20 Things for Your Twenties

Get organized! I mean it. Get your stuff together.

Stop whining about what you can’t do, do what you can do, and do it well.

If God isn’t the center of your focus, shift your focus.

Your Bible is your guide and directly or implicitly covers every topic ever.

Education makes a difference in almost every facet of your life

Motivation comes from within and passion drives motivation.

Hard work will get you somewhere even if you’re failing right now.

Get a professional mentor. 

Just because he/she is polite, doesn’t mean he/she is into you. 

Crowd mentality shouldn’t be your mentality. Think for yourself.

Go on meaningful adventures, ones that will grow you as a person.

This is the time when people lose faith in God. Feed your faith.

Master of One (or some) > Jack of all trades. 

Your parents or guardians are getting older. Show them some kindness.

Don’t allow your parents to pressure you into something you don’t enjoy.

College has a lot of resources - counseling, tutoring, etc- use them.

Sometimes you are going to fail, get rejected, or get hurt. Learn from it.

It’s okay to mess up. Successful people failed before they succeeded.

First Impressions last. Make them count.

Believe in your ability to be the best version of yourself. 

Be optimistic about your future and stop making excuses. Many waste their twenties and miss out on great opportunities for growth. Your thirties depend heavily on the decisions you made in your twenties. Be wise, stay informed, and move forward in whatever path has been set out for you.
