My name is *Somaya*, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. But life in Gaza leaves us with no other option but to *speak our pain out loud* and *ask for help with a trembling heart*. 💔

A few days ago, my beloved father, * Ismail*, was severely injured in a missile strike.

He was just trying to protect us—his family of eight—when the explosion shook everything.

He was hit in the abdomen by shrapnel, and the injury caused *dangerous internal damage*. The doctors say he has a *serious intestinal leak* and needs *emergency surgery*.

But here in Gaza, such treatment is not possible. We need to *transfer him out* for proper care—and the cost is overwhelming: *over $5,000*.

We are a family struggling to survive in a war zone. We’ve already lost our home. We sleep in fear every night.

And now, we are watching our father suffer, helplessly.

Ibtisam and her children are under HEAVY FIRE in Jabaliya, north Gaza tonight

A heavy IOF assault is under way in Jabaliya. The bombing and shelling are constant and all around them. The explosions are so close that the shockwaves are interfering with Nour’s heartbeat!

The family is afraid that even if the bombs don’t kill them, the panic and shockwaves will stop 15-y/o Nour’s heart, which is already weak due to a lifelong condition.

They need to get out of this area and find relatively safer lodging ASAP!! They need $2000 usd (about $2,791 cad) to evacuate and pay rent for a safer space.

I've& been meaning to raise awareness of this but two Mi'kmaq children, six year old Lily & four year old Jack Sullivan, have been missing in rural northeastern Nova Scotia & this is the fourth day. They were reported missing around 10 a.m. Friday. They were last seen on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station. They have yet to be found. Their mother Malehya Brooks-Murray & stepfather, Daniel Martell, have told local media "they were sleeping with their 16-month-old baby on Friday morning as the older children played in the house. But when they awoke later in the morning, the two children were gone." The RCMP believe the pair, members of the Mi’kmaq First Nation community of Sipekne’katik, wandered off from their home and probably entered a heavily forested area. Now, to me&, as a survivor myself&, this is VERY suspicious.

Please keep your eyes out for them. This is yet another case of MMEIP/MMEIWG2S+. This is going on constantly, all the time. Please share this around. These are literal tiny indigenous children.
