( priyanka chopra, 29, cisfemale, bisexual ). ━☆ have you seen that ZARA SINGH is back in town and working as a CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON now? she left because of COLLEGE/MED SCHOOL and has been gone for ELEVEN YEARS and HASN’T seemed to changed now that they’re back. you’ll find that, at times, they can be EGOTISTICAL & COMPETITIVE but it balances with them being COMPASSIONATE & DRIVEN which might be why YELLOW FLICKER BEAT by LORDE always reminds me of them.

tw: car accident (no deaths though)

okay so zara was born into to a moderately wealthy family.  she was the middle child and definitely experienced middle child syndrome. her entire life she’s lived in her older brother’s shadow. any time she did anything wrong it was why can’t you be more like your brother or when she did something right she heard well your brother did it in x amount of time or your brother had already accomplished x x and x by the time her was your age

on the other end of the spectrum her younger sister was the baby of the family and was doted on completely by her parents. this left zara to dangle somewhere in between. 

she was always exceptionally bright, partially fueled by her competitiveness instilled in her during childhood. she had a particular fondness for astronomy and always thought she would end up working for nasa. 

this changed when she was sixteen learning to drive and she got into an  accident with her father in the car. fortunately they both lived, but were rushed to the hospital and zara had to have emergency surgery. it left an impression on her and it was ultimately caused her to become a surgeon herself. 

in med school she swore she was going to specialize in neuro (bc go big or go home) but during her residency she fell in love with cardio

she’s kinda full of herself ?? but not in a i’m so hot kind of way but in the way that surgeons usually are. she carries herself very highly, almost elegant. 

her personal mantra is “exceed expectations”, it’s something that was told to her in her first year of residency and has stuck with her ever since

yeah so basically she left for college/med school (and has been gone hella long bc that shit takes years) but is back now and has recently landed a job at hartley’s hosptial as a cardiothorasic surgeon!!

i’d love connections for her! friends from high school, best friends, work friends, work husband/wife (not actually married or romantically involved but like miranda bailey/richard webber from greys), ex boyfriend/girlfriend, maybe characters she coincidentally went to college/med school with or they did their residency at the same hospital. or anything you can think of, really!

     jasper shrugged it off and leaned back a bit further in his chair,  ‘ nah don’t worry about it. kids will be kids. ‘  he’d wanted them once, but as the more years passed by the less likely he saw that happening. dark eyes scanned over the menu quickly before they turned back towards to the woman. ‘ hmm, i don’t know -- what do you recommend? ‘

“alejandro!” maya hissed, eyes narrowing at her son where he hovered near the glass pastry case. “stop bothering the customers. go do your reading.” ale for all his eleven year old self, looked humbled and giddy, slipping back to the booth in the corner. shaking her hair, maya turned back to the table she stood at, regretful eyes shining at the customer. “sorry — he’s a bit of a handful these days. what can i get you?”

Warren laughed as a patron ordered a buttery nipple. The name was very funny, and the bartender didn’t know how anyone could order a drink like that and say it was such a straight face. The patron did not seem happy with Warren, but he quickly made the drink and handed it to the other. Using his towel he cleaned up the watery mess left on the counter top. “Did you ever wonder how people come up with drink names?” This one question had been on his mind for a while now. “When the person who makes the drink tastes it do they say, wow this really taste like a blow job?”

hiya !! i’m willa, i play the lovely CARMEN SINCLAIR ( margot robbie) and JASPER DRAKE ( jason momoa) and i’m super stoked to be here !! i’m the worst at intros (and mine is super late) but if you’re interested i’ll put a brief (that’s a lie i wrote a lot) overview of my children below the cut. also hmu if you want to plot with either and all that jazz ~

( jason momoa, 30, cismale, heterosexual ). ━☆ have you seen that JASPER DRAKE is back in town and working as a MECHANIC now? he left because of A BROKEN HEART and has been gone for TEN YEARS and HAS seemed to changed now that they’re back. you’ll find that, at times, they can be STOIC & WITHDRAWN but it balances with them being FUNNY & KINDHEARTED which might be why THUNDER by IMAGINE DRAGONS always reminds me of them.

jason grew up without a lot of money. it was just him and his mom most of the time. (his father was a deadbeat that ditched soon after he was born). he’d go around hs neighborhood doing odd work wherever he could find it. mostly stuff like mowing lawns or walkng dogs, but he’d also sometimes help his elderly neighbor fix his car. he knew about jasper’s home life and was sort of a mentor figure during his childhood years. that’s where he found his love for cars and figuring out what made them work.

 he got a part time job the minute he was legally allowed to in order to help his mother with the bills. it often meant a lot of late nights finishing homework after a particularly brutal shift. he got pretty good at finding places to nap without getting caught during down time between classes

in his senior year of high school he met a girl that he instantly had a connection with. their relationship burned bright and fast -- but with all things that do it very quickly crashed to the ground. she came from a wealthy family who didn’t really approve. they tolerated it while they were in school assuming it would die on it’s own, but after they graduated and got engaged they gave her an ultimatum. it was either him or her inheritance. she picked the money and they never saw each other again.

after a few years he still wasn’t over her and he blamed it on the fact that their memories still haunted him. everywhere he looked he’d think of a time they shared together in that place. he left town to start over somewhere new, and it worked -- for a while. he’d send home money to his mother. he stopped thinking about that girl completely. he found a job as a mechanic. he was happy.

it’s now ten years later and he found himself oddly longing for hartley once more (plus his aging mother doesn’t have all the time in the world). so, he moved back. found a new job, also as a mechanic, and has been here for three months already.

margot robbie, 25, cisfemale, pansexual ). ━☆ have you seen that CARMEN SINCLAIR is back in town and working as a HOSTESS AT A RESTAURANT now? she left because SHE GOT OUTED FOR BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A MARRIED MAN and has been gone for FIVE YEARS and HAS seemed to changed now that they’re back. you’ll find that, at times, they can be FLIGHTY & VAIN but it balances with them being CHARISMATIC & AMBITIOUS which might be why STARRING ROLE - MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS always reminds me of them.

o k a y so carmen is everyone’s problematic fave. she used to kinda live for the moment and not really think about consequences ?? & when they inevitably came back to bite her she’d just brush it off, because before she had never done anything bad enough that she couldn’t talk her way out of.

she got into a lot of trouble in her youth just doing stupid stuff with her friends. shoplifting, vandalism, sneaking into bars or movies.normally when the cops got called they’d just bat their eyelashes and get let off with a warning, but they weren’t always so understanding and she spent a few nights in a jail cell

she was a bit of a party girl, but at school she mostly just kept to herself. she knew that after they graduated everyone there would be just a blip on her radar (or so she thought) so she didn’t really put much effort into getting to know her peers outside of her friend group.

she was basically middle class with high class tastes

life didn’t really go the way she expected after graduating and her criminal record and lack of effort academically caught up with her. she didn’t get into any of the colleges she applied for so she enrolled in a community college a few towns over which she’d commute to for classes.

she’s kind of impulsive and doesn’t always make the best decisions so it wasn’t really surprising when she got outed for having an affair with her friend’s husband

the way people would stare at her whenever she went out in public and the argument that ensued when the gossip reached said friend were the final straws. that night she packed her things, dropped out of college, and left hartley.

the past five years she’s alternated between living on the road (hitchhiking from place to place mostly) and staying with the friends she met along the way

she’s older now, a little more mature. life after hartley helped her grow as a person and helped her learn better decision making skills (bc without adapting she prob would have ended up dead tbh)

her mom died when she was young and her dad died while she was gone, so the only family she has left s her sister. and honestly ??? that’s probably at least half the reason she came back
