Yuuzu's ears filled with static—not the whining shrill kind when you hit your head to hard—but the low hissing static of an old radio, barely there murmurs and conversations began to pile up and one voice, loud and shrieking with metaphorical fingers that poked and prodded through all Yuuzuu was now and Will be. They barely registered Ace Shaking their shoulder harshly nor the burn in their mind as the the voice silenced the rest. Welcome, esteemed listeners, to the Night Raven Radio Broadcast—where the days are endless, the roses are always red (by decree, no exceptions), and nothing strange ever happens. No flame-eared cats. No mysterious prefects arrive from other worlds. Everything is perfectly normal.
We begin, as all things do, at the beginning.
