these illustrations something you will be looking for in art mod portfolios? if accepted, how long would we have to make these illustrations? unrelated, when do mod apps close/results sent out?

You would be drawing the project mascot (a VOCALOID) into pre-made graphics. These graphics are related to project announcements, such as announcing when contributor applications open/close, results being sent via email, etc. Portfolios help us get a feel of your style! Since we are looking for single character illustrations that aren't too complex (chibis included), you'll have ~2 weeks to make the assets. We're closing mod applications July 15th, however, if we are missing high priority roles (specially Graphics & Formatting Mod) we'll extend applications for these roles to the end of the month. If you apply before the 15th, you can expect your result by the 18th at the latest.
