I regularly think about Moiraine's quote about "A tool made for a purpose is not demeaned by being used for that purpose." About Moiraine as one of the Moirai, or all three at once, for the Emond's Field 5. About forging people for great purposes, throwing them, and herself, into the fire. About the weaves of fire Moiraine uses so often. About the fact she is described as ice, when it's the fire of her hope, her belief that fate could be gamed to save the world, that kept the embers burning for 20 years.

What is Save Wheel of Time Wednesdays all about?

Here on tumblr in the wheel of time community some brilliant fans (shout out @daughter-heir in particular!!!!) came up with the idea that on Wednesdays we should:

A group of fans are organising a rewatch this Saturday (July, 26th), in hope to get The Wheel of Time back in Prime Top10. With Weave Weeks happening next month, isn't it the perfect time for a rewatch?

Let's go back to season 1, and look for that one missing scene that's been haunting us ever since. Let's focus on the evolution of costumes and VFX.

If you want to join the fun, make sure to watch WoT on Prime video. It doesn't hurt to talk about your rewatch online either, as online engagement is good for metrics! If you want to let it play in the background while doing something else, it works too. Just make sure to leave the sound on a little, otherwise Prime might not count it. If it's on a tab of your browser, leave the tab open, for the same reason.

i really wanted a scene where elayne and aviendha do each other's hair on the show...they brush each other's hair all the time in the books and i really wanted to see it adapted. especially with show!avi having locs...idk would have been cool to see haircare being part of their intimacy...
