BALON GREYJOY’S FUNERAL - KING’S LANDING & PYKE

January 13-17, 2020

The Prime Minister’s body will lie in state in the Red Keep’s rotunda for three days before a public funeral on January 16. It will then be transported to Pyke for a family burial.

MARCH FOR JON ARRYN - OLDTOWN

The march will begin at 9 a.m. in front of Baelor University’s student center and end in front of The Citadel.

Open to the public, the first lecture of the year focuses on the history of dragons and delves into scientific research that indicates they might not be entirely extinct.

The gala benefits scholarship students studying film at universities in Starfall and The Vale.

From singles night and specials at the Wintertown Pub to the five course prix fixe menu at Lion in Lannisport, there is a plethora of options for everyone. The Golden Kraken nightclub in King’s Landing has happy hour on the first floor for the entire evening and a VIP area on the second. For those who prefer a more low-key event, the movie theater in Storm’s End is hosting a day of romantic comedies from the 1990s; a ticket allows guests to attend as many showings that day as they wish.

UNBOWED, UNBENT, UNBROKEN MUSIC FESTIVAL - SUNSPEAR

February 20-23, 2020

The premier music event of the year, affectionately referred to as U3, takes place on a large ranch northeast of the city. Attendees have the option of camping, glamping, or staying in hotels and being shuttled to the grounds each day.
