This is Fujichrome Velvia 50, a colour reversal film originally launched in 1990 by Fujifilm to battle Kodaks dominance on the film scene. Developing negative film in Lightroom In the Develop module, if you invert the tone curve, the scanned negative image is 'magically' inverted into a positive photo. That's it - just drag both ends of the tone curve, and voila! Now you can edit the 'developed' image just like a digital image. A word of caution; the colours can be tricky to restore, depending on film type. Commodore Amiga 2000 and a model 1081 monitor. According to Wikipedia the Amiga 2000 was released in 1987. I got my specimen (above) in the late eighties. As you can see it's got dual 3.5 inch floppy disk drives, and the 5.25 inch slot contains a hdd. Todays electronics lecture: the temp. sensor This is a temp. sensor. It is used to measure the level of temptation an object discharges, which is very handy when you're struggling to keep away from unhealthy but tempting substances, because it let's you know which places to avoid. I kidd you not! No, actually that's bulls*t. It's just a temperature sensor measuring ambient temperatures. Very useful when you need to monitor temperatures in an object or an area. It is compatible with microcontrollers and circuits for embedded usage scenarios, etc. The sensor has got three pins; ground, vcc, and data signal, which connects to appropriate terminals on your development board. Of course that's not the end of it. You also need to write a program to capture, interprete and display the data using an IDE and a programming language of choice. Testing a small program that reads temperatures from a sensor with probe. Couldn't have picked a better day to demonstrate the span between the outside temperature a warm day and frozen ice lollipops in a freezer.
