Hey, so I know I said I was almost finished with my asks. Well, turns out burn out is a real bitch lol...
So maybe I'll try posting old, unfinished drawings to see if I can coax my motivation for art out of hiding in its cave...
Have some old sketches and concepts for Morty R-99. Some sketches are inconsistent to what he looks like now, that's just because they are much older...

When I first came up with him, he was sort of an "Inspector Gadget" knock off, called "Gore Gadget Morty". A moniker given to him by other Mortys. This I think I'll still keep as his shtick, as he's practically packed full of gadgets and enhancements utilized for whatever dirty work Rick needed him for..
I don't know what I'm gonna do about his name(s), or what I'm gonna settle on, though currently I refer to his "pre head injury" version as "Gore Gadget Morty" and his "post head injury" version as "Mind-Rip Morty"... "Gore Gadget" is the name he is known for within the universe(s). And "Mind-Rip" is for when either I am referring to his "post self", or what his split personality refers to himself as.
Which reminds me. I'm not sure if I explicitly said before, but Morty R-99 has a dual personality. Whenever the staples on his head come lose (weather by jostling or maybe Mind-Rip gets control of an arm and ripps them out), his secondary personality "wakes up". The time of which "Mind-Rip" is awake can vary, though, Morty eventually manages to fight him off, pressing the two halves of his skull back together and stapling the wound closed. He used to have to fight off Mind-Rip alone; however, he now has someone who helps keep his episodes in check. I will introduce this someone later. And no, it's not his Summer. I'll also save a concept post about her for later...
Anyway, I just wanted to come up with a wacky story and forgo logic. And what better way to write that kind of story than to use "Rick and Morty" as the base... Thx for reading :)
