Is Santa Poised to Fill Christmas Stockings with Coal?
Is Santa Poised to Fill Christmas Stockings with Coal?
If container shipping is any reflection of the upcoming Christmas season, Santa is poised to fill the nation’s Christmas stockings with coal. Let’s start by noting that Baltic Dry Index Falls Below 500 for First Time Ever (gcaptain.com) and Container Freight Rates Plummet 70% In 3 Weeks (Zero Hedge). For a corroborative report on shipping along America’s Atlantic Coast, we turn to correspondent…

Beating Back the Hackers
Beating Back the Hackers
So far, we’ve beat back more than 40,000 hacker attempts to crash the site. We’re still in the middle of the fight, and need all of the support we can get. Thanks to all of those who have donated! We still haven’t raised enough to hire a security consultant to “harden” the site against further attacks. If you can donate a little, it would greatly help.

Corporate media bigotry of ‘Muslims’ could easily apply to ‘Americans;’ same history as Jews, Blacks, Protestants, Catholics, women, gays, lefties
Corporate media bigotry of ‘Muslims’ could easily apply to ‘Americans;’ same history as Jews, Blacks, Protestants, Catholics, women, gays, lefties
bigotry: habitual state of mind with obstinate, irrational, and/or unfair intolerance of ideas, ethnicities, or beliefs different from one’s own. Etymology: “religious hypocrite.” In the Now’s 2-minute video compilation of CNN orchestrating blame of all Muslims for terrorism: Earth’s history includes bigotry against religions,…

Is This How the Next Global Financial Meltdown Will Unfold?
Is This How the Next Global Financial Meltdown Will Unfold?
I have long maintained that the structural imbalances of debt and risk that triggered the Global Financial Meltdown of 2008-2009 have effectively been transferred to the foreign exchange (FX) markets. This creates a problem for the central banks that have orchestrated the “recovery” by goosing asset bubbles in stocks, real estate and bonds: unlike these markets, the currency-FX market is too big…

2-minute video: Criminal corporate media blame ALL Muslims for terrorism
2-minute video: Criminal corporate media blame ALL Muslims for terrorism
hat tip: InvestmentWatch In the Now’s 2-minute video of CNN orchestrating blame of all Muslims for terrorism spins the claim that if Muslims were more responsible, then “they” would catch terrorists before any attack. Corporate media, of course, must lie to ignore: history of over 40 false flag attacks admitted by governments to…

Hang Onto Your Wallets: Negative Interest, the War on Cash, and the $10 Trillion Bail-in
Hang Onto Your Wallets: Negative Interest, the War on Cash, and the $10 Trillion Bail-in
By Ellen Brown. In uncertain times, “cash is king,” but central bankers are systematically moving to eliminate that option. Is it really about stimulating the economy? Or is there some deeper, darker threat afoot? Remember those old ads showing a senior couple lounging on a warm beach, captioned “Let your money work for you”? Or the scene in Mary Poppins where young Michael is being advised to…

5 Myths Regarding the Paris Terror Attack
5 Myths Regarding the Paris Terror Attack
As usual, the politicos and talking heads are all talking their own book, using the Paris terror attacks to push their own agendas. As shown below, they’re spouting nonsense. Mass Surveillance Won’t Help The NSA and other spy agencies are pretending that the Paris attacks show that we need more mass surveillance. But the New York Times correctly points out in a scathing editorial that mass…

‘Former’ colonial nations NOT ‘heartbroken’ over Paris 136 innocent victims because they allow daily gruesome deaths of 20,000 children from preventable poverty they’ve promised to save since 1969
‘Former’ colonial nations NOT ‘heartbroken’ over Paris 136 innocent victims because they allow daily gruesome deaths of 20,000 children from preventable poverty they’ve promised to save since 1969
US president Obama hypocritically claims again to be “heartbroken” over apparently 136 innocent Parisian deaths last week; an apparent false flag attack to “justify” offensive and unlawful war on Syria. Last year, Michelle Obama used the US president’s weekly address to justify US military entering Nigeria (history/context here), pretending that her husband and she cared about 276 Nigerian girls…

Will 2016 Be The Year Of Wireless Energy?
Will 2016 Be The Year Of Wireless Energy?
Wireless power has been a dream of mankind’s for decades, but the technology finally appears to be gaining some traction. Theoretically, numerous studies have shown that wireless power is possible through a variety of aerial transmission modalities. Yet the problem with wireless power has been getting the technology to work at a reasonable range. So far, commercial use of wireless power has been…

The Federal Reserve, Interest Rates and Triffin's Paradox
The Federal Reserve, Interest Rates and Triffin’s Paradox
One result of the global dependence on central bank interventions is a unhealthy fixation on the slightest changes in those interventions, oops I meant policies. Since the slightest pull-back in central bank inflation of asset bubbles could spell doom for the global economy and everyone holding those assets, the world now hangs on every pronouncement of the Federal Reserve in a state of extreme…

Chicago Restricts Drones: Who's Next?
Chicago Restricts Drones: Who’s Next?
Chicago media outlets are reporting that drones have been banned from most of Chicago’s skies and cannot fly over you or your property without your permission. The text of the ordinance, however, makes exceptions for police that will require eternal vigilance. Local legislative action around drones began in U.S. cities in early 2013 with the public demand for resolutions opposing foreign drone…

Why The Status Quo Is Doomed: Income Stagnates, Costs Rise
Why The Status Quo Is Doomed: Income Stagnates, Costs Rise
Even if nothing else doomed the status quo, the widening gap between household incomes and costs will push the corrupt contraption over the cliff by itself. The status quo (whatever you wish to call it) requires “growth” to sustain itself–growth in consumption, spending, sales, debt, asset valuations, profits and of course taxes, and ultimately all of those “growths” depend on household incomes.…

If We Want To Stop Terrorism, We Should Stop SUPPORTING Terrorists
If We Want To Stop Terrorism, We Should Stop SUPPORTING Terrorists
The 7 Ways to Stop Terrorism In the wake of the barbaric Paris terror attack, everyone is debating how to stop further terrorism. Some say we need more war against Islamic countries … or more spying … or more crackdowns on our liberties. But – despite what the talking heads may say – the methods for stopping future attacks are well known … We’ve got to drain the swamp. I. Stop Overthrowing the…

5 Things to Do About ISIS, or Can an American Without a Gun "Do Something"?
5 Things to Do About ISIS, or Can an American Without a Gun “Do Something”?
Toward the end of altering our idea of what counts as “doing something,” I offer this composite representation of numerous media interviews I’ve done. Interviewer: So you’d stop the planes and the drones and the bombs and the special forces. You’ve said lots about what you wouldn’t do, but can you say what you would do? Me: Sure, I believe the United States government should propose and attempt…

U.S. Government Moves to Exploit Paris Terror Attacks to Ban Privacy
U.S. Government Moves to Exploit Paris Terror Attacks to Ban Privacy
Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog, Last week, the British Prime Minister told Parliament that he wants to “ensure that terrorists do not have a safe space in which to communicate.” Strong encryption refers to the act of scrambling data in such a way that it cannot be understood by anyone without the correct key or password — even law enforcement with a warrant, or the software…

Why French Military Action In Syria Doesn’t Affect Oil Prices
Why French Military Action In Syria Doesn’t Affect Oil Prices
The horrific attacks in Paris prompted a swift response from French President Francois Hollande, as he dispatched an aircraft carrier to the Eastern Mediterranean a day after airstrikes hit the key city ISIS stronghold of Raqqa. The United States responded with airstrikes on Monday, November 16, targeting hundreds of trucks that the U.S. military believes are used for smuggling oil. The NYT…
