Ya know what? I think the primarch project would have turned out better if the emperor had just created them the normal way. Coward was too afraid to impregnate himself, but the primarchs really needed that 6-9 month bonding period. Chaos would've had a harder time stealing them if they were inside him.

Well, the apothecary visit was... something.

Getting them to the clinic was easy enough. I just bribed them with half of the leftover ham I had in the fridge and got them all snug in an old picnic basket I lined with a blanket to keep them comfortable.

So, first off, the apothecary says the three kits are all surprisingly well fed and healthy. No parasites or illnesses to worry about, but we got them vaccinated just in case. And aside from a few scars it looks like Big Angy's been doing a good job of protecting and raising the other two kits despite being a kit himself.

Which leads to another thing the apothecary brought to my attention: Big Angy's apparently a Daemon Primarch kit, which explains why he's got those weird metal things (they're called "Nails") in his head and why he's bigger and moodier than Annie and Ronnie, who are regular Primarch kits.

They said it wouldn't be too much an issue though, since having Annie and Ronnie means they'd be a great help in keeping Big Angy calm since they have the ability to take away someone's pain which the Nails are supposed to cause if he's not attacking anything.

We left the clinic after filing up some paperwork, the apothecary's human prescribing us some vitamins I'm supposed to supplement their meals with and a schedule for the next time we're supposed to have another check up.
