Explaining what the Void is

The Void is a man-made fungus-like organism. Its whole goal is to spread itself as much as possible. It's not conscious like we, as humans, are (meaning it's not as aware of its existence as we are) but it is aware of what it's doing and of its surroundings and is incredibly smart

It can spread itself to any material. It spreads by replacing the material with itself and holds the object's form as well as altering it to fit its needs (ex: will sprout claws, wings, etc.)

It won't immediately infect the individual. It'll sometimes latch into the organism to see its life and see if they're useful to help it spread. But other times, it'll just infect them straight away cause it can see they're strong, powerful, smart, etc. Though if it thinks they're worthless, it'll completely take them over and fuse it with the main glop, never to be seen again

It feeds off organisms' nutrients, hence why it can't just spread willy-nilly. If it sits on a rock, it can't spread much. If it sits on a tree, it can spread since the tree is alive. The only exception is it can spread on silicate rocks since they have nutrients

When it infects a living thing, it takes over their mind and forces them to do its bidding and help spread it faster

There is no weakness, you cannot dtop it. If it's been spotted in your dimension, GET OUT. You will not survive, no amount of main character luck can save you if you get infected. It moves fast when it wants to and could completely infect an elephant in 5 seconds if it wanted to

The only way you can "save" yourself is via amputation. Ex: If it's on your arm and isn't moving, you can cut off your arm to stop it from spreading (see image below)

But remember, it's aware of its surroundings and will know if you try. Even after that, you better fucking run, cause it's on your arm (part of a living creature) and will jump on you to infect you again (yes, it can jump/leap onto things (see gif before)

But yeah that's the Void simply summed up. Will answer questions if needed ^^
