Today I realized something. You still love me. After all this time. I can marry someone else. I can have children with someone else. None of that changes anything. You love me.

You didn't get in touch. You did't answer my messages. We didn't manage to be friends. None of this has anything to do with me or what I've done. It's about you protecting yourself from something you can't control. You probably realized it that afternoon in the cafe when my engagement ring silenced you. I will never forget how your body language changed and I will never forget the look in your eyes.

You can get a new girlfriend, you can cut me out of your life. You can ignore my birthday, my messages. But still you think about me. Still you wonder how I am. Wondering why I haven't fallen in love with you. Wondering why I didn't choose our life. Forgetting that you wanted to get rid of me then. That you wanted to suppress me as a bad memory. For a long time I blamed myself for that. Today I lay awake in the dark and it became clear to me. I've long accepted that this is the way it is and only in painful moments long back to what connected us the most. You still love me. I'am the chapter you can't close.

Because of that I will close my eyes tonight and wish for you to forget me piece by piece. No one should mourn a what if for a lifetime. And when we are old and we look back on a place we once conquered together, we will tell each other about our lives and perhaps manage to become friends again. I hope then your life was as beautiful as mine.

For various reasons, I could not write for two years. I laid awake at night because my head was bubbling with ideas for my WIP.... Since last Friday I have a new laptop and also the possibility to write again. And I sit there and stare at the laptop. Nothing. Nada. What is it? Where did it all go? Is this just the normal "I don't know where to start" feeling again?

I just want to get lost in my stories again 😭

Just read again: After last year, the most popular name among boys in Germany is once again Matteo... And again it said how unusual the rise of the name was. Like last year, I would like to state my theory again that it is due to Druck 😉. For me the only logical explanation 😅😁

Okay, so Matt(h)eo is one of the most popular names for boys in Germany in 2020.... One of the most surprising jumps to the top. Could that have something to do with Druck? 😅

Did I really just see Lea Zoe Voss (Kiki) on Toni's Welt while Louis Daniel (Carlos) was also making an appearance in the background? Is this an alternate world where Kiki and Carlos grew up in the countryside and didn't become a couple? 😃😁😅

How did I not hear about France banning hijabs? What’s going on?

long story short, there’s legislation in the process of being passed that would

ban girls under 18 from wearing any form of religious head covering in public, and although it’s obviously aimed at muslim women, it would also affect other faith groups that practice similar forms of modest dress

ban islamic swimwear in schools and public (there is already a modest swimwear ban in place at public beaches, this just extends it)

ban mothers wearing hijab from entering schools or participating in school field trips or extra curriculars

ban the slaughter of halal poultry - the cheapest and most easily accessible form of meat protein for the muslim community

extend school hijab bans to universities

prevent muslim women from choosing healthcare providers based on gender (which many muslim women prefer to do, since many exams require removal of clothing, etc)

ban muslim parents from homeschooling

force halal markets to sell pork and alcohol or face closure

ban foreign flags at weddings

Okay... I mainly watch Skam France to improve my listening comprehension in French and because I like the concept of Skam. I don't have big expectations. I like the season even if there are some points to criticise. I have contact with teen mothers and I think it's important to tell their stories. From my experience, I'm sure the focus would have been different.... But... As Max has been portrayed for a few episodes, this relationship should have come from his perspective. He's not a Main but the season from his perspective just seems more logical to me? I mean, to resolve the conflict, I see a conversation between Maya and Max happening - but we don't get to see that. Because we're in Tiff's point of view. If these two are still going to get back together this season, I don't know how we're going to believably see a change from Tiff's point of view? It's going to be a secret.... But maybe they'll stay apart and let them both grow some more?

With all the other issues, only Tiff's point of view makes sense. But as for their relationship is concerned I don't see it.... Or am I the only one who sees it that way?
