willa loved a ferris wheel. she loved to feel like she's on top of the world, looking down at all the busy and bustling people below. the pretty lights as far as the eye can see. she couldn't find summer anywhere, so poor @zacharyduval had to accommodate. she had tugged him along, not really giving him the choice. not really asking if he was comfortable with heights or not. too busy wanting to get through the queue to get one of the seats.

it stops at the top, a gentle nudge of her shoulder against his. "i might have slipped the controller a couple bucks to stop up here." willa teases ... whether there was any truth to it though, was up for debate. though it did sound like something she would do. "it is pretty up here though. everyone looks like little ants down there."

willa grabs the blender and moves about her small kitchen to grab whatever else she needs to make them. she always has margarita ingredients in her cupboards, because one never knows when the situation calls for it. "that's only when trey is on shift." the red-head hums to show she's listening as she prepares the mix. "i went to mexico once with my dad, he had a show, and that's when i fell in love with this delicious little drink." holidays with the grant's was never boring, and she was very blessed to have been able to experience all she did.

"those are the best kinds, sum'." in the past, willa had been guilty of not taking relationships that seriously. whether she would admit to it, she had been terrified of commitment. it was too permanent, too serious, and it tended to activate her flight response. so she'd keep them fun and loose, something she could walk away from at anytime. but lately she was feeling like something was missing, a kind of emptiness that she was just pure ignoring and filling with all the fun she's having. "it's because you think too much, and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that." sometimes willa wished she thought about things a lot more, had a bit more of a filter. "but sometimes that thinking stops you from just living, from experiencing something that could have your heart racing."

it's like he has this innate ability to have her melt into him, the very second his hand touched her. hell, sometimes with even a look. hands circle his forearms, dragging upwards to his broad shoulders as his arms look around her waist. perhaps a little dramatic of a word indeed, she'll give him that. red-head lets out a small hum, head tilting back just enough to keep her emerald eyes on his chocolate ones. "do you have anything planned?" fuck, she can't remember the last time they had a child-free night. not that she ever wanted one, but a night that was just them? sounded like heaven right about now.

kidnap  is  …  a  little  steep  of  a  word.    they're  with  his  dad,  where  they  can  be  endlessly  entertained  so  the  two  of  them  can  have  their  home  to  themselves.           “    kidnapped  is  a  strong  word, @willagrant .       ”  reaches  slowly  for  her,  fingers  gliding  around  side  of  her  ribs  to  rest  at  the  small  of  her  back,  bringing  her  in  closer  still,  letting  his  arms  loop  ‘round  her.    “     you  and  i  haven’t  had  a  night  in  to  ourselves  in  a  long  time.   so  dad  agreed  to  take  the  kids  until  as  late  as  we  need  tomorrow.      ”     the  dutiful,  albeit  amused  grandpa.
