Up against the wall, Vox's fingers intertwined with Alastor's, digital lips latched onto the skin of the other's neck. Tiny shocks of electricity against fur and skin, giving a light, pleasant jolt. Sliding his tongue over the spots to soothe it over.

Grinning, he tilted his screen to glance at the other's reaction.

"Damn, you're so cute~" He spoke with a low growl. "What do you say we take this a little bit further?"

@rradiio sent; What is left for him is a bouquet of roses tied with a red ribbon that bore an ' A ' on it, for his birthday - secretly from Alastor

It was no secret that the A represented Alastor. Only a few close people knew that roses were a favorite of his. And the other two names started with the letter 'V'. Besides, he was smart enough to know that things between them have been messy since the last time they saw each other. When he had helped him out with that situation.

As he took the roses, a mixture of irritation and peace filled him. A heavy pang in his heart that pulled him in multiple directions. Delusion, confusion, a sense of dread. So much happened inside of him as he took the nearest vase to place the flowers in.

Circuits began to roar inside, not computing what this even meant. He felt like he was being played with and, yet, he also felt as if Alastor was being nice. Remembering his birthday. Even after things between them didn't last as long as either had hoped.

With the flowers on display, he took a step back and sighed. "Damnit." He was yearning and when that happened, it never ended well for him.

@rradiio sent; " It's.... your bi... birthday! " 2p! Alastor appeared handing him several boxes, even more boxes, all gifts of expensive things he got him. And a giant shark plushie.

The other randomly appearing out of nowhere wasn't any surprise to Vox anymore. He already knew their little game. The stalker stalking the stalker. The obsessed obsessing over the obsessed. They were a match made in Hell that way. And he reveled in it.

So when he noticed the several boxes and giant shark plushie, he went to help out with the boxes. Setting them down onto the nearest surface. Later, he would open them to find an array of all his favorite things. Right now, he had something else in mind.

"You really went all out for me," Slowly arms wrapped around the cold frame of his waist, pulling closer. "I think I should give something in return, don't you think?"

And with words trailing off into almost a whisper, he leaned in close, screen tilted off to the side, until his digital lips pressed against that cheek. Soft and appreciative. Giving a lick to the skin so that the other could feel something other than a screen pressed to the side of his face.

When he pulled back, he brushed the back of his knuckles against the spot where he kissed. "Stay, let's order something good and enjoy each other's company all night."

"I'm not jumpy, I'm on guard ---- I'm not saying you are like this, but our other selves could easily outnumber us and tear us down to be the one true Vox. And I'd rather not have any sort of uprising jeopardizing my brand."

Ruby had two presents in her hands that were wrapped. One was a 1950s watch that was red and blue. The second was a scarf that was blue with hint of red lines that she knitted herself. She placed the presents on his desk wanting to surprise him, but when she turned around her eyes widened and she froze.

Standing in the doorway, suspicion washed over as he witnessed Ruby at his desk. What the fuck was she doing? That was his private property. He trusted her, to an extent --- as with anyone else --- but he couldn't shake the feeling. That she was up to something.

Stepping closer, he caught her gaze. Noticing the way she froze. He proceeded to walk closer. Now seeing what she left on his desk. Two wrapped presents.

Right, it was his birthday. And he told her that it was.

"Sneaky gal," He teased, walking past her to sit at his chair. "Let's see what you got me."

Opening the first present, seeing the vintage watch, his digital eyes flashed some kind of emotion despite his facial features remaining neutral. Something hidden, but he wouldn't let it show. It would be only for him to know.

Now onto the second, his gaze lit up at the scarf. "Oh, isn't this precious," He immediately spun the fabric around his neck to wear. "And it looks so good on me. Thanks, Ruby. You've made my day."
