Bound and bowed by FMP Recruitment Drive, it's easy to forget that the Bunnalien Rangers fought the combined forces of the United Celestial Commonwealth of Earth, preventing them from establishing a permanent foothold on any of the worlds in their protectorate, for a full nine years.

The AI's of the Recruitment Drive initially won the trust of the Bunnaliens by preemptively providing them with the cure for every one of the vicious chemical agents that had swept many planets clean of UCCE's previous opponents, in advance of their oft celebrated "liberation campaigns". Denied the convenience of bombardment, Earth's soldiers had to meet an enemy, who could count heartbeats from meters away and see in the dark, into the circumlocutory underground warrens, in which they lived.

With characteristic electronic patience, the Recruitment Drive waited until the UCCE would surrender any concession to forever be rid of their long eared adversary.

The FMP was all too glad to accommodate them.

Apologies for my recent absence. I haven't been feeling well of late, but I thought i should take a moment to post something.

Behold a Bunnaliean maid.

Curiously enough, Bunnalia was one of the earliest populations, "recruited" by the French Maid Planet. Bunnalia was not a lone planet but a cluster of habitable systems, resting between the galactic territories of FMP and the United Celestial Commonwealth of Earth. The Bunnalian's successfully resisted Earth's attempts to annex their territory for almost two decades until the FMP offered to form an alliance with them, against the blue Planet.

The Alliance was a ruse, of course. FMP and UCCE had previously agreed to divide the spoils, with Earth acquiring a majority of the habitable planets and FMP significantly increasing its population of cute maids.

Apologies. The first drawing I posted was of an original character, of a good friend of mine, who upon reflection was not comfortable seeing his character in the scenario depicted.

I will alter the drawing before inking and coloring and re-post it next Monday.

I've gotten a lot more responses than I was expecting, which lifts my mood considerably. Thought I'd take a minute to post an older picture.

I figure you're all probably curious as to what unspeakable evil is purloining all these pulchritudinous pretties for the purpose of making them serve out their days as miniskirted maids.

That's right, teddy bears in medieval themed powered armor. Perfectly obvious when you think about it.
