I may be annoying but this post is really rough (and long).

So, I want to share with you my opinion about the House fandom, bc sometimes it pisses me off.

• I hate when people change characters' personalities only to fit their "imaginations", or make their personality shallow. Fandom sees Wilson as a cute silly puppy and House's partner that is girly (including mtf headcanons). In reality he sometimes can't stand House, he's a cheater (and btw people hate Taub saying this as a reason but at the same time they love Wilson) and he's so womanizer NOT GAY😭. Also RSL is a good looking man, so I assume they like Wilson bc of this and hate taub because he's a short, balding man with a big nose.

I know, you're having fun and I sometimes also joke that Wilson is gay but I'm not believing it, I don't see him as that cute kawaii boi, I see him as a human being with human needs.

• WHY PEOPLE HATE CHARACTERS BC OF SHIPS. I think ships are the biggest fandoms problems, they always focus on relationships, forgetting about plot. People hate Cuddy or Amber because they ship Hilson - what the helly, House were obsessed about Cuddy, Wilson finally found someone who matches him.

• Headcanons are not only to choose characters sexuality and pronouns. I see very few headcanons on various other topics that are much more interesting. Let's be creative and not give Chase a million colorful flags. What makes you think he's transgender, or gay, or lesbian or idk... He's so hetero cis male. Let's talk about their music or movie taste, favourite animal, lifestyle, EVERYTHING. To be clear - I'm not saying sexuality headcanons are bad, but I barely can see something other than these. (And let's not exaggerate that Foreman is gay, bisexual, and asexual all at the same time. Let's not give them a bunch of meaningless flags that are mutually exclusive)

• Why people make themselves believe these... Hm I don't know how to explain but I mean: Taub - cheater, jew, Chase - kids kisser (😭), Chi Park - weirdo, Kutner - suicide, ect.

Taubs personality isn't only cheating and being jewish, he has more advantages and disadvantages.

Chase did it ONCE. I don't support it, I find it disgusting, but Chase doesn't abuse kids. He did it out of stupidity, but he didn't do it throughout the entire show and his haters mainly cite that as a reason to hate him.

Chi Park - yes she is weird but who isn't? Every character is weird in their own way, that's what this show is all about - showing true human nature. She's awkward? Wow, many people are. Don't make it her whole personality, I think if we could see more of her, she could show us how good she is.

I feel like people only talk about Kutner's suicide. They can't see his personality. Mostly they don't even know his name is Lawrence, or that he was bullying kids in school. Of course, there are people who actually have reflections on his death, but this is the main topic when it comes to Kutner.

I hope you know what I mean by these key words. (These were just a few examples, because there are many more)

Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to spoil the fun, but these people are real 😭 I also am a fandom person but I don't think like that for real. I don't want to sound weird and complaining, but I am amazed when people think like that.

Despite everything, I love this fandom and I think we're one of the funniest (especially the Polish fandom... As always)

or when they love House but hate Amber. Bro, Amber is literally female House. I feel like they hate her just bc of hilson. I hate when everything is about shipping, that's not the plot😭🙏🏻

i still don't get people who hated amber during the hiring game show arc. cmon i saw her manipulate some of her competition into quitting and steal house's keys and I was like. i'm in love.

kutner name headcanons:

chose to change his last name to Kutner as a way to not always think about his dead parents. it didn't exactly work

lawrence is like. he likes his name but doesn't really think it fits him that well. probably has some middle name he's tried to go by but it didn't stick

also has gone by a million different nicknames(wren, ren, renny, law etc.) over the years but laurie is the one that's stuck the most. like he's tried every nickname possible (besides like. larry.) I can see him being called wren/ren/ even renny when he was a kid and teenager.

his adoptive parents are probably the only people who really call him lawrence, his friends always calling him by nicknames and his coworkers calling him kutner.

i think he likes trying out new identities and stuff, and trying out different names/nicknames is part of it.

he also LOVES calling people by nicknames

-When he sees diamond on survival he is so excited

- He always wanted to speedrun the game but never did

-He plays on console (mostly PS but I see him as an Xbox person)

-He wanted to convince Taub and Thirteen to make their own server but they both said no

-After a hard day at work he always plays mc

-He had few online friends in Minecraft
