Just a hopelessly romantic 19 year old that spent an hour looking through your page to find a new lgbt movie to watch!! Any personal suggestions?
Unfortunately a lot of them are sad ending period pieces. One of those sad ending period pieces that is actually very funny throughout the movie that I love is “Wild Nights with Emily.”
Randomly there is also a short two series show on YouTube (regular youtube, not youtube red) called “Unfortunately Ashly” that I actually find delightful. It is modern, fun and quirky with happy endings.

I recently came out to my very religious brother. I was really afraid to tell him as I expected worst case scenarios.
His response, “I want someone who cares about you the same way as David and Patrick from Schitt’s Creek.” Representation is a huge deal. LGBTQ portrayal makes a difference. I don’t think this would have been his reaction just a couple years ago.
