listening to clark's playlist on spotify, specifically dear maria count me in, reminded me of keerang tv (rip). keerang was pretty much the only place to see alternative music videos (rock, punk, metal and emo) on tv.

this is just an self-indulgent au where teenager clark and bruce knows each other. during the summer they'd put on keerang tv and text each other if they saw the other's favourite band playing. because there is just something about being an awkward 13 year old and seeing your favourite semi-niche band playing on tv and watching it with your friend, even if you're in different places, that feels very affirming. it's just cool as hell.

also might just be based on me and my friend when we were 12.
