Shinya gets cold easily so he hogs the blankets

Guren has the worst bedhead every morning

Shinya makes fun of him for that, ofc

They are both tired as hell so weekends are for sleeping and being lazy

They also play a lot of video games when they can

Shinya has like 20 different shampoos, conditioners, lotions and bath things because he loves how good they all smell (every Lush employee knows him)

Guren rolls his eyes at that but he's a clean freak so he's big on hygiene products

Both of them hoard scented candles because that's gay culture

Guren has nightmares often

Shinya feels them happen every time

They don't talk about it much because Guren doesn't want to so Shinya just pulls him closer until they fall back asleep

Shinya got used to his own nightmares so he's not as sensitive

Guren doesn't know (he thinks it's suspicious though)

They both secretly love doing domestic things like shopping for groceries together and even cleaning up because it distracts them from serious stuff

Guren gets teary at sad and touching moments in movies but he denies it every time

Shinya finds it extremely cute

They would love to have a cat but they know it's a lot of responsibility so they can't adopt one

Shinya is a very light sleeper (survival instincts on max bc we all know how his childhood was)

Guren wakes him up every time he goes to bed later than the other

Guren apologizes by kissing his forehead and cheeks softly and threading fingers through his hair

It comforts Shinya and makes him rly happy so soon enough he's asleep again

They ran out of toilet paper once when Guren needed it the most so Shinya had to go to the convenience store because that's what true love is

Sometimes they are both late for meetings because they shower together 👀

He also leaves corny but cute post-it notes on the fridge for Guren when he goes to work early

They go missing and Guren says he throws them out but Shinya never finds a single one in the trash

He knows Guren collects them but he doesn't say anything about it

☾ — The smile on Shinya's face slowly begins to fade, irises now fixated on the hand placed around his wrist. He knew that Guren wasn't happy about the situation, but he was trying to reassure him. "Aha... sorry," his voice comes forth, though not in it's usual playful manner. "I was simply trying to make you feel better is all."

☾ — It was difficult, if he were being completely honest with himself. He knows that the last minute choice he made had been a horribly selfish one. One that Guren would have to live with for all his eternal life now. Forced to live on even after everyone that he knows and loves has died and left him behind on his own.

☾ — Thinking on all of that, perhaps he had made the wrong choice? Maybe he should have simply allowed Guren to die instead of making such a horrible deal with Ferid Bathory to bring the other back? What if Guren wanted to die, so that way he could finally be with his family once again? What if he had brought him endless suffering?

☾ — Crystal blue irises avert themselves away from their hands, drifting slowly. Honestly he had thought they were past these feelings, constantly going back and forth with one another, the guilt and fears, the sadness and misery. But it appeared that wasn't the case, especially given the bickering the two of them just had, even despite the sudden confession of feelings for one another. It would always just be an endless cycle between them, never being able to get past the things that they promised to work on together.

☾ — But perhaps that's the way things were supposed to be?

☾ — The sudden kiss to his hand draws his attention, finally causing irises to once again look upon both of their hands together. Silently watching as the other rested his forehead against the backs of their hands, choosing to simply listen to what the raven had to say before deciding to say anything in return. "I know..." he responds flatly. "I had to act rashly. Remaining calm and collected wasn't going to do me any good in that moment, especially because I couldn't stand to lose the one person who gave my life purpose again. We both know that when it comes to you... I always think with my heart instead of my brain." Shinya hated to admit such a thing. "But don't expect me to simply standby if someone has a problem with the choice I made... because I won't allow them to get away with anything involving you."

☾ — Lifting his free hand, he brings it to Guren's forehead and flicks him. "Don't tell me that keeping you alive is senseless." That notion alone is more than enough for a bitter taste in Shinya's mouth to form. What he did wasn't just some senseless act that he didn't think about. It was something he thought hard on. Honestly, Shinya didn't think he had the will to continue onward without Guren anymore.

☾ — "I'll make sure to kick your ass if you say something like that to me again," he seems a bit bothered, but that doesn't stop him from allowing Guren to place a kiss upon his forehead.

Guren caught one of Shinya’s hand easily, watching it as if it was in slow motion. Yet he didn’t put any pressure to his grip, he just simply held it. “Stop that,” he said softly, a hint of annoyance. “You don’t need to do that to prove to me that you are fine.”

It was the truth, Guren could hear Shinya’s heart beat. Hearing it reminded him that he needed to keep it beating. Especially after what had happened that lead up to the end of the world. It was only fair in a way that Guren get this fate for everything he did.

He smiled a little, stopping himself from thinking that way. After all he now has the chance to be with Shinya until the end with a clear head. One without Mahiru in it, even if Guren was going to out live everyone else some day. He would have to watch them all die again.

Guren looked down at his and the snipper’s hand, holding back. He was holding more of his feelings, not to mention he was feeling that feeling again, that dried out feeling, with acid in his throat. It was dull now, held back by what happened four hours ago, but he knew this was going to be a problem in the next few days. He was hesitant to feed off of Shinya, there was no way in hell he was going to do it to the others.

He really was just a set of blood sucking fangs.

Guren moved slowly as he kissed Shinya’s hand, making sure that his fangs got no where near the snipper’s skin. In the next moment Guren rested his forehead on their hands, as if he did not want to look into those sapphire eyes that he loved so much. “Shinya,” he said softly. “Don’t act so rash. I know you are keeping me alive for selfish reasons, but once word gets out they will hunt you down for this. Not to mention my head.” Guren laughed a little. “Or what is left of it when they kill me.”

Finally Guren looked up, blood red eyes meeting blue. “Keeping me alive makes no sense.” At least that is what Guren though before he heard Shinya confess his feelings to him. Now they made perfect sense. It was a stopgap measure. However, Guren would still fall to demon status when he didn’t have Shinya anymore.

“You are such a moron,” he said softly, before kissing Shinya’s forehead.

9:22 p.m. You enter your shared student flat with the key in one hand and a pineapple pizza in the other. He’s sitting cross-legged in front of his laptop, gnawing on the end of his red pen. You run a hand through his messy hair, scratching slowly over the scalp because you cannot refrain from touching him. He smiles, at ease.

9:51 p.m. He’s sucking tomato sauce from the tips of his fingers, then leans closer to lick over your lips, slipping in between. You moan, satisfied.

10:34 p.m. You’re naked in your bed and he’s under you, he’s upon you, he’s too close, he’s inside of you, he’s - your fingers dig harsh into his hips, holding him in place while you suck marks all over his chest. He’s gasping your name and it sounds like a prayer and a hymn and all the damn promises of the world. You’ll never get enough of this.

10:59 p.m. The place between you is sacred. He’s lying half in your arm, half spread over the bed. Your fingers draw invisible shapes between his shoulder blades. You’ve never loved anyone as much as you love him. It’s enough for now. 

11:42 p.m. You watch him sleep with the crook of his nose pressed close to your collarbone. His dark hair caresses your jawline, brutally tender. You watch the slow rise and fall of his chest and the small smile around his lips. You feel divine.

☾ — Things had been awfully quiet lately, perhaps a little more than he honestly would have liked for it to be, because long periods of quiet often meant that something was going on. Yet at the same time, he was aware that he was paranoid, terribly so, not that anyone who truly knew him could blame him for feeling such a way. They were inside vampire territory after all, growing far too comfortable within the mansion of someone who was once their enemy, such a thing just didn't feel right to the snow-haired male and no matter how hard he tried... he just couldn't make it sit well within him.

☾ — He was taught to survive, to fight tooth and nail so he would be the best, and now here he was being told to relax by the enemy.

☾ — It was something unheard of in his world, and served to be all the more suspicious. Yet there was nothing that he could really do in this situation, so instead of trying to put up a fight against the idea, Shinya Hīragi, simply complied with the the supposed welcome company and decided to keep his thoughts to himself until he found a reason to speak out upon them.

☾ — Hence why he decided to wander, aimlessly so. Hoping that maybe he was simply overthinking everything, that perhaps there really was nothing to worry about for the time being. Though he hadn't realized someone was still awake as he wandered into the kitchen, crystal irises falling upon the other for what seemed to be a singular moment.

☾ — "I'm not here to eat anything," he speaks softly, gaze casted elsewhere, stopping just a few steps away from the red haired female. Seeming as if he was currently distracted with something, though what said thing was wasn't clear. "I couldn't sleep... so I decided to do some late night patrolling."

She sat on the bench, observing the lights tilting in some kind of malfunctioning lamp around the kitchen, creating shadow after shadow through an spectacle of contrast in the darkness. It was a fancy kitchen, perfect for a professional cook, with bowls, galleys and weird tools she couldn't possibly imagine what were they intended for. She didn't help cooking, knowing it was Second Lieutenant Hanayori's realm, but it was sort of vexing being aware that most of the cooking served was up to Guren's whims and tastes.

It was food, made with ingredients quite scarce in their present times, so who was she to complain about the servings?

Aside from the kitchen itself, Ferid's mansion was pretty much creepy. It was an odd place to read some light, friendly novels borrowed from the vampire's immense collection, however, it was also quiet and barely visited by other members of their funny group at the hour of the howl.

Cross didn't hear him entering, not entirely. Maybe she was too immersed in the printed words on the yellowish pages, perhaps he was just a professional in concealing his tracks. Either way, she didn't expect meeting Shinya Hiragi for a midnight snack.

❝I think there's leftovers from dinner,❞ she pointed out, changing the page, her gaze following the albino's tall and well-preserved figure. Knowing he was a walking corpse put her in some kind of uncomfortable edge, regardless of knowing each other for years now. ❝I won't say anything.❞

Help (( sorry I know we almost never interact ))

☾ — TO SAY THAT EVERYONE WAS EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE TASKS GIVEN TO THEM WITHOUT ANY ISSUE WAS AN UNDERSATEMENT WITHIN THE JAPANESE IMPERIAL DEMON ARMY, in fact, often times… if one was not able to successful preform the task given, their dependability would drop and they would either end up working elsewhere within the army or used as vampire bait when such a time for the need would arise. Yet despite this, not everyone could properly carry out their orders, especially that of the younger recruits. Usually they fell short when it came to things like combat compared to the adults or higher ranked working within the army, which was likely to be expected given the circumstances, but sometimes the young ones managed to surprise their superior officers with their abilities, thus earning them a possible safe spot within the masses of the other foot soldiers. But… this situation wasn’t exactly like that. No, the task at hand wasn’t anything combat related in the slightest, but instead mere housework as most would call it. Helping the wounded within the infirmary, helping to cook meals for those who had just returned from battle, working in the few farm fields they had, tending to the laundry of the army, or simply restocking supplies and fetching others from the various storage rooms.

☾ — He had only managed to happen upon her by sheer chance, BUT AS HE WAS PASSING THROUGH THE HALLWAY, he managed to see a rather short female soldier trying her hardest to reach the few items placed upon the highest shelf within the storage room. To say that her struggling was cute would prove inappropriate — especially given the fact he was supposed to be serious around his underlings — so instead he quietly enters the room just enough for her to see him within her peripheral vision. There’s a small wave of the hand to get her attention, but instead of looking at him (perhaps due to embarrassment from being caught in such a situation or simply because she was too focused on her task), she simply mouths the words ‘help’ towards him — so without much effort, Shinya reaches up and over the blonde female — grabbing onto the remaining few items before handing them over to her.

☾ — “Here you go,” HIS WORDS COME FORTH RATHER CHEERFULLY, “We all appreciate your enthusiasm to preform your tasks on your own, but perhaps next time it would be wise to bring someone taller with you? Or maybe just bring a step ladder?” There’s a short but breathy laugh that manages to escape the lips that were pressed into a smile on his face, free hand then coming to rest upon Elyon’s head before giving it a few good ruffles of the hair.

☾ — "If you desire my full support in not ratting you out immediately... yes. You have to tell me."

☾ — THERE'S A SURPRISINGLY STERN EXPRESSION FOUND UPON THE MALE'S FACE. Something many believed uncharacteristic about him, but a rather normal sight to those that truly knew him both inside and out, because he too could be serious as well. As serious as Kureto even, or possibly as someone without a heart.

☾ — Though in truth, DUE TO THE FACT CROSSEYRA DIDN'T KNOW HIM THAT WELL, he tried not to show such a serious side of himself, hence why he merely lets out a sigh, watching silently as she hide behind his clothing. Shinya couldn't help the rather smug smile that slowly began to spread across his features as he heard her explain. He honestly should have expected as much from the other.

☾ — "I can't say that I disagree with that notion there." THE LAUGH THAT MANAGES TO ESCAPE ISN'T DONE ON PURPOSE, but actually something he was trying to hold deep within. Antics like this often reminded him of his younger years. "You really don't know how to hold your tongue, especially not when it comes down to your superior officers it sounds like. I wouldn't worry too much, even if she's looking for you, she won't come into my room without my permission."

☾ — Despite saying all that, HE STILL DECIDES TO CLIMB INTO THE WOODEN WARDROBE WITH THE OTHER, wrapping an arm around her waist.

☾ — "Though that won't stop me form keeping you trapped here with me now, after all, you did interrupt my work session, if you so recall~."

❝D-Do I have to tell about the horrible awful thing I did?❞

The dimensions of Shinya Hiragi's body completely overwhelmed her. She had always been petite compared to the rest, skinny and bonny shoulders and no breasts to show proudly to the world, to gain some confidence in front of dire situations. As Shinya grew bigger, Cross became smaller.

Her hands, by instinct alone, found respite in the clothes stored inside the big wardrobe, pushing the hanging fabric closer to her, hiding all but her face from the Major general. Crosseyra's bashful expression was framed carefully by his jackets and gabardines. She bathed her eyes perhaps five times in the span of one second.

❝I evidently have the manners of an untrained dog.❞ The heart in her chest was pounding at full force, wary of any sounds coming from outside the albino's office. She clutched the fabrics tighter. ❝The horrible awful is I messed up a handful of reports, had to endure a conference with the Colonel and I might have said something about... her sister, which I happened to teach, and... the Hiragis.❞

Aoi kind of deserved it.

❝She might spare my life, but at the cost of a few fingers, perhaps, or my tongue.❞

It was simple. Akio didn’t want anything. Why did Shinya always want to get him something? Christmas is just another pointless holiday to teach children to be even more greedy than they already are. The only thing that Kureto could give Akio that would be better than anything would be his attention. If Shinya really wanted to get Akio something, get him Kureto. Shinya knew well what Akio desired from him. He just won’t give into him though. The raven really didn’t mind getting nothing every Christmas. He had more fun knowing that everyone else was happy. Of course, that didn’t stop Guren from getting him many of things he has a lot of already…

“It doesn’t matter what you meant… That’s the way it sounded. It’s fine. People always treat me like I’m slow anyway… So, I’m used to it.” Akio pushed the paper inside the notebook and closed it with a small smacking sound from the papers hitting each other. It really did hurt knowing that others thought so lowly of him. Just because he couldn’t feel doesn’t mean he’s a monster, right? It’s honestly funny how others don’t understand that they’re the reason he’s this so-called “monster.”

☾ — PERHAPS HE SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED AS MUCH? Akio was always a stubborn child. He’d known that from the very moment he was born. Not to mention the fact that he never seemed all that fond of Shinya in the slightest. Or at least he wasn’t fond of him becoming his step-father due to the fact that Guren ended up marrying Shinya in the end. The little raven never had an issue with him when he simply served as his mentor, was always willing to listen. In fact… he liked to believe that he and his student had a good relationship up until recently. Now the other barely listened. Never wanted anything to do with the older male unless for missions. All Shinya could really do was keep treating him as he always had. Hopefully one day he’d warm up to him, even if said desire was going to be nothing but a long ways off.

☾ — “Listen.” he starts with a soft yet stern tone of voice when speaking to the child, “I’m not calling you slow and you know that for a fact. All I’m saying is that there isn’t an issue doing things how you wish to do them.” SHINYA LEANED BACK IN HIS CHAIR AS A SMALL HUFF MANAGED TO ESCAPE FROM SLIGHTLY PARTED LIPS, right hand pushing his bangs back from his face so now his hair had a tousled look. He was fully aware of how people within human society treated the young child. It was the exact same way that the Hīragi had treated him when he had been adopted into their nuclear family. Perhaps that was why Shinya had grown so attached to his step-son so quickly, not even hesitating to take him in as his pupil. He saw vast amounts of potential in the boy and he was certain that everyone else knew that as well.

"So, is there anything you want for Christmas~?" The white-haired male asked the small child as he sat down beside him, holding a cup of coffee in one of his hands and a notebook in another. (@whitetiger-byakkomaru)

Akio wasn’t one to ask for Christmas presents. There wasn’t much that the child wanted. Just living was good enough for him. Glancing over at Shinya from the kitchen table, Akio just stood and watched. The raven had been working on his homework for the past hour. It wasn’t that he was struggling it was more or less that he kept getting distracted by everything. Akio desperately tried to hide all his bruises and cuts on his face from everyone. His job was harder than he thought. Was power something you could get for Christmas?

“No… I’m fine. I don’t desire anything of the sort. Thanks for asking.” His voice drowned out, leaving everything silent.

{ Not me listening to the Arcane: League of Legends OST while I'm trying to write things out for Shinya.

Honestly, I can see Shinya listening to stuff like this all throughout his teenaged/high school years, especially since I headcanoned Shinya to be somewhat troublesome for the Hīragi family while he was growing up with them (sometimes he ran away like a rebellious teen and caused trouble, sometimes he'd pull pranks and then blame them on someone else). }

☾ — ONE'S ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PLACE OF PRIVACY, a place where one could go to retire when the day's struggles were over, a place that was supposed to be off-limits to all of those around them unless invited to join; yet, that didn't seen to register within the crimson haired woman's mind. She had barged her way in. Just like Goshi often did, or sometimes even Mito as well.

☾ — "W... Wait— just what exactly is the usual for you? What the hell could you have possibly done to Aoi?" he was just about to close the door, but after hearing her say that, he's quick to place his hand in the way so the entry way to the door was now blocked by his body, now casting a somewhat large shadow over the other's body and facial features.

☾ — "If she comes in here looking for you, she'll at least knock on the door before coming inside. You know, unlike you did."

A room befitting of a Hiragi; she saw the glimpse of that thought quickly tossed into the trash with all the rest of her prior preoccupations, mind rewinding over and over again until she came to the conclusion she just needed to be off the radar for a while... (say, a month hiding in Shinya's wardrobe. Was it possible? Didn't matter, it had to be done).

❝Oh, you know, just the usual in this lovely place we call home,❞ she nervously said, words crashing against each other, tiny and helpless inside the wooden forniture and among the selection of clothes lord Hiragi still had in his possessions, attires she had never seen him use not once.

❝If Colonel Sangu comes looking for me, you say I just threw myself out of the window. I'M NOT HERE.❞

☾ — HE HADN'T BEEN EXPECTING COMPANY AT THIS HOUR, hence why he had decided to take the time to work on some backed up paperwork he owed his eldest brother, after all... it wasn't wise to keep information from him. Yet instead of relaxing within the silence of his quarters, he's startled with the sudden entrance of Crosseyra Rowan — and by the looks of it, she appeared to be rather frazzled. Thus why he's quick to rise from his place at the small corner table within his room, quietly making his way over to the smaller female (while also managing to knock a majority of his papers onto the floor by mistake) before placing his hand against the small of her back, guiding her away from the door and over to the large wooden wardrobe just across the room from his bed.

☾ — "Here," he ushers the words in a rushed tone of voice, HANDS QUICKLY PULLING THE DUAL WOODEN DOORS OPEN AS HE CAREFULLY HELPS HER INSIDE, "I don't know what it is that you've managed to do that needs hiding, but you have a lot of explaining to do once you're in the clear. Understood?" Just what in god's name happened for her to need hiding?

She slammed the door behind her, not even knocking, not even saying a proper hello to the Major General of the JIDA. She just went straight inside, pushing the door closed with the weight of her petite back. The entrance shut. No idea what the hell Shinya Hiragi was ideally working on before she entered so ruthlessly to his office, however, Crosseyra stared at him with biblically accurate fear in her eyes.

❝ Hide me,❞ she began, more like begging. ❝ HELP ME HIDE. ❞

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Speka and this is my lovely little blog for the character Shinya Hīragi, from the franchise Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End!

Please be aware that I DO NOT affiliate with the Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End fandom (anymore) and DO NOT always portray Shinya as he should be from said series! Instead, I have somewhat created my own version of Shinya that is 100% mainly affiliated with my multimuse blog @chronosbled (due to having a pair of OCs I've crafted as his biological parents) and with a select few I have as very close friends. This version of Shinya is strictly my own creation and therefore is very different from the original source material. That being said, the vibe that I am going for with Shinya is now more mystical/mystery based (such as his actual origins and such), so if you have a problem with that, I suggest you leave now. Additionally, the only Owari no Seraph characters that will be affiliated with my version of Shinya are the one’s that I also muse (such as @historical-painting), therefore he will behave as if he does not know your muse — this excludes @lendmeyourpower, @vygiler, @anomieheld, and @childoflegend.

Note: Mun has extremely severe insomnia and thus often has spotty activity and response time. Often times she does not sleep for more than a few hours at a time, generally being unable to properly fall asleep and is always in a state of being half awake when actually sleeping (additionally is a naturally light sleeper). She has so much trouble sleeping to the point she can talk to people on the other side of the world (where it is now morning) and still not be able to sleep afterwards. Mun is always in a permanent state of exhaustion despite seeming upbeat. Please be patient.

☾ — "I don't see how that's any of your business?" As if he would be the one to divulge such sensitive information to someone that he didn't even know, especially when he knows exactly what would become of such a thing should certain people find out. "Why not try asking me something else instead that doesn't involve me giving up sensitive information~?"

I see the bite marks Shinya. Is it true Guren is a vampire now? How can you stand keeping him alive by letting him feed off of you?

☾ — "I don't see how anything I've done is any of your business." Whoever was this person anyway and why did they think they could simply speak to him in such a manner? Regardless, it wasn't like he had to explain anything to anyone, especially when it wasn't a requirement. "I suggest you go about your business before you suddenly go missing."
