My Fates Headcanons

Got bored, enjoy these!

The real way to “break” Nyx’s curse is for her to finally feel comfortable in her own skin. After the war, regardless of if she marries or not, she begins to feel more comfortable as a result of being told she wasn’t a monster by the members of the army, and she begins to notice herself age again.

Also, I HC that she was 17 when she placed the curse on herself, since Corrin mentions that she “looks almost the age of Elise”, of who I HC to be 15/16, but she definitely still looks a little older than her.

She also doesn’t immediately turn like 45 again or whatever. She slowly ages, (so she doesn’t even notice it until a few years later), and because of her health and youth, she will technically live to be a lot older than the average person, because her body also stayed at the health of a 17 year old when the curse was placed. Just another consequence of it. She likely would’ve lived forever if the curse hadn’t broken.

This is based on a continuity error in the box art for the game, where Leo's eyes are green. His natural eye color is green (likely passed down from his mother), but he hates how they look on him (he thinks he looks “too innocent”), so he uses magic to color them burgundy instead. Over the years, this has caused him to develop eyesight problems, so he starts wearing glasses/contacts after the war. This bad vision he’s developed can also be the reason why he always puts his clothes on the wrong way, because in the early morning, he can’t see the tags on the clothes or anything.

Old Hubba makes his einherjar cards kiss in private (bonus points for him also adding cartoon kiss noises like that scene in Spongebob where Patrick makes Squidward kiss the pickle)

Forrest goes vegetarian after his supports with Kiragi (he even mentions “never wanting to eat meat again” in it after Kiragi teaches him how to hunt)

Forrest also goes full Elle Woods Bruiser’s Bill after the war and uses his status as royalty to ban all animal testing in Nohrian cosmetics

I don’t care if this isn’t lore accurate, because I’m pretty sure there’s contradicting evidence to this one. But, the light returns to Nohr once it is under a fair and just ruler. That’s why it was always so dark when Garon ruled, and when the king before him ruled. It’s always a slightly colder climate than Hoshido, but overall, once Xander takes over, the crops begin to thrive more, the sun shines for longer, and the people are happier.

This also makes Leo’s BR Cipher card all the more tragic, because the darkness around him indicates that Nohr ISN’T under a fair ruler, and Leo’s mentions of “wanting friendly rivalries between Hoshido” kind of prove that he’s not exactly well… Basically I hate Birthright because how could you do this to him 😭

This is a favorite of mine. Subaki’s name in the JP version is Tsubaki, right? Okay, so my headcanon is that that is the real spelling of his name the whole time, even in the English version. But people kept spelling it as “Subaki” instead of “Tsubaki” and it pissed him off, so he pulled a Galinda/Glinda and just took the T out.

The plot of Warriors is an elaborate dream that every single character in it is having, and Owain came up with his nickname of “Odin Dark” after him dream-self called himself “Owain Dark”. Almost like Barbie: A Fairy Secret (my childhood favorite movie), where the dream ends and everybody’s like “I had this strange feeling that Nohr and Hoshido were friends…”

Beruka is 5 feet tall exactly. Camilla likes to tease her for this and she despises it

Another Wyvern one - Leo is deathly afraid of heights, which is why he’s the only royal sib not to have Wyvern in his kit at base. That poor guy probably had a panic attack going down the Bottomless Canyon… probably why he isn’t in that scene lmao I want him to go down my bottomless canyon-

If they aren’t marrying each other… Leo and Takumi are each other’s Best Man when they get married

Leo’s entire music taste was stolen from Niles, who showed him what the “real” brooding music was.

In terms of heights of the Nohrian siblings - Xander is 6’0, Camilla is 5’11, Leo is 5’9, and Elise is 5’3

Ryoma is 5’10, since it’s canon that he’s smaller than Xander. Adding to this, Hinoka is 5’8, Takumi is 5’7, and Sakura is also 5’3

Age headcanons!!!

Xander is 27, Camilla is 24, Leo is 18/19 (he canonically celebrates his birthday during the events of the game if you have Effie and Niles reach an A support), Elise is 15. Ryoma is 26, Hinoka is 22 (only canon age in the game iirc), Takumi is 18, and Sakura is 16. Corrin is pretty perfectly situated in being 23 then. Azura would then also be around the same age. (Which in turn also tracks for Arthur, who is absolutely around that age too, and he’s canonically abt the same age as Azura.)

For their children, Siegbert is 17, Nina is 15, Forrest is 13, and Ophelia is 14 (born same year as Nina, just a lot later). Shiro is 18, Caeldori is also 18, Kiragi is 12, and Selkie is 13. Kana is 9 and Dwyer is 16. Shigure is 18 and Midori is 12.

F!Byleth's child, Avery has been completed now! Me and @creativesplat collaborated on his design and personality, again its been so much fun :D

As with the previous post, this was inspired by @midday-headcanons beautiful characters :D Please go and check out their work!!

Avery is Citri inspired as apposed to Jeralt inspired and is thus quite different from his counterpart. He has Jeralt's eye colour and the hair in the style of Citri, with TS Byleth's hair colour.

Avery is very fond of the myths of Seiros and her company and so dyed his hair at the bottom to imitate the images from the legends and stories he was told as a child.

He - as his counterpart has a variety of designs that change according to who parents him.

His hair always maintains some of the pale green of his mother's hair, except in the CF designs which have the darker pre TS hair.

The first portrait pair is essentially the same as his default appearance, he partially inherits the hair colour of his parents. In the case of Dimitri, he has a blue hair tie like his father, and Yuri's Avery has the same makeup look as his pre TS father.

The second is a shorter hairstyle, parents with shorter hair will give this style to Avery. In the case of Dedue and Claude, their skin tones were used at 60% opacity over the original skin tone because Basilio m!Morgan's ghost white skin is not to be repeated. Avery also gains an earring from both fathers. similar design motifs from other cast members would be conserved as well.

The third style is the long hair style. Ferdinand and Felix give Avery this hairstyle. Lorenz would also.

Finally CF Avery, like his counterpart, he has a less happy default expression and for Jeritza and Hubert, he inherits his fathers' heavy eye-bags.

Thank you so much!! I've had so much fun! I've been following your child units art for ages now, but was too awkward to send anything other than the odd anonymous ask! It's so lovely to get a compliment from you XD

Entirely inspired by @midday-headcanons gorgeous FE child units, me and my friend @creativesplat were chatting about how we might design some, and I've created M!Byleth's child! Unfortunately, F!Byleth's child still needs a bit of editing, I was hoping to post them together, but here is female Avery!

Design notes:

She has Jeralt's hair colour and Byleth's TS eye colour, and a Sothis themed braid. She braids in pale hair to match her father's. I haven't yet designed her clothes, since I'm not very good at clothes and have struggled to design her face already XD. Male Avery will be more Citri inspired than the Jeralt inspired female Avery :)

She has a few customisations based on parent which I have designed some of:

Characters with shorter hair or who are quite down to earth have the short hair option Avery, such as Leonie and Shamir.

Characters who have more extravagant hairstyles or who are a bit more proper have the bun variant of Avery, such as Ingrid and Marianne

Manuela gives Avery some very pale orange colour on her eyelids and her necklace; Lysithea gives Avery the sickly skin tone like Edelgard does.

I may add some more variants later, but these two are the last for the moment.

Any marriage in the CF route will end up with CF Avery, who has an imperial braid, Byleth's post CF eyes, and an unhappy default expression, due to being born after completion of the anti-SS, VW, and AM route. Here is an example of Edelgard and Bernie. Eddie, as Lysithia has a paler and slightly sicker looking Avery.

I have had. so. much fun doing this, but also, it was a bit of a struggle. Here are some documented early stages of design XD

I actually kind of like the micro-bangs, but couldn't get them to look quite right.

At this point I sent her bald head to my friend @creativesplat to try and give her a haircut XD

I loved the braid idea and eventually just. tried a ponytail

I also couldn't decide on colours, I knew that I wanted some Jeralt, but I wasn't sure how much, I tried a dip dye with Byleth's hair colour (though have lost that picture), pale green hair, I even toyed with the idea of a peri style dual toned eyes... XD

This was honestly so much fun and I would like to thank @midday-headcanons for inspiring me to do this, I have enjoyed the process so far immensely!

When I was about 8 I spent the majority of a 6 hour drive (I don’t live in America so that’s like the longest drive ever) listening to one of the 10 songs that my dad had put on the- i think - iPod on repeat and imagining Tom and b’elanna from startrek voyager’s wedding. I imagined and reimagined that wedding until it was perfect. I think the song was Royksop ‘Only this moment’ which is the kind of song that a dad would have on an iPod. I was only diagnosed with autism when I was 18.

There is a chance that the AI will target your account, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT FROM THE USA, and flag it as an underage account because of your watching habits. Therefore, requiring you to provide your identification or photo to YouTube in order to continue using their services normally and not have your account deleted.

And here is the kicker: IF YOU DON'T and continue to use the service disregarding your account's newly found underage classification, THEY WILL CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN WATCH EVEN MORE. They are banking on you being too tired to fight this, and just accepting it as the new normal.

This is a blatant ploy to monitor the people and gather massive amounts of data to sell to governments, plural. If it works without too much of a hiccup in the US (and in the UK as well, since over there it's affecting every online service), other countries will follow suit.

If you are in the US, you have to fight this.

They've already come for Steam and Itch as a way of controlling self-expression and speech. This is yet another tool of censorship. And it WILL affect all of us, globally, eventually, because the internet serves a lot more people than the US and the UK, and the rules are applied mostly equally.

Share the boycott plan. Tell your friends and family about it. It will affect them, too.
