however, JASMINE'S own irritation corresponded with his own, they both finding a way to soothe one another, KAA gently loops over his shoulders and her fingers trace down his patterns. his tongue flickers sharply as he speaks.

he did believe she ought to take her role as a princess a bit more seriously, they all had roles to play and being one of royalty and responsibility was a big tag, especially for a young girl -- however, he was not blind to the unjust handling of said young girl by the certain advisor... so he holds his tongue, this time.

       ❝ –   IF THERE'S ANYTHING TO BEGIN WITH.  ❞ perhaps a little harsh but spoken from a long time acquantance with the sloth bear, a really long time that he's sure has taken years, no at least five of his nine-lives from his life span. with his oafish behaviour and total disregard to reason, especially when it comes to the man-cub. THE PANTHER makes himself take in a breath to calm his irritated thoughts -- it would be unfair to focus on only the negative, when the question was about the opposite. after all, there were reasons they were friends as cubs , and then to become guardians to MOWGLI when the time came, while his decisions in being a caretaker were questionable... he trusted BALOO.

after a few hurdles in the brain he reached the finish line. you couldn't trust anyone in the jungle, BAGHEERA had very few names he could think he could go to in time of need, but BALOO. the bear had a heart as big as his appetite, his love for MOWGLI was practically instant and the panther couldn't deny the immediate connection -- as though it were meant to be, and when he finally got through to him about MOWGLI'S safety living with him, how his love for him was more dangerous than with the man village. he took his word, he had attempted to do what was best for mowgli, he put him first.

       ❝ –   baloo is... devoted. regardless of what it is, whether it'd getting his favourite food, or protecting his loved ones. he'll do whatever it takes.  ❞
