Art Block

Art block is really annoying. You want to start making art but you start overthinking. Witch leads to thing number one:

Don't overthink it!

Art is about expresing your feelings, it doesn't need to be a masterpiece, just do what you feel. It can be a sketch too, it doesn't have to look like a whole picture.

That goes especially for story writing and song writing. I see people show many tutorials on the internet how to write a story/song. Do not listen to them. Write what you feel. Let your imagination flow. You don't need special instructions to do it.

Opinions

I usually get really sad when I get a bad comment from someone. But that doesn't mean that I am going to do what they said. I am going to follow my heart.

*note: If you are going to art school, you should listen to the art teachers critics. They are profesionals and they know what they are saying. They want you to get better.

When I was a beginer at writting songs I was, and still, very anxious to show other people my songs. I showed once to my friend and she made fun of them and I just stopped for sometime.

Never get sad over that. If you love it do it.

No ideas

If you have no ideas, don't rush, it will come sooner or later. Insparations usually, for me,  come to me when I am very emotional. If you want to make art now then here are the things that help me get ideas:

Music

The melody and the words always inspire me to make something. It works for painting and drawing.

Randoom doodles

When I really want to draw something I start doodling random thing and then suddenly I get the interesting ideas.

Random words

I use this for writing songs usually. You can litterally just say a random word and you could make a song/text about it.

For exsample:

Apple:

"He had apple red cheeks

Apple red lips, so sweet..."

Eraser:

"I wish that my past was writen by pencil so I can just easily erase it with a eraser..."

Feet

hmmm lemme think...

Well, I think there are 18 bc horses dont have feet. They have hooves. Also it depends if someone doesnt have a leg or someone does not live on the farm. So idk, none of that has been specified. They just said he has a wife, 5 chickens, 2 horses and a farm. And also it depends if the farmer and his wife are even human, they could be even furries as all of we know. BUT myb they live in a universe where species look different! Myb the chickens look like humaniod monsters who dont even have feet! OR MYB THE FARMER HAS AMNESIA AND HE THINKS HE HAS A WIFE, 5 CHICKENS, 2 HORSES AND A FARM!....

Ugh so many possibilites...
