"I've been told that you are who you spend majority of your time with, and for me, those are my sisters. My big has more kindness in her pinky, than anyone else does in their entire body. My little is one of the brightest people I've ever met. My line sister is as selfless as anyone can be. I can continue with a laundry list, but to sum it up, you will find people of all sorts of greats in aKDPhi. What makes it better than the rest? Perhaps because we are the largest, or because we are the only international Asian-interest sorority. To me, we're the best because we have a pool of girls from all different backgrounds and personalities yet we can all experience this one special thing called sisterhood together. So #whyakdphi? To surround myself with people who I would have never met in the first place and eventually call them my bridesmaids." 💎 💜

"Before college, I didn't socialize with people much. I found it hard to keep a solid group of friends and I barely had any friends that were girls. All I did everyday was play computer games. I spent most of my time online. I stayed in on Friday nights, skipped homecoming, and who never went to prom. I was happy and I had my own fun, but on the inside, I just knew it could be better. I was determined to break out of my shell and do more with myself than just being a gamer. Many of you guys who know me today probably wouldn't have guessed that that person was me just three years ago. Joining kdphi has given my life a complete "makeover" and I am thankful for every opportunity kdphi has given me to grow out of my shell. So why akdphi? Because kdphi is a great sisterhood and organization, filled with all types of girls who all share the same fundamental goals in becoming a better person. Whether it's developing your social skills, your leadership qualities, or giving back to the community kdphi will help you with it all. I love all my sisters and I wouldn't trade them for the world." 💎 💜

"aKDPhi has given me a heartwarming group of friends who support me unconditionally! Through aKDPhi, I was introduced to my Bigs, twin, line and little who are now my family away from home💜 Being in an environment of passionate and hardworking girls is one of many many great things this sisterhood has to offer!" 💎 💜

"Growing up, I was never one to believe in myself and I never took risks because I was too scared of failing. When I came to college, I encountered aKDPhi through various committees and events. Through these encounters, I saw a group of girls that worked passionately in all aspects of their lives. Their work ethic was always something that I admired and I strived to be like them. I wanted a strong, supportive, and friendly group of girls who would encourage me to not only exceed my limits but be there to support me when I fall. I pursued aKDPhi to become a better person by abandoning my fears and staring to believe in myself and my skills. Although my time just started, I can tell that aKDPhi will help me become the best version of myself." 💎 💜

"Before I met my sisters, I felt that my college experience was missing something. Usually, as a freshman, we feel lost at a big campus and want to feel connected by joining greek. But I joined aKDPhi because of the woman I wanted to be and be a part of a sisterhood that can show me many more possibilities and opportunities. Having a sister is like having a best friend that you can call upon when you feel as if you have lost hope. My beautiful sisters have helped me transition in my personal life. The taught me how to enjoy being a girl, but act like a lady to become a strong woman.  Without my sisters, I wouldn't have experienced these lifetime memories. That is why I am a proud sister of aKDPhi!" 💎 💜

"I joined aKDPhi because I wanted a sisterhood and friends that I knew I could always count on. I grew up an only child so i never felt like I had that bond with anyone and  I didn’t have the best support system either. Coming to recruitment events, sisters were friendly and made me feel super welcome. It felt like a second home and a judgement-free place where I could genuinely be myself :) " 💎 💜

"Coming to college, I wanted to find a genuine group of people I could always go to and call home and I think I found that in aKDPhi. Especially getting so close to my big, even after she graduated, we still call all the time. I have people that I know always have my back and who are constantly pushing me to grow and be the best woman I can be." 💎 💜

"aKDPhi gave me a community that I identify with, willing to listen, educate, and take action. Like they say, there is strength in numbers, and having an abundance of sisters internationally shows the advantage. It’s given me a network of sisters that ignite and inspire passion within myself and actualize the woman I was meant to be. From just hearing a sister perform spoken word or seeing a sister take a role in college diversity divisions, I know there is so much that can be done." 💎 💜

"Honestly, I’ve always said I’d never go greek and well… here I am. When I first talked to aKDPhi everyone's vibe was amazing and really welcoming. It felt like a great fit for me and was something completely different than what I’m used to. I thought to just go for it and I couldn’t be happier about my decision!" 💎 💜

"Coming into college during the pandemic was hard as I had lost my social skills during quarantine. I wanted a chance to put myself out there and find girls that I can see myself talking to now and in the future. I had the greatest opportunity of becoming a family with all of the sisters and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. These girls push me to be a better version of myself every single day." 💎 💜

"I personally never thought of joining a sorority, but after attending some events that aKDPhi hosted I knew that is where I belong. Growing up I was never really connected to my Asian culture but with aKDPhi it has taught me to embrace it which I was incredibly grateful that they did. I am so happy that I found a place to call home and my forever sisters." 💎 💜
