On June 19th, 2019 Mojave Logistics began testing Lotophedra HCL on human subjects. Three days later, after not receiving the results they had hoped for, they increased the dosage by 300 milligrams. No one is clear on what transpired in the following moments but we can verify that the building used for testing was destroyed. 250 employees were never seen or heard from again. Each of their families received a thousand dollar donation and a sympathy card from Nathaniel Godwynn, founder and CEO of Mojave Logistics.

LORE ENTRY 3: The Angel Orchid
EPISODE MENTIONS
Mentioned in Episode 1
Built in bookshelves surrounded the door but in place of the books that covered every other wall in that bananas ass shop were a series of old fashioned mason jars. The jars themselves were dusty but friends, our keen eyes can confirm that each was canned with care and precision. Fine lace and expensive bows were laid intricately to form complex designs on the lids, and if our Driver had to give those designs a name, he would likely choose the word ‘sigil,’ as this is what jumped to mind most readily when he saw them. The most interesting thing about the jars, and this was true of most jars he supposed, were not the lids but rather the contents. Inside was a viscous pink fluid, reminiscent of liquefied flesh, enveloping a crystalline bubble that can be seen clearly from all sides and inside the sphere is an orchid rooted to the base of the jar. In the first jar, beginning at the stem, the petals are cyanide blue fading into darker and darker hues until ending in black. A small bright flame burns in the labellum mirroring the cyan, flickering just above the blackest part of the petals. The same is true for each proceeding jar, with the only difference being the shade of the base and flame. Finally, each jar had a label written in beautiful red script that swooped and curled meticulously like threaded needles. Some were old and faded so thoroughly that our Driver could not read them but the last appeared fresh and clear, stating: No. 0665, August 2021. The one before contained a descending number and a date 50 years prior, and the trend continued: descending number, August, 50 years. There were hundreds of these jars and if the pattern did not deviate, and mind you, he was surely no mathematician, but these dates had to stretch back tens of thousands of years. But that couldn’t be right. Couldn’t be right at all.
Mentioned in Episode 3
Once a year, Thillia had a huge festival that spread well outside the boundaries of the tiny village. To hear the elders tell it, people would come from far and wide to spend a week there celebrating the gift of the gods once known as Soma and now known as illicit. Before I began searching, Soma was the foundation of our spiritual practice. The petals of the angel orchid would be placed in a burner in the center of the room and parishioners would sit silently, breathing deep and slow until every mind melded into one and allowed them to experience the truth of consciousness. The truth of the interconnected spirit that exists within us all. Now though, because of me, Soma is illegal and possession is punishable by death.
BACKGROUND
The angel orchid is a plant used for religious purposes in the future during the time of our Archaeologist. It was initially created by R E D A C T E D as a way to collect the souls of previous overseers. Over time the plant evolved to propagate itself. This occurred after the discovery of the vault that held the orchids R E D A C T E D over and cared for for so long. During the excavation one of the jars broke and the orchid fell onto the earth below. The workers, to avoid further damage, retired for the day to reassess the situation with the financiers of the team.
Overnight the flower had rooted into the soil and sprouted numerous vines and offshoots. The orchid holds the will of the parasitic version of the Heart as well as the psychic energy of the overseer keeping watch at any given time. So, many believe that once these energies were released from the jar it immediately ensured its own survival.

LORE ENTRY 2: The Mojave Logistics Archaeological Survey Team (MLAST)
Built of a group of individuals handpicked by Nathaniel Godwynn, all from scientific, fringe religious, or military background.
**NO COMMUNISTS WERE USED IN THE FORMATION OF THIS TEAM.
Members:
Dr. Rosalind Byne: (age 42) Once a well respected Corporal in the US Army Corp of Engineers before being dishonorably discharged for stealing state secrets. It is commonly believed that Nathaniel Godwynn was her lover in the time period prior to her theft. The documents she is said to have stolen were then, and remain, classified. Interventions were made on her behalf by the Mojave Logistics legal team and her record was wiped clean though she is banned from further participation in the military. Education: PHD in Archaeology from Massachussettes Institute of Technology (MIT) Bachelors in Anthropology (MIT)
Rosy Byne: (age 21) Daughter of Rosalind and youngest member of the team. Known to be brilliant and "an absolute joy to be around," it is often said the team would've fallen into their dark times sooner had she left them to their own devices. Though she had no formal education she proved in the long run to be one of the most valuable members of the team and had a knack for "feeling out an area" and locating harder to reach areas of excavation sites and cave depths. Many a cavern was mapped with her jubilant assistance.
Daniel Rosenthal: (age 44) Transferred directly over from the UKSF as part of a large real estate deal negotiated on behalf of the UK government. Some believe Nathaniel Godwynn financed the purchase specifically to acquire Rosenthal. He was known in various circles, including a late stage high level Thelema oriented crowd known to play host to both NASA Rocket Scientists and cult religious leaders alike. Very likely one of the only living people ever to accomplish a true to life feat of magic, harnessing powers mankind is not meant to know.
Tyrone Bowens: (age 25) Originally from one of the worst ghettos in America, Tyrone showed promise as both an athlete and a scholar from an extremely early age. Upon the loss of his parents at age 15 he was moved across the country to live with his aunt, Tameika Bowens, a VP of Strategic Acquisition who worked closely with Nathaniel as far back as the initial public offering of Godwynn Enterprises. Within 3 months of the move, Tyrone was working as an intern and in-office assistant to the entire Strategic Acquisition team. His role on the survey team saw him responsible for the team's relationship to the local communities surrounding potential research areas. Most that knew him before his untimely death, remember him as a gentle and funny individual aside from his known lovers, who tend to say quite the opposite.
Robert Orange: (age 56) Older brother of Agent Russel Orange, head of security for ML and GE. While both brothers exhibited qualities their own mother referred to as "textbook fuckup traits," Robert had far fewer of the redeeming characteristics present in his younger sibling. This fact conjured a hard life, full of frustration and self victimization which led to an addiction to morphine and a penchant for pharmaceutical grade methamphetamines that eventually careened out of control and siphoned off the little bit of a life he had pieced together. During this time Russel and Robert lost contact for years prior to reuniting in late 2015 after the loss of Russel's wife, Magdalene Godwynn. After a few years of working closely together at the helm of security, Russel lobbied to get his brother a place on MLAST where he would provide security services as well as, and this is generally unknown, keep Agent Orange abreast of the research conducted.

LORE ENTRY 1: The Lotophages (slang: lotus eaters)
(see also: Prism Wyrm, physical form)
Originating on the Isle of Djerba, Tunisia. Circa 1200 BC.
Photograph by the Mojave Logistics Archaeological Survey Team (date unknown)
In the years after Odysseus made landfall on the isle of Djerba around 1220 BCE the Lotus eaters began to change. In his time, the lotus transfixed them and it's narcotic effect was substantial, promising sheer ecstasy for any who imbibed. But in the centuries following his visit the Lotus evolved and the nature of the Lotus Eaters did as well. The lotus flower developed a new and highly addictive psychedelic chemical previously unknown to man. And due to this new influence the Lotus Eaters became a mirrored opposite of their former selves. A new age of enlightenment was upon them and they made discoveries of the self and the intrinsic nature of humanity as well as a nearly whole understanding of the physics of the physical plane.
Some say they learned the very nature of the gods themselves. But unbeknownst to them, the change in the lotus was triggered by the formation of a god beyond even their comprehension. What initiated this formation is unknown but some fringe historians believe it occurred as a defense mechanism against the Greek colonization of the Mediterranean, as the knowledge the Lotus Eaters accrued should never fall into the hands of humanity as a whole. Because when all the questions are answered and the mystery is gone the world's religions would lose sway over the people they are designed to control.
One evening a large rumble was heard across the island during the dead of night and in the morning, villagers found a new cave had formed near the coast.
Ahl'ak's Grove (date unknown)
As described in the Lotophagia scrolls (discovered by the Mojave Logistics Survey Team in the mid to early 2000s, exact date unknown:)
"as whereupon we entered we found a grove where a grove should never be. a flood of color greeted us, enraptured thus, were we.
"the light, we noticed, was different here, honeyed scents sat upon the breeze, and not one of us could remember a time when we were more at ease."
In the center of this grove they discovered [R E D A C T E D]
[R E D A C T E D]
Soon, [R E D A C T E D] emerge and take them all within [R E D A C T E D] from that junction the Prism Wyrms were born.
