i have heard that Roger Miller once said “behind every good song is a good pill.” perhaps apocryphal, but the dude was no stranger to foreign substances. and when he was firing on all cylinders, he was simply wonderful.

anyway. here he is making magic on the Muppet Show.

There is so much to love here. Roger, for starters. “Thumbs” Carlisle playing a little lap guitar with a Batman t-shirt on under his blazer. (!!!) ”We always do a highly informal show,” says ol’ Roger. “The higher we get, the more informal we are.”

2012 GMF 오랜만에 노래하는 황홀한 기분. 50분이란 시간이 너무도 슬쩍 흘러버렸다. 음악은 너무 좋아서 때론 아프다.
