Keke Palmer does not get enough credit for her performance in Nope, she absolutely killed it in every scene she was in but my favorite is her finale scene. (Please forgive the awful quality)

You can see every thought and feeling written across her face like ink on paper. For a moment she looks so relieved, like the last few days never happened and never mattered

But then you can see her mind working, see the fear set in that it isn't real, he isn't real, and that this might be what truly breaks her.

She closes her eyes, takes a breath, prays to anyone listening, and hopes beyond hope that the fear and grief hasn't broken her beyond repair

And the relief that washes over her. The fear, the pain, the anger, falls away in an instant and none of it matters. Even when Jean Jacket was put down she didn't smile or cheer cause there was nothing worth celebrating, not really, but now! Now,

He made it.
