Omegaverse AU One-shot Shining Armor x Cadance

Warning: Enigma x Alpha relationship, suggestive but not explicit topic.

Cadance looked with slight pride and satisfaction at the mark she was seeing on the back of Shining's neck, her alpha, and honestly, it took all her self-control not to lunge at him again and mark him again.

Enigmas don't usually have destinies. Her aunt had once told her that while they were both sitting on thrones at a Hearts and hooves Day event, Cadance had countered that maybe she had one since she was originally a dominant omega, and her aunt had simply said, fueling her anxiety about being alone.

However, since she met Shining Armor, she knew they were destined. She didn't know if it was because she was the princess of love, or if it was the trace of her omega spirit, her fondness for alphas, or destiny itself. But ever since her eyes fell on him and saw him with his books and papers that he used to play "Hocus Pocus: The Reunion," she knew he was what she wanted.

A person who has everything it takes to be an idiot and squandered every opportunity to be one, and Cadance couldn't help but fall for him.

She couldn't say it was easy. There were some obstacles, mainly hers and the doubt of what would happen if Shining discovered exactly what it meant to be an enigma. She even made an exaggerated wedding dress and dragged Cadance's reputation to the ground and laid hands on her beloved… well, actually, she was just mad at Chrysalys for laying hands on Shining, since that experience without love magic had made her realize how useless her enigma and alicorn status could be.

She ignored her subgenre's complaints and continued watching Shining asleep, having to look away or she'd bite him on the neck.

With a sigh of surrender, she used her magic to bring a handheld mirror she had in her purse to try to look at the mark on her own neck. They had bonded yesterday, both marking each other as a sign that they belonged together, not a unilateral bite from an alpha claiming an omega. A carefully planned mark in a place where it would be possible to cover it and not make them uncomfortable.

This wasn't because they were ashamed of their love, it was to prevent some busybody from butting in where it didn't concern them and asking why they bit each other. At no point did Shining Armor have to mark Cadance, she remembered her aunt saying that enigmas shouldn't let anyone subdue them (that day was the first day she'd felt her aunt Celestia was so distant), but she wanted to show him how important he was to her and how much she trusted him. She knew the alpha of Shining needed that.

Cadence ignored her enigma complaining when she let Shining claim her as his own. After all, sometimes it was important to lose your pride, especially for the person you love. Speaking of the person you love, she felt her alpha stir, and her amethyst eyes fixed on him as she watched him stretch, enjoying her mate's naked form and the few marks left behind from the post-branding celebration far more than she'd admit to a private individual.

"Well, it's better to be next to you." She resisted any intrusive thoughts as she placed a hand on his cheek and gently kissed his nose. He ran a hand around her waist to pull her into a hug, his body warmth seeping through her skin even through her nightgown. (Cadance slept in her nightgown; a series of events had made her realize she definitely should.)

"I'd have to say that," he said, resting his head on the enigma's chest. "What do you want for breakfast, darling?"

In fact, Cadance was hungry, though, and she couldn't help but say tentatively, just to test the waters. "You?" Shining's surprised look pleased her.

"Are you serious, Cadance?" The disbelief on his face was better than she'd thought; after all, it was just a comment for fun. However…

"Well, what do you think, dear?" She kept her gaze tugged at him, tugging at the hem of her nightgown, his attentive gaze, which seemed to have a million conflicting thoughts.

Which was only fair; they'd stayed up quite late fulfilling the new marital duties they'd obviously begun to fulfill before getting married, and that's why he'd said it. Presentation of my AU omegaverse in the universe of My little pony

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I hope you find it interesting.

I come to propose my construction of the world of Equestria in the context of omegaverse.

The main clarification will be that they have humanoid appearances, what differentiates them from humans is that their skin and hair colors are maintained and that they continue to be divided into the species of pegasi, unicorns and earthlings but these people have their magical extra-human characteristics: the pegasi have wings that when they reach a certain age they can completely store them making marks appear on their backs in representation of these, unicorns have small marks on their wrists that have figures that represent them and earthlings have broader shoulders than the other species.

With this clear I will begin with the explanation

I will start with the basics, the world is made up of three main subgenres which are the alphas, omegas and betas. In addition to these there are the subgenres enigma and zeta, but these are very rare cases

The three genders are quite common in this world, the power scales are exercised here according to their magic or social class.

All people can use magic regardless of their subgender, but the pheromones of these can be affected by the use of magic.

Specifications of the three main subgenders:

Alphas: taller and stronger by nature, their pheromones tend to be strong smells that generate a feeling of protection, normal alphas can subdue normal omegas through their pheromones but these alphas can be subdued to other categories such as dominants or enigmas. They are recognized at a glance by the sharp eyes they have. Under normal conditions they cannot become pregnant regardless of the main gender.

Betas: Their appearance depends on the main genetics of their parents, their pheromones are very weak and only their partner feels them if they mark them for a bond (this mark can be produced by an omega or alpha), these usually have subtle smells. Their eyes differentiate them from omegas and alphas because they are normally almond-shaped eyes and of the three genders they are the ones with the best common sense because they are not influenced by instincts.

Omegas: Thin by nature, their sweet and warm pheromones generate comfort, their pheromones usually seduce or make the alphas become stunned by these and in turn the omegas can be subdued by the alpha pheromones or those of the dominants making them become stunned. They are recognized at first sight by their large eyes. Under normal conditions they can become pregnant regardless of the main gender.

Subcategories of the three main genders:

Dominant: Alphas and Omegas in this category have very strong pheromones that are often intertwined with strong behaviors, they can dominate their own gender and the opposite gender. Normally, those in this category do not usually get together because their pheromones often clash as well as their temperaments and they tend to be more alert with other dominants around.

Recessive: Their pheromones are weak and at first glance they can be confused with betas, only their physical features give them away. Their fertility level is affected by this condition.

Marks

Omegas and Alphas can mark their partners, it is more common for Alphas to do so, however, if an Omega has a Beta partner or is a dominant Omega, their mark has the same effect as that of an Alpha. It doesn't have to be a mark on the neck, just the will of the one who bites and that the pheromones of the other don't reject it (In the case that they want to force a mark on someone who is already marked)

The effect of this is to make the couple have a connection with their partner, being able to feel the emotional state of this one, also that those who can perceive pheromones feel natural rejection of these people due to the mark and it also generates a need that if any of these people goes into heat in their rut they can only handle it with their partner and this mark sends a need to the couple to want to be with their partner.

To break a couple's mark, the will of both people is needed to undo the link and they can't mark someone else if there is already a link created and still in force.

Heat or Rut

Although people normally do not go through their heat because suppressants are easy to get thanks to the reign having it as a basic need, the experience makes the person's thoughts cloud to the point where they become mentally weak.

It is the most fertile stage of the person and this can depend on the category of alpha or omega, normally the heat can take four days without using anything to help pass it, the recessives usually take a day with this and the dominants usually take at least two days but the effects are stronger in these categories, leaving the person defenseless in this state.

Pups.

Pups often feel restless without the presence of their parents, the presence of their parents' pheromones usually make them feel protected, the exceptions to these can be when the parents are absent and the children create bonds with people close to them and relax with their pheromones.

Extra subgenres.

Enigmas: they are considered the perfect race, their strength and height is greater than even the dominant alphas, their pheromones can subdue the three main subgenres and this subgenre is extremely fertile, being able to impregnate any subgenre, even their own.

Unlike the other subgenres, these two have two types of enigmas: natural and artificial.

The naturals are biologically born as enigmas, their features are exceptional since the state of enigma makes them infinite sources of magic that overflow to affect the physique and the artificials are people of the three main subgenres that mutated to the enigma subgenre due to an overflow of pheromones combined with magic, these subgenres still have the physical characteristics of their initial subgenre, only the physical strength and height change, the latter being a slow and long-term effect.

The curious fact about this subgenre is that they are not affected by the pheromones of the other subgenres or the jealousy of these unless they are linked to them. To date only the alicorns have presented this subgenre and they do not go through jealousy.

Zetas:They are considered anomalies in Equestria, they fit into the three main categories since they can transform into all of them at will, they cannot be controlled by pheromones and their own pheromones are ambiguous until they decide which subgenre they want to transform into.

To date, only one Zeta has been known since there are no more records of the Zetas apart from the Draconeus. There is no record of a Zeta in heat and their appearances are completely different from the rest of the people in Equestria
