EVENT 002: THE HIDE AND SEEK

Like every night, darkness lets it's talons seep through Westray's alleys and roads, wraps itself around it's buildings and allows itself to enter it's homes. On the night of SATURDAY, AUGUST 23RD, the dark comes with faces and strangers. First suspicions are directed at the Leader of Clan Solune, ALEXIOS DOUKAS. However, this time, he is not at fault. While most of Westray falls into a strangely deep sleep for just one night, and no one wakes, some disappear from their homes, workplaces and off of the street. What is left, are strange riddles and words, sometimes scribbled with the blood of the abducted, who were taken alongside some of the residents' most priced possessions. No one knows who's the cause for this strange event, and humans suspect a group of criminals. However, the message is clear, written in blood on the snow white walls of the city hall: 48 HOURS TO SEEK WHAT HAS BEEN LOST. WE HAVE HIDDEN WHAT IS DEAR, COME FIND THEM NEAR, OR DO FACE THE COST. Everyone that is missing something or someone, has been asked to come to the city hall to join the large search groups that are being sent out into the forest, to the beach and through the city. Can the combined forces find what has been lost?

OOC INFORMATION

this event will last for 72 hours in game, and for 2-4 weeks ooc. please do not start any new threads prior to the events of august 23rd until the event is over, but feel free to continue already existing non-event threads.

this event requires muns to have their submit for their blogs OPEN, as their characters might be confronted with small snippets, memory flashbacks of their loved ones or because they might recover their lost, treasured items. submits may also connect your muse to other muses, for new connections and unlikely encounters. every character will receive a personalized plot drop to deal with as a set off of their game.

canon in game characters will return, and the injuries/effects will be discussed with the writers.
