From the Wizardry Gaiden III manual that took me FOREVER to find a scan of:
Tumblr media
[■年齢
転職をしたり,宿屋に泊まったりと徐々に歳をとってゆき、50歳を過ぎると生命力を弱いくなっていきます。さらに歳をとると消失してしまうこともあります。]
[■Age
Changing classes and resting in the inn gradually makes you older, with aging past 50 making your vitality weaker. Also, there is a chance of disappearing(? - with old age).]
I couldn't find an actual discussion on age so I had to seek the information out myself on this game. Basically, you can avoid aging by never dying (a random chance of +1 year), never changing classes (how much you age is RNG - you can go 14 -> 20), and never resting in the inn (+1 year?* Have a priest heal you or drink medicine to recover HP).
*I haven't seen aging from resting at the inn. Maybe I'm just not playing long enough.
