not just a girl - waitress x f!reader
(sorry if some parts don't make sense or if there are any errors, it's already 2am and I am too TiReD to proofread.)
There's this girl. She's got blue eyes and a bright smile, short brown hair and a soft gaze beneath her pupils. I could approach her, I could make a move, but I'm always stuck with nothing but doubt. That I'll only be left with humiliation in the end. Gosh, it's almost 10pm and I am still sinking deep into my thoughts. I've been sitting here, in this café for God knows how long. Well, since I'm still here, I might as well get a croissant. And...and maybe try to give that cute girl my number. I mean technically she does know me, I'm a regular...
I stood up, leaving everything behind, and I approached the counter. 'Cute Girl' noticed me. "Can I help you?"
"Ah! Yes, um yeah because. YES!"
"..."
You ever wanna just die sometimes, like...you just die on the spot and everyone doesn't really care...?
"Sorry, I--" *GAG* "I'd like a croissant please, than-" *GAG* ... *COUGH* "-nk you..."
"You want a trip to the bathroom too?" She tried to hold back her smirk, handing me the paperbag. I snorted, "No! I-" I felt something almost reach up to my throat. I did need a trip to the bathroom indeed. "Uhh...one sec..." I quickly ran to the restroom. Oh. My. Gosh. I have never been more embarrassed in my life. I stayed there for a while. Until I heard someone outside of the stall. "You good?" It was her.
"Uhhh, yahh, things are cool around here..."
"Well, it's almost closing time, I wouldn't wanna leave you here."
I laughed nervously. I was feeling much better now, although I was a little embarrassed to come out. "Oh yeah, you also left your croissant." I busted through the door. I am not letting ₱125 (you do the math) go down the drain. "Soooo..." Fortunately, her shift was already over (Idk shirt about cafés) and we ended up walking home together. Sometimes...you just need some company. "You know, you're really awkward." She smiled. "It's a little charming, actually." I blushed. Mentally. "Reallyyy? ..." Cute Girl started laughing, "Yes! It's honestly adorable." I laughed along with her. "You're adorable." I said. With a completely straight face. "Oh...thank you..." she tucked her hair behind her ear. She went silent for a while...and decided to change the topic. I finally got to talk to her and actually bond with her! Wasn't so bad as I thought. Although, after a while, we had to part unfortunately...
"So uh, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, my uh, my apartment is like- all the way there...bye!" Before I left, "Wait!" Cute Girl exclaimed as she held me firmly by the arm.
"...What's your number?"

Cherish - dee reynolds x f.reader
Dee came back to your shared apartment, exhausted and disheveled as usual. "Good lord, what happened now?" She groaned, "I don't wanna talk about it." She flopped onto your lap, you flinched at her...burnt toast odor. "Everything's just full of shirt..." she whined. "I can see that." ... "And smell that- What's that smell?" "Charlie and Dennis tried to drown me in a bathtub full of toast." "Wh...what?" Dee only sighed, "Yep." You caressed her like she was some sort of weird cat, hoping that it was enough to comfort her. "You know, I always hear these names being tossed around. Care to introduce me?" "Fork no! Trust me, they're the worst. You don't wanna end up like me."
"I WILL EAT YOUR BABIES, BITCH"
"...Fair enough." You muttered.
Dee found comfort in your presence, she thought of you as like... a cold wind blowing during a scorching weather, a vacation after a long period of work. It was like she could just take a break from everything for a minute, and that's what made her so grateful to be with you. "I'm glad I have you." She smiled, "Me too."
Time stood still in this very moment. It was truly something worth cherishing.

Stupid Clichés Side B - Waitress x F.Reader
I was working, exhausted from Charlie bothering me repeatedly. The weather wasn't enough to brighten my crappy (censorship) mood. My eyes were getting heavy, I felt the same old. But there wss this girl, she walked into the room and I could've sworn that the whole room lit up. I struggled to get myself together, I struggled to catch my breath, but now, she was right in front of me. When our eyes met, I couldn't get a single word to come out. "Can I- Can I help you?" I nervously smiled. "Yes...can I uh- get an iced coffee?" "Alright..."
Her voice was so calm, her eyes were like- Ugh! It's too complicated...
Eugh, I feel really concerned for myself right now. It's so weird to feel like this towards some stranger... "Something wrong?" Oh shirt. "Ah! Nothing, sorry" I quickly went to work, a painful sensation lit my spine on fire. I felt so embarrassed.
"That'll be $3.57" I said as I gave her the drink. "Thank you..." I was scared that she would walk out, and that I would never see her again, but she stayed. And all I could do was admire her from afar and hold on a thin string of hope that she'll come back and- and become a regular or whatever, I don't forking know!
When you have just a tiny stupid crush on someone, it can really affect how you look at the whole world. They'd be the reason why you get out of bed every morning, they'd be the reason why you uhh...feel like you're walking on air? Yeah. It was a nice feeling, but I just didn't want her, out of all the people, to be the reason why I felt that way.

Stupid Clichés Side A - Waitress x F.Reader
(I'd like to apologize for the terrible romance writing)
It was a friday morning, I wanted to reward myself after a long week by walking around town but now...I think I'm lost. I stopped in my tracks, looking around, I found a café across the street and I figured that maybe a little coffee could help me retrace my steps, so I entered with the bittersweet aroma going through me.
I slowly walked towards the counter, the girl who was behind said counter looked exhausted and irritated, but when she turned to look at me, her eyes widened, she looked a little caught off guard. "W...wh- I uh- Can I help you?"
This is quite strange to say, but I could feel a soft touch of attraction when we made eye contact. Something about her was so indescribable.
But I decided not to entertain these thoughts too much. I'm just here to get a coffee, that's all. Not to fall in love rom-com style. "....Yes, can I uh- can I get an iced coffee?" I smiled politely. "Alright..." She got to work while I sighed, awkwardly standing there. I looked outside. The sun was bright, bursting with rays while the chatter was quiet, it was obviously a pretty slow day but I took solace in the still silence.
When I turned back, she was just staring at me. I flinched. "Something wrong?" "Oh! Nothing, sorry."
She handed me the drink, "That'll be $3.57" I gave her the money. "Thank you" I muttered under my breath. The way she looked at me, the way she smiled, I felt something. It was an insane feeling, one I wasn't so comfortable with. But a spark was lit, and I'm drawn to her even more. There was just a pull. A feeling I just couldn't ignore.
