ugly sketch of melkor and mairon/sauron because i was trying to cheer myself up after the loss of my phone. didn’t work. gave melkor kinda hairstyle with curly hair because. how does hair even work. also gave mairon darker skin.

Sauron dragged Melkor out of Angband. Melkor shouted, "Put me down! Hey! I am your supreme master!"

Okay the last thing I finished was poetic/weird angbang fluff, which was happy for them I think. They would still murder me though, because it’s Melkor/Morgoth and Sauron/Mairon.

It’s a shame there isn’t more angbang dancing fics/art in this fandom. They NEED the homoerotic tension of a slow waltz. Or the queerplatonic tension. Or whatever tension I just need em on the dancefloor being gay

I just keep thinking about Doggerland and Beleriand. The parallels are there!

Doggerland being a landmass that connected england and the rest of Europe that was covered by water due to rising sea levels (and at one point was island before completely submerged)

Beleriand connected to middle earth (representing england) and sunk due to rising sea levels, leaving behind a few islands. (according to Wikipedia it was a rapid rise in sea level as well)

There’s been research about it since the early 1900s, which means that there is a non zero chance that Tolkien could’ve heard about it.

I can’t be the only one who sees, at least, a slight connection.
