omg do you know what specific time period your rome ocs are from? (ie: latter empire, fall of the republic, the awkward in between time where octavian and antony were fighting for a while etc) because that type of semantics is sooo interesting to me <333

Julius lived through the fall of the republic and got to witness Emperor Augustus's rise to power

Flavia and Leon are the only ones I have specific years for - they lived in the Imperial Rome, Leon being born in 52 AD and Flavia in 56 AD. They were both killed in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the destruction of Pompeii (79 AD)

Bruno lived somewhere semi-late in republic Rome, somewhere between 100 BC and 50 BC

Hey all! Recently it's been getting pretty rough over by Ukraine, and the sweet lady who works there, the one who made my Morgott plush, has been taking shelter often. Her and her team are only able to work on plushies since it's convienient incase they have to hide, most of the men there are at the front of the line so right now, I'm doing what I can to spread her shop around so she can pay everyone she works with, and be safe.

I want to start sharing stuff about the Bailey family but I don’t even know where to start :’)

Do I start from where the Bailey and the De Léon family lines were connected through marriage? Do I start from the woman who brought magic to the De Léon family (the Bailey family got magic through them because of the marriage) decades prior to the marriage? Do I start with the children of that marriage, as they are the ones I started forming this story from? Or do I start in the modern days where a descendant of theirs is unraveling her past through black magic and with the help of the family’s personal demon (he’s been stuck with them for a literal century lol)?

Do I start with the tragic love story of a vampire and her mage girlfriend? Do I tell the tale of an angel trapped in a human’s body? Or do we start with the young man studying to become a broadway dancer, who’s life is thrown off its rails by two rival vampires and his best friend who hunts them?

Do I try to write their story? Or do I just start with listing off every character and share their stories in bits?

The name Lucius’s had a pretty wild ride between my characters;

At first Bruno was going to be named Lucius, then after I settled for Bruno it was going to be his last name, but I didn’t like the way it sounded so I left it out. Julius was originally also named Lucius, but then I remembered the name Julius existing so I just.. switched it again :’) At some point “Lucius” was going to be his own person too - but eventually the name ended as Julius’s last name.

I don’t think I’ve ever juggled a name so much :’)

I don't have anything specific in mind yet, but I am actively trying to come up with a Natm fic where I could properly use my characters! It just takes time to figure out how to introduce original characters in the best way possible... but it'll happen sooner or later :) for now I'm just gonna use this blog to post art of them and talk about them with anyone who's interested!

I'll definitely be making posts that go more into detail about all of them, maybe not quite yet as I do still have other character refs I want to post (a family of ocs I've been working on for years...)

Okay so I wasn't 100% sure which one these were for, so I'm going with the one I made... I'm sorry if I got it wrong😭

2. What's their favourite flower, and why?

Sunflowers - they remind her of her home and her mother

Flavia's pretty cool with her identity, though they do feel like they aren't always seen as who they really are - she feels like people only see her as shy and weak and don't give her credit for things she's good at. She sometimes struggles with her romantic feelings towards Livia, since in their own eyes, they aren't in the position to even hope for those feelings to be returned.

The acoustic version of Fly, by Meadowlark. It makes me think of Flavia and her sibling Leon as kids, spending a day with their mother - and it fits their current situation too, where they find it harder to trust Leon
