Iranian-American Youth want a Free Iran

We the Iranian American youth also support the strong speech of Secretary Pompeo at the Reagan Library on July 22 in favor of the Iranian people and against the brutal regime of Iran.

Secretary Pompeo rightly mentioned that “A third of Iran's youth are unemployed. A third of Iranians live below the poverty line. But if you’re a politically-connected member of the regime's elite, the Iranian economy is going great.”

He also concluded, "After 40 years of tyranny, the proud Iranian people are not staying silent about their government's abuses. We will not stay silent either."

Secretary Pompeo condemned the Iranian regime for HR abuses, astronomical theft, terrorism & bombings.

As the Iranian American youth, we dream of a Free and democratic Iran without the ruling mullahs and the practice of Mrs. Rajavi’s 10-point plan. We dream of an Iran with gender equality and freedom of speech. We dream of an Iran, where everyone can practice their own religion and ethnicity. We dream of an Iran where there will be no more executions, imprisonment and torture. And an Iran free of nuclear bomb.

We demand our government and the State Department to acknowledge the National Council of Resistance of Iran as the only true Alternative to the mullahs’ dictatorship ruling Iran.

And our message to the people in Iran, the youth in particular is that We Stand With You In Your Struggle For Freedom.

We Miss You Neda Hassani

The Iranian American youth honor the 15th anniversary of slain Neda Hassani, who was among our generation and sacrificed her life for the people of her country.

A day before she set herself on fire in protest to the arrest of more than 150 members of the Iranian Opposition and its leader, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, on June 17, 2003, she was interviewed by a TV crew and said: "Our life is dedicated to the resistance ... that will return democracy and liberty to our country."

On the anniversary of this day, on July 1, 2006, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi brings her to memory and said: “…Hail to my dearest sisters, Sedigheh Mojaveri and Neda Hassani, who are eternal as long as humanity and freedom reign”.

Neda Hassani was a Canadian computer science student who loved playing volleyball and listening to classical music. She was only 26 years old when she died.

To you Neda, “We know you’d be with us today if heaven wasn’t so far away”
