Short DP X DC Prompts #106
Danny accidentally ghost portals into Arkham asylum. The staff fully thinks that he’s a patient of the asylum no matter how many times he tries to convince them.

Inspired by this great prompt and goes the other way.
Of which Danny goes to Reddit as Phantom.
Now, I dunno much about Reddit due to my country's default system is to ban the site (except if you use VPN or Apple products apparently?), but anyways.
One reckon that r/evilmonologue exists.
Danny-as-Phantom is certainly asking that if he's a bad villain (Am I a Bad Villain aka AIBV) since his "Heroes" (Red Huntress, Fenton couple, and GIW) doesn't allow him to do Evil Monologues at all, when even the weakest "Villain" would even has his "Beware Box" gimmick (tho he certainly wouldn't do anything so cringe).
Ofc it comes from: Yes, GhostNebula is a bad villain to: this kid is handed out such a bad life that he really mistakes "heroes" and "villains" of all things. You sure that the guys in white and ghost hunters are good guys?? to: Flash, get your villain. I think he'll be safer with you since he also got no body count, so surely he was a Flash rogue?
And ofc the heroes of JL (or others) will investigate for some reason or another.

Danny Corpse AU, he keeps his polished bones in a locked case under his bed, but has his skull on his desk as a nice decoration and work companion.
He puts funny little hats on himself, sometimes some little paper accessories (he doesn't want to put any kind of adhesive in his bones, that's just asking for damage- so no stickers, sadly).
Everyone he works with fully assumes it's just a prop skull.
Danny Fenton works at the Daily Planet in a corner where Clark Kent doesn't really frequent.
One day, he has to drop of some paperwork for Mr Fenton- who he's never met despite working together for the past two years, “shit just happens in a big office like that I guess” he says (though Clark swears he’s never heard a heartbeat or any kind of breathing from that office)- and Clark drops everything he's holding when he sees a child's skull on the desk, decorated with a festive pink ribbon patterned with different fruits.
Clark knows exactly what real bone pores look like, and he knows his enhanced sight isn't lying to him. It's either the best fake in this or any universe, or his coworker has a real human child's skull on his desk.
But how does he bring this up to anyone without exposing himself?

Sometimes I feel like HDH should have rewatched the first season of his own show before writing S2/S3. Not only did Gi-hun suffer from a loss of creative problem solving skills in S2/S3, but Jun-ho did, too.
Once Jun-ho joined the team, he knew how they got players to the murder island for the games.
They also had like 2 months between the Recruiter's death and Gi-hun's meeting with the Front Man. They could have easily spent some of those 2 months searching for information about mysterious ferries that had been scheduled to pick up a bunch of identical vans on Halloween, for Mysterious Purposes and with a Mysterious Destination.
At which point, instead of focusing 100% of their firepower on tailing Gi-hun when he gets picked up by the Front Man, they could have sent half their team to stakeout the area where the Mysterious Ferry was docked. Then, even if Gi-hun's plan to kidnap the Front Man with the other half of their team failed, the ferry team could try to take over the ferry and prevent any other players from being transported to the island in the first place.
Or pull a S1 Jun-ho and take out some workers on the ferry in order to infilitrate the games in their place.
Or even just put a tracker on the ferry, to have a backup tracker in the event that Gi-hun's tooth tracker failed.
Honestly, there are so many backup plans they could have had centered around finding the extremely large ferry full of identical vans that would be required to transport the rest of 455 players to Murder Island in the first place.
Jun-ho was even a traffic cop. Instead of quitting his job as a traffic cop to... practice guns for 2 months(??), he could have spent his time looking for a traffic pattern of several dozen Mysterious Vans that depart and return to a similar Mysterious Location by the shore once a year every year since the year the games started. Which was also information Jun-ho knew, since he saw the years listed on the binders of player information in the Front Man's records' room, that time that he infiltrated Gi-hun's first games and ran around causing significant mayhem for multiple days all on his own before he finally got caught.
And the show could have done all that and still had those plans fail and the rest of S2 go the same way as canon, because the first person Jun-ho would have thought of to ask if he'd heard any whispers about Mysterious Ferry Activity (after looking up any information he could find for himself in his job as a traffic cop) would probably have been Captain Park, anyway.
Instead, S2/S3 feels less like, "Heroes don't win in the real world," and more like, "they had to nuke Gi-hun and Jun-ho's creative problem solving skills and make them barely talk to each other, because a S1 Gi-hun & Jun-ho team up would have annihilated those games by the end of, like, episode 3."

I love dp x DC stories in which Ghost King Danny is summoned in his full Eldritch form and scaring the shit out of everyone. I also like it when it combines with aus of him talking in ghost speak and the translation gets wrangled, so he sounds a lot more threatening than he means to.
But in those stories ... his name doesn't really fit. What Eldritch God would be called Danny? Even Phantom isn't that scary.
Then I realized that if ghost speak gets translates wrongly and Danny said his name in ghost speak ... wouldn't it be translated wrong too?
And Daniel means God is my Judge in Hebrew while Phantom of course is a kind of ghost.
So,
The Justice League has summoned Danny and he doesn't realize that he's in his Eldritch form. His skin is black and filled with galaxies constantly being born and dying. His eyes are two endless black holes. His hair is the flash of the big bang. He's terrifying and awe-inspiring.
As he speaks, it sounds like millions of beings screaming in agony before breathing their last breath.
And then Danny says "Hi! My name is Danny Phantom, the Ghost King, how can I help you?"
But what the JL hears through the translation is: "I am the Judge of Gods and the restless Dead, Ruler of the Infinite, for what purpose hath thee summoned me?"
Now that's a fitting name!

So Bart hasn't told anyone, but ever since he got Kon back from not existing anymore after scouring existence for him, he's kinda...been in jail. Time jail.
The warden, a weird not-a-god-but-might-as-well-be-one named Clockwork, who is totally a weird other version of Kronos, is nice enough to let him leave so he can go get "enrichment".
But he forces Bart to attend classes through a portal that allows him to see the classroom, but not actually interact with it, which is awful. It's torture. This really is a prison.
The only person who gets him is another maybe-god called Phantom, who drops by a lot because he's Clockwork's errand boy. Sometimes they play video games together, but usually they escape from Clockwork and try to hang out in the Living world for a bit, until the totally-not-a-time-god finds them again.
Sure, Bart gets to leave sometimes to go do hero stuff and hang out with his friends, but also once he's done he has to go straight back to Clockwork's lair. It's a total cowabummer.
And Bart might slip up a little bit.
Cuz after helping Wally and Max fight off another cult, Bart complains.
"Ugh, I have to go back," he whines, kicking at a rock.
"Go back? That reminds me, son, who have you been staying with?" Max asks, his voice that stupid lying calm he gets when he's trying to weasel his way into information he has no business knowing.
But Bart's frustrated enough not to care.
"Jail, cuz it's a prison and I'm never allowed to do anything without permission and I have to attend virtual classes because he's a warden-"
"Who's a warden?"
"Stupid Clockwork but he's totally lying about his name and I'm not stupid, but he keeps insisting 'oh no that IS my name Bart Allen' but like, it's super obvious that he's Kronos? Which isn't super important because what's even more important is that he's a lying liar who lies and sucks the fun out of everything-"
"Please tell me I misheard you and that you aren't staying with Kronos," Wally says, eyes wide.
Bart groans. He's focusing on the wrong thing!
"Yeah, but like, that's not the important part! The important part is that I have to go back, and if I don't, then he opens a portal underneath me and-"
There's a flash of green as Clockwork does just that, and Bart is, again, in Clockwork's lair.
"You're late for your pre-calculus class," Clockwork says, sounding like he's trying not to laugh.
Cuz he's a jerk.
And this is a prison.
~~~~~~~~
Or, Clockwork "arrests" Bart because an unmonitored Speedster is begging for trouble. Really, he's just trying to force the kid to have structure, because said kid refuses to let the other Speedsters know that he's been, technically, homeless.
Maybe it's spending so much time with Daniel, but Clockwork has a bit of a soft spot for kid heroes, and since the Speedforce is essentially his cousin, he's really just looking after a distant nephew.
But when he spots an opportunity to mess with the Speedsters, he takes it.
Now the rest of the Speedsters think that Bart is being held captive by Kronos, and Clockwork fully intends to enjoy the show.
There's an identity broker that's appeared in the shadier parts of Gotham. Supposedly, if someone goes to him, they're guaranteed a new start in life, and no one is able to find them afterwards.
Jason has concerns.
He has concerns because a lot of good people, down on their luck, have gone to this guy, and disappeared off the face of the planet.
He's done recon, he knows this dude isn't killing them, he's watched them walk out of his shop and into a waiting car, and trailed that car to a farm on the outskirts of Gotham.
But when he tries to talk to the people, they're 100% committed to the bit of "new life", claiming they have no idea who he is.
Maybe they don't.
Jason decides to go undercover and pay the guy a visit.
~~~~~~
Jason Nightingale had always loved reading, so much so that when he hit 18 he found himself at a crossroads in life; English major, or professional athlete.
He chose English major, but always kept up the workout routine, perhaps getting into a few accidents and gaining a few scars along the way.
Doing his undergrad in the bad side of town probably wasn't the best idea, but he had a few gunshot scars to show off for it, and it was a story to tell his dates.
Jason is also currently just starting as a Teaching Assistant for one Mr. Lancer at Casper High School in Amity Park, and he is very excited.
Well, right up until he gets home one day and fucking Nightwing of all heroes is waiting for him, asking how long he intends to be undercover.
Undercover?
Him?
"You've got the wrong guy, Nightwing; I'm literally just a Teaching Assistant."
~~~~~~
The Bats have been looking for Jason.
The last anyone heard, he'd gone undercover to investigate an identity broker who promised people a "new life", one that would never be intruded on by their past enemies.
They finally found him after four months, tucked away in Amity Park.
But he doesn't remember them. He's completely convinced that he left Gotham after his mom died, that he's got an MA in English, and that he's a Teaching Assistant.
The memory alteration appears to be...permanent.
The paper trail only helps cement those memories for Jason, and that paper trail is flawless to anyone not a Bat.
They have to find the identity broker. They have to find a way to reverse this.
~~~~~~
Dan has decided to use his second chance at life to do good.
Not saving kittens good, but like. Good for the little people. People who are in shit creek and need a new start at life, just like him.
He partners with Ghostwriter, Spectra (that took work but he's got blackmail on her so she's cooperating), and various lesser ghosts already in Gotham.
He deals with the customers on the front end, puts them to sleep (sometimes they freak out and fight at the last second, but Dan's strong enough to knock them out; it's just last second jitters, they'd thank him if they remembered literally any of it), and then works with the ghosts at his disposal to do what the customer wanted.
Spectra steals the memories they don't want (she has a huge collection of labeled jars of them; there are so many she can't eat them all, so she's working her way through them), Ghostwriter fills in the gaps those memories left behind with a life story the person would want (which Dan monitors like a hawk to make sure he doesn't get carried away), and the volunteer ghosts will possess the customer with the intent of leaving behind knowledge.
They have dead astrophysicists, they have dead college professors, they have dead museum curators; Gotham's got a lot of dead people.
So far, it's working wonders.
Once they customer has been reset, and is still reeling, they're taken to a farmhouse retreat set up by Danny, Dani, and Jazz; after all, they all had to get new identities themselves to run from the GIW, they know the struggle.
Unfortunately, given that they have to act as guard for all these people, they can't use the memory alteration.
Which is a pity cuz there's a lot of shit Dan would love to forget.
But it's a good thing he didn't, he thinks as he stares down the Big Bad Bat, because that means he has his previous life's experience backing him.
Dan squares up to Batman, fully prepared to protect his clients pasts.

You know those posts about one of Bruce’s kids getting kidnapped and him having no idea which kid they have based on the vague descriptions he’s given? Well now I can’t only imagine Bruce getting the dreaded call and immediately pulling out a guess who board filled entirely with his kids. Like
kidnapper: we have one of your children
Bruce: I have so many of those you need to be more specific
kidnapper: the loud and annoying one
Bruce, flipping down Cass and Duke: that does not help as much as you think it does
kidnapper: well he has black hair?
Bruce, flips down Steph: keep going
kidnapper: uhhhh? He’s short?
Bruce, flips down Dick and Jason leaving Tim and Damian: more specific
kidnapper: he’s been condescending and judgmental since we got him
Bruce: yeah they both tend to do that
kidnapper: he keeps throwing around words I don’t understand
Bruce, realizing that Damian and Tim are significantly more similar than he thought: uhh more specific?
kidnapper: more?? look just wore us the mon— WHERE’D HE HIDE A KATANA???
Bruce: ah you have Damian

The GIW has a lot of leeway due to the laws that had to be shoved aside in order for them to exist; a lot of loopholes were deliberately placed inside of the Anti-Ecto laws. One of those was a loophole that negates the law against human experimentation.
So long as the GIW can find "any evidence" that the person they kidnap is an ecto-entity, they have the grounds to take them in for experimentation.
They opted to steal Nightwing, believing themselves fully prepared to face off against any so called "bats" and grab them too.
Dick, for his part, almost manages to escape one too many times for them to be comfortable with, and finds himself quite literally completely restrained, only able to watch as they inject a glowing green liquid into his veins.
He really, really hopes it isn't Lazarus Water.
It's not, it's something else.
What that something else is, he doesn't know, but three weeks in and his body has started...changing. In ways he's not super okay with.
He keeps growing an extra finger, or an extra eye, or an extra ear.
Then the fuckers throw him in a tank that they fill with water, and no way to gain access to air.
His body changes.
He gains a fish tail and gills.
By the time Bruce has finally managed to locate him, he's been stuck in this form for a month, and he isn't sure he'll be able to go back to human.

Its a terrifying scene. The camera angle revealing parts of a science lab straight out of hell. Kitchen knifes and scalpels lay dripping on a table.
On the dissection table- because thats all it could be- lays a small child. Small but noticable gills on the neck, the occasional fleck of scales and webbed fingers mark them as merfolk.
Viewers watch on in horror as the table is bloodied. A steady incision made in the left leg. The Justice League had been contacted but there was no indication they would make it in time to help.
A large Bang! went off in the background of the video, clearly catching the duo off guard. The man turned to his (wife?) with a weird moniter in his hands going off the charts and with an excited yelp they both took off running up the steps that were just barely in frame behind them.
A few long moments later, two teens sneak into the lab. The boy rushed over to unchain their parents 'test subject' while the girl kept watch.
Freshly released limbs had bloody wounds rubbed into the pinned down areas and quiet whispers of empathy were only just picked up by the audio. One of the viewers pointed out that the boy himself had scars in similar places.
The boy picked up the kid and the trio quickly slipped away out of camera view. Soft thuds mark their escape from the house, seemingly unaware of the Livestream their parents were apparently trying to make.
--------------------------
The story makes international news and leaves everyone on high alert. Government agencies scramble to prove they had no connection to the couple, the GIW undergos mass arrest when their names Maddie and Jack Fenton come up on their payroll. A channel is made to document any sightings of the kids.
The first one is posted after a day. It's security footage from a fast food restaruant. Four teens- the two from before plus a goth and someone named ''Tucker''- along with the comparitively tiny Mer sit in a booth. ''Tucker'' and "Sam'' argue about possible dietary restriction before seemingly ordering one of everything. There is soup, and a burger, the largest cup filled with water they could find in the back, chicken tenders and salad.
When the server goes to deliver everything, the four watch them like hawks, understandable given the previous day.
(Did any of them even know Half the world knew what went down? )
(Did any of them know how Aquaman was taking the news of one of his subjects being injured like that? )
( Did any of them realize that their choice to protect the kid was one of the main reasons war hadn't been declared yet on the human race?)
Jasmine is heard softly encouraging the tiny Mer to eat something, anything and eventually the soup is downed and apparently liked enough that she gets up to order more.
Right before they leave, while under the relative safety of a roof, they swap the bandages wrapped around most of the kids leg and arms and slowly tell them about future plans despite the fact that they probably can't understand the language.
(Jasmine points at a laptop screen filled with a view of the ocean. "We" she circles the group with her pinky "are going there to get you home." The atlantian can't speak english but the way their eyes light up and they relax further into Sams side shows they understand the basic message)
(The sight- of the child definitely scared but trusting them enough to get so close- helps calm the atlantians with access to the internet. Somewhere Aquaman finds himself able to breathe slightly easier.)

Inspired by @greenglowinspooks post
I love the Danny Phantom fandom's medical gore, but why not torture our DC blorbos too?
Lots of fics make Jason an underdeveloped halfa. Lots of fics make Danny basically unkillable because he's a halfa.
I'm going Maximum Angst Route on this one.
The Justice League buys the GIW's rhetoric. They hear about these dangerous energy imprints, these volatile mimicries of life that are hurting people. The GIW claim they've controlled it in the rest of America, but this one small town has a strong one that protects the rest and helps them attack. They ask for help stopping this one, assure them that once Phantom is neutralised, it'll be easy to deal with the rest. The JL agrees. The JL captures Phantom and hands him over to the GIW.
It takes months to capture most of the other ghosts, as they slowly trickle through the portal to find each other. The JL gains an appreciation for the GIW, having previously fought off entities like Skulker and Plasmius without hero help. They trust the GIW, and so when they ask to scan the heroes for any lingering radiation, they agree.
They're alarmed to find many heroes are mildly irradiated. The GIW removes the lingering ectoplasm from most of them, and they're drained afterwards, but they recover. Damian, who had much higher levels than most, seems almost sedated from his usual fury and violence. Cass privately notes that she can't read people as well anymore, and Damian's lethargy looks uncomfortable for him. She gets suspicious, but when no one listens to her concerns, she leaves for Hong Kong again. She's scared that if her levels get higher and they drain her again, she'll lose the ability to read people entirely. She doesn't want to lose such a fundamental part of how she interacts with the world.
When scanning, however, Batman gets pulled aside. They explain they've found a parasitic ghost in Red Hood, and removing it will be a much longer process. They show the ectoplasm levels, the scans with a visible core. Bruce connects this to the Pit Rage, and agrees to let them take Hood, hoping he will finally get his son back. Jason is cautious, but eventually agrees. This could be the cure he never thought he'd get.
The GIW is estatic. They've discovered a new halfa, and if they do this right, they'll be able to study halfa development. They have Phantom to tear apart to see what an actualised halfa looks like, but watching Hood grow and form? Trying to influence his development, maybe even weaponise him? This is an opportunity they have to make the most of. All they have to do is claim the parasite killed Hood before they could remove it, and they can keep him forever.
The second Jason is alone with the GIW, they sedate him. He wakes up in a cage too small to stand in, right next to the very Phantom he helped capture. The kid is asleep, curled on the floor, bleeding through loose stitches on an autopsy wound. He immediately realises they fucked up, and his rage/guilt/panic attack wakes Phantom up. He expected the kid to be angry, upset, even gleeful that Jason was caught too. He didn't expect the kid to look at him with sad pity, to calm him down and say he's sorry that Jason was mislead and betrayed like this. That yeah, shit's gonna suck now, but Danny (as he insisted) would be there for him for as long as their cages were kept together. That unlike Danny these past few months, Jason wouldn't be dealing with it alone.
The scientists slowly feed Jason ectoplasm, and cut him open daily to monitor how it affects him. Ironically, his Pit Rage is cured, but that doesn't make it any better. If anything, it's worse, because now he's fully cognizant and has no extra energy to fight with. He still does fight at first, even without the Pit, but he knows no one's coming to his rescue. Eventually, he joins Danny in his nihilistic snark and dead-eyed stare. And yeah, they joked about that pun.
Time becomes meaningless. They do whatever they can to escape the hopelessness. Horrifyingly morbid jokes, empty bets on what form of torture they'll endure next, whispered stories about the people they miss. They reach through electrified bars just to feel a hand that doesn't mean harm. They spill their guts, metaphorically and literally, exchanging their deepest fears and secrets until they know each other entirely. Their necessary codependency becomes actual love, because how can you go through this together and know each other so deeply and not love each other? Platonically or romantically or the secret third option that's just insanely codependent affection.
Not sure who ends up rescuing them, but I'm thinking either a) Tim gets suspicious, b) the Outlaws go hunting, or c) Cass realises they have Jason and immediately freaks out. Whoever, they meet up with Team Phantom. Tucker and Sam been on the run since Danny was caught, and Jazz could be in Arkham? Or dead, or on the run too. Team Phantom was only held back by their lack of muscle (that's usually Danny), and now that they have trained fighters on their side, they're able to break in and get their boys. Cue long healing journey and revenge time.

Corpse AU + demon twins AU — danny realizes he can use his corpse to hopefully throw the league off his tail permanently
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“Wait,” Danny said randomly, causing Sam and Tucker to pause their digging and look over at him.
He licked his lips, mouth suddenly feeling dry. “This… this could be an opportunity.”
“Nope, we are not trying cannibalism, man. I may love meat, but I’m drawing the line at eating your body,” Tucker commented, trying to make a joke to lighten the reality of what they were doing.
Danny shook his head. “No. No, um.” He took a deep breath. “I’ve… I’ve never told you the full truth about my childhood.”
“What does being adopted have to do with burying your corpse?” Sam asked, brow furrowed.
“Was your original family in a gang!?” Tucker blurted out. Sam whacked him, while Danny let out a slightly panicked laugh.
“Actually, you’re not too far off. It wasn’t a gang, though, it was a cult. Grandfather was the leader, in fact.”
Sam and Tucker reacted in almost perfect unison. “What the hell.”/“What the fuck.”
“Yeah.” Danny swallowed. “And this,” he gestured at the trash bag they’d shoved his corpse into, “Could be the perfect way to guarantee they stop looking for me.”
“Is that really something you still need to worry about? It’s been years.”
“I don’t know. Grandfather—Ra’s—never did like loose ends. And they definitely have more than enough resources to keep trying.”
They all stood in silence for a moment, deep in thought. Sam was the first to break the silence.
“Okay, but, how would we even do that? We obviously don’t want Amity to find out about this—and I doubt you’d want those guys poking around here anyway. But none of us can drive, and I really doubt we can just mail a corpse somewhere.”

That’s not your medicine? - DC X DP prompt
Another idea I can't work on because time isn't on my favor, so I'm just begging someone else to write it TwT.
Slightly inspired by this post.
Years have passed by, and the ecto-acts were never repelled. Time has gone by, and Danny’s Jason's husband. Jason, friends and the family have noticed that Danny isn’t human but don’t bring it up because Danny seems terrified every time the subject seems to be about to be brought up (Yes, even Bruce wasn't able to question Danny. How would he? He tried to bring it up once and he was sure Danny was going to faint right then and there).
Danny has some health issues. Fatigueness, muscle pain, random dizziness, fevers that seem to come out of nowhere. Apparently it is a chronic issue, since Jason caught Danny taking some red pills early in their marriage. Jason didn’t recognize the medicine's name, something Blossom, so he imagined it was something specific to his species.
The married couple had been living happily for years and the family adores Danny.
One day a ghost faces into his house asking Danny for help, and of course Danny basically has a full on panic attack at being outed. Jason holds him close, grounds him and lets him calm down.
The ghost tells Danny that they need to do some errands in the human world, but the GIW has become way more active around the area he needs to visit, and needs to know how Danny has managed to hide so far. The conversation goes somewhat like this:
“I’m sorry, I don’t think you would want to do what I do. Even if you do, I’m not sure you can.”
“Please just tell me, I’ll decide if I want it by myself.”
Danny sights. He disappears for a moment in their bedroom and comes back with his medicine. He opens the bottle and inclines it to let the ghost see.
“I take this.”
The ghost looks into the bottle and is absolutely horrorized.
“Danny, you- you’re poisoning your core!”
“I know…”
“What do you mean poison?” Jason asks, alarmed “Isn’t this your medicine?”
Danny won’t meet his face.
“How can you be consuming this!? How long-”
“I don’t have any other options, okay!? I can’t run into the infinite realms and hide like the rest of you! I have to reside on this side of the veil!” Danny snaps at the ghost.
“But this… you must be in excruciating pain.”

Danny and Damian are related, with a twist.
Danny is the son of Talia Al Ghul, however he is NOT the son of Bruce Wayne. Ra’s has had his eyes on various people across the world that have either impressed him or show a unique skill set that he’d like to have. One such person was under the both categories and he got Talia to collect a DNA sample and as a result Danny was born.
This was before Bruce’s time with the League by a few years, but very quickly Danny was not meeting expectations. And by the time Bruce did show up Ra’s had lost all interest in Danny, moving on to better things.
Talia always hated Danny because she was forced to have him with a man who she never liked in the first place. Furthermore, because his skillset was lacking she found that even more reason for her distain. In her eyes, he wasn’t worth even considering her blood.
Danny, knowing that he was doomed if he didn’t make an escape, left the league sometime around when Bruce was moving up the ranks and was making waves within the organization. Perfect timing honestly, any attention he might have had was quickly gone when this prodigy showed up.
Danny escaped the League and went into hiding quickly after, settling on a rural area of the United States after bouncing around countries for a few months. This was mainly because Jasmine Fenton saw a young boy pick pocketing strangers while her family was visiting Chicago and scolded him. Her mother and father saw the boy and also lectured him to which Danny responded it was his only option (he was trying to get this loud family off his back so he could sneak away). Eventually the Fentons decide that if he has nowhere to go he might as well go with us, and Danny decides blending in with a Nuclear Family is the best way to ensure that his peaceful life away from the League stays that way. Oh how little did he know.
Flash forward a few years, Talia, who was visiting Gotham to check on Damian, sees a glimpse of a boy (now man) she thought she had forgotten. Her blood runs cold, if this abomination is in Gotham then her son is likely in danger and she would never let anything happen to Damian.

When Danny is trying to woo Jason he wears the most awful eye searing neon outfits known to man.
Jason’s wondering what the fuck is wrong with him to find it hot.
Dead on Main Omegaverse
Jason is having a brothers day out with Dick. The once a month they let the other in on their inner most thoughts.
“So any thoughts of dating?” Dick asked, setting a beer in front of Jason before sitting with his own.
Jason snorts, “An alpha wouldn’t want me.”
“Come on Little Wing,” Dick insists, “a traditional alpha would like the fact you cook and take care of kids well. A non traditional alpha would love your independence and resourcefulness. What’s not to like about you!”
“No alpha wants an omega that can break them in half.”
900 miles away Danny Fenton sits at Nasty Burger with his friends. He was the only alpha in Amity Park that weighed 180 pounds soaking wet.
“Look, there might be someone outside of this small town that likes small alphas,” Sam tries to point out.
“Yeah,” Tucker backs her up, “statistically you’ll find a better match in a global city like New York or Gotham.”
“I did qualify for a Gotham U scholarship,” Danny says. Tucker grasps Danny’s shoulder and shakes it while Sam slaps the table excitedly.
“See!” She exclaims, “already looking at the bright side! We’ll help you pack, set up a dating profile, and plan rogue attack escape routes.”
“Oh! And catch you up to speed on the bats—”
Danny smiled sadly as his friends talked about to do lists and must haves. He’s grateful for them but he knows that there’s no omega out there that would want an alpha they could push over with their pinkie.

DP X DC
The Justice League summons the ghost king. Danny was in the middle of an emergency that only he could stop.
He screams and cries and begs them to send him back, tells them it's life or death, tells them they can summon him again in 24 hours just PLEASE send him back NOW everybody was going to die
They argue and deliberate for almost ten minutes before they send him back.
They summon him again the next day. He's different.
They try to talk to him but he just hangs there numbly, floating and staring at nothing.
Nightwing can't take it anymore. Maybe the ghost king is an eldritch god, but to him he just looks like a traumatised child.
Without hesitation, he steps into the circle (Constantine told them all to stay back from it the first time he summoned Phantom but what's the worst that could happen?)
Everybody protests but Constantine keeps them back, tells them more people in the summoning circle will only make things more dangerous.
So, Nightwing does his thing. He hesitantly approaches the loose ball of glowing limbs that is Phantom, talking gently as he goes.
He asks Phantom if he can touch him, and still gets no response. Just dull, dead eyes looking past him.
Cautiously, he lays a hand on the ghost-boy's shoulder. No response.
He pulls him into his side, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and talking softly.
All at once, the king crumbles. He turns into the one-armed hug, fisting a hand tightly into Nightwing's costume. He buries his face in the hero's shoulder and begins to sob. Terrible, wretched noises of agony.
Nightwing makes soothing noises to the child in his arms as he turns to meet eyes with the rest of the Justice League.
They summoned him in the middle of an emergency and instead of sending him back immediately they kept him there. Kidnapped him.
This was their fault.
