"Mama...where's daddy? Why do you cry at night? Is it because he went away?"

Bianca didn’t know what to say, she didn’t want to say it out loud because if she did, then it would be true-- that was the last thing she wanted. She held back tears, staring into her child’s innocent eyes. “I-I ...” What were the right words to say? She needed help. She needed him. 

The blonde couldn’t help it she broke into tears, falling to the ground -- silently sobbing. She felt tiny arms wrap around her. “Pleat don’t cry mama... I’m sure daddy will come home soon.” The child kissed their mother’s cheek. “Let’s get ice cream! That always makes you feel better~” Tiny hands pulled her onto her feet, leading her towards the door.

The shock of being pulled onto her feet stopped the tears. She stared at the familiar black hair. A small smile appeared on her face. I hope you’re seeing thing because you would be so proud.

"Mama mama!! Daddy gave me his glasses to wear and you're huge!!!"

“Oh really? Is mommy still cute even though she is huge?” The blonde laughed. She knelt to the ground, becoming eye level with her child. “But don’t you think mama looks cuter when she is normal?” She said as she removed the glasses. The child nodded. “Yeah~ I think so too! But, Daddy can only see how cute mama is when he is wearing his glasses.”

“So I need you to go tell daddy that he needs to wear them so he can see how cute mama is.”

"Mama, Mama, can I try on your glasses? I wanna look smart too!" (for Bianca!)

“Of course you can try on my glasses~!!” The blonde grinned widely as she placed the red spectacles on the child’s face. “You look soooo cute! But remember, wearing glasses doesn’t always make you look smart.”

“To look smart, you have to be smart -- like you’re mommy~!!”

"But I don't wanna wear glasses! They make me look like a loser!"

The blonde couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as she watched her child complain about the glasses he needed to get. She remembered being excited about getting her first pair -- she was tired of seeing the world as a blurry mess. “Glasses don’t make people look like losers.” She stated.

 “Just look at your Uncle Cheren -- he doesn’t wear his glasses anymore but yet, he’s still the biggest loser I’ve ever met~!!”

"Mama!" The little girl hopped up from the mud pile, grinning brightly at the sight of her mother. She was completely covered in dirt, but she rushed forward to hug her mother. "Welcome home, Mama!"

Rosemary took a deep breath as her daughter gave her a hug. The sight of dirt made Rosemary want to cringe. "Hey sweetie." The brunette (when she's an adult her hair is brown) smiled and picked up the child. "Let's get you into the bath, okay?"
