things i love about this artwork:
* marina and acht being friends!
* octavio serving soup to cuttlefish!
* crusty sean, fred crumbs and chum frying themselves in an oil swimming pool!
* flow and spyke drinking together!
* smollusk and cipher in the "real" world!
* c.q. cumber still existing!
* tartar as a tiny armrest for hiro! i'm glad it found happiness (i think)!
anyway, my biggest regret has traditionally been not playing splatoon 2 during its era, being a watching-vinesauce-and-researching-the-lore fan of splatoon 1 during its day and then coming back once 3 came out to play 3 and 2 and since then i've been hooked on it. i feel i would be like, n3 or n2, rather than n5, in japanese, had i gotten into splatoon 2 seven or eight years ago and become interested in my current subjects earlier.
on the other hand, splatoon has not led me to meet friends and become a happier person like it has for some. splatoon has led me into dark pits of existential and personal depression, and in a way, i'm glad i didn't get back into it until 2023.
anyway, it's a been a decade now, god, time is fast.
