yes this sums them up perfectly! they have always been one of my favorite fiction ships and it’s because of this reason!!! 🩵

not to get deep but like i feel like the reason why ninerose/tenrose/tentoorose are such god tier pairings is like. there is something so unbelievably profound about how devoted the doctor is to her. he took her to see the universe. he sent her to safety and when she came back for him, he died for her. he regenerated into her ideal partner because he was literally so obsessed with her. he told satan she was his religion and if he believed in anything he believed in her. he cried when they were separated and spent years telling his next two companions about her because he desperately didn’t want to replace her. “that name keeps me fighting.” he was shot by a dalek when he was running to see her again and smiled through it for her. to avoid changing again he created tentoo and he knew that he was going to leave her with him. he knew that tentoo would give her the life she wanted, and the life he always dreamed of having with her. her happiness is what mattered to him most and that is so……. sexy

One thing the show was able to do really well from the video game (intentional or not) is like sometimes Joel’s eyes are like sooooo dark like a void. Very different from Javi P’s baby browns. I think maybe having lighter hair makes like a high contrast or something but sometimes in the show his eyes just look like a pit
